Complaint: I disputed this {$300.00} charge of XXXX XXXX XXXX in the month of XXXX, and in the month of XXXX it was reapplied citing that after XXXX months investigation I will get a permanent credit. I did try to contact XXXX XXXX at XXXX, PIN NO. XXXX, but everytime I call him/her, it goes on voicemail. She was the one from whom I received the letter on CFPB and she is not standing by her words.

Delay in processing application
Complaint: I applied for a Capital One Savor Card. My Credit was pulled the next day. A week later I received a piece of mail from Capital One asking that I snail mail them a copy of my social security CARD, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, and my Government Issued Photo ID - no information can be redacted.
I am very upset that they pulled my credit, which dropped my score 5 points with a hard pull, and then asked me to verify my identity. If I had known they were going to request additional information to qualify for the card before I applied, I would have passed.
I am now in a predicament that CapitalOne had the nerve to pull my credit, and then ask me to verify who I am. My credit should have NEVER been pulled if they were not 100 % sure I was the one to request the card. The process should be that they are absolutely sure of my identity, request documentation, and allow ME to decide if I want to continue with this application before they degrade my credit score.
Application -> Verify Identity -> Pull Credit ; it should NOT be Application -> Pull Credit to verify it is worth pursuing -> and then request that I verify my identity.

Complaint: I have multiple credit card accounts open with capital one in good standing for nearly 5 years. In XXXX of 2018, there was an error in the app and the payment I made toward one credit card, the oldest I have with them, was not received. I was never notified by capital one that the account was delinquent, otherwise I would have rectified the problem immediately. You could clearly see in my credit file that for years I have made thousands of dollars in payments monthly and have never been late. Why would I have been 30+ days late on a {$25.00} payment? I tried asking capital one for goodwill removal of this after it was actually partially their fault for never notifying me and also for their app not allowing my payment to go through. They denied help over the phone multiple times over multiple times and I wrote formal letters to Capital One @ XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX and never even received a response. I recently asked for verification from the credit bureaus and capital one even furnished completely erroneous information on the late payment, stating to the bureaus it was late in XXXX, when it actually was XXXX, further negatively affecting my credit score as showing the late had been more recent than it was. I just simply would like capital one to appreciate a customer who has never stiffed them on principal or interest and have even referred people to their bank. Now they are treating their good customer like a criminal and affecting a 6-figure earner into barely even being able to get a decent rate or account anywhere because of this negative activity on my credit report.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I called Kohl 's Credit Card Co. because I didn't receive my bill. I told them I had been ill and was not able to call sooner. I was told they would waive the late fee. The following month I received my statement with the late fee charge, I called and explained waive of late fee in XX/XX/XXXX, but was told I was required to pay it in order to be removed. I explained I had a tight budget because of medical bills and was told i had I believe 10 days to pay it or it would be added again. I paid that fee in a few days to avoid that additional charge. In XX/XX/XXXX, I received my statement and there was a late fee again. I called and once again I was told I had to pay it, to not get another one. I explained I had paid XX/XX/XXXX 's before time allowed but it came upon deaf ears. I called XXXX explaining problem and was told to file a complaint. I did and it was forwarded to the XXXX in the area of the credit card company. I received an email 30 days later from a Kohl 's representative who didn't even address the issue, or even seemed to care about their errors and instead told me I did have to pay. I was allowed to accept or reject this response. I rejected and soon after submitting it, I received an email from XXXX saying the case was considered closed.
