Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX recieved a letter stating capital one visa closed my account due to nonuse, however, my card had expired XX/XX/XXXX and they did not send me a new one. They also did not give me any advance notice so i could resolve the issue with them, and now they refuse to reinstate the card because it was closed XX/XX/XXXX. Then this coming XX/XX/2019 statement, I received an additional interest charge of {$54.00}.
I called the company and I spoke XXXX she said they can not waived the interest because this is valid interest.
I believed this is not fair because this is over charged interest in my part.

Complaint: I have tried several times over the last couple of years to have Capital One lower our interest rate on our credit card, with no avail. I pay the card on time, and often early, and always pay more than the minimum. This positive track record dates back more than five years, yet when I call to request the rate to be lower no one can help me and have never been granted a reduction. Is there any regulations over the rates these companies charge and how often the reduce the interest rates :

Complaint: Capital One Visa Credit Card Company They promote themselves as a travel card yet I can't access my online account while I'm living abroad. Before, their online system would email me a security code to access my account. Now that feature has been removed and they must call you or text you on a US phone. I live in XXXX and have a XXXX phone number. They don't call or text international therefore I have been denied online access to review my statements, pay my bill, etc.
This started for me on XX/XX/2019. They stated they escalated the issue and turned it over to a third party, whom they refused to reveal their name/company name.
I've reported it to the XXXX Complaint Number:XXXX & now reporting this to you. This affects all Expats. I'm not the only one. I have friends that have been without access for 6 months. They are having to use a relatives phone number in the States and then they, in turn, call them with the texted code. CRAZY! Realize you only have so long to get the code and input onto the screen to enter your account.
This is not a good business practice.

Complaint: Without any prior notice, Capital One closed my credit card account due to inactivity. While it is true I have not used the card in some time, I would have never allowed the card to be closed because it is my longest standing credit card at 14 years. My account with Capital One has always been in good standing and never delinquent. When I contacted the company on XX/XX/2019 they said there was nothing they could do to reopen the account and now my Average Date of Credit for credit score reporting purposes will decrease.

Complaint: I currently have an open credit card with Kohls. This account has been opened since the year of XX/XX/XXXX. I have never opened a kohls credit card. I called the kohls credit department and gave all my information based on whats on my credit information and they cant find anything listed under my name and cant find anything listed with my social security number. I filled a dispute and nothing has been taken care of. This is very concerning and I want this matter to be taken care of immediately please.

Complaint: so I logged in to Capital one website on XX/XX/XXXX the due date on my account I made the payment on Monday for some reason It did not go through all the way so I got a late fee. I called customer service to tell them what happened and none of them would waive my late fee for me I have sent emails to Mr XXXX and a bunch of excecutives and have heard absutoley nothing I even tried to call the contract I had in the corp offices from last time and he docent work there anymore. This is not the `1st time I had a problem with there website. I have talked to a manager named XXXX who's employee number is XXXX XXXX who does not think my late fee issue is warranted to send into customer relations and she won't help me and docent think my issue is important enough to send the coreperate office at all she is very rude and act she was god and I could not talk to anyone above her and she made me really upset.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a Capital One Savor One Card. Since I subscribe to XXXX XXXX and XXXX, I received an alert that XXXX, XXXX XXXX and XXXX had been pulled for evaluate my Capital One credit application.
I received a online response when I completed the application indicating additional review was necessary and I would receive a decision within 7 to 10 business days. It has now been almost a month ( 20 business days ) and I have not heard one word from Capital One. I have called them several times and I keep getting a response that they are sorry but more time is needed. I have been an exceptional customer of Capital One for many years and I am at a loss as to why they havent made a decision on my application and refuse to communicate with me.
No consumer should be treated so unprofessionally. With the 30 days approaching will my application be voided. Will additional pulls of the Bureaus be necessary to continue the application process?

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notice from Capital One that my account balance was XXXX. My account limit is XXXX. I made a XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX to avoid having the account over the limit. Then on XX/XX/XXXX payment of XXXX was made to Capital One and now had a XXXX balance.
My concern is that the account was over the limit as of XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of XXXX but was paid off within 3 days. The account was not over the limit long enough to be reported to the credit bureau. I called Capital One and they stated that it should not have been reported to the credit bureau and that it was a mistake. Never the less, their actions have affected my credit score.
I want this resolved and Capital one needs to correct the information that they have sent to all three credit bureaus.
