Complaint: Never use a Capitalone360 checking or savings account. Now all my money is blocked, in brunch on the phone, a blatant woman explained to me that I have a lot of claims transactions. I was given dispute credit more than I have money in the bank. What? I looked at the statements for the last year. What fake information she gave. I have more than a few thousand more of my money in a savings account. You can close my accounts but give me my money. People without education who really know nothing about banking work there. Very soon I need to contact a lawyer, and try them for the fact that they illegally held my money. They dont care what can be, I dont have money for what to live? What to buy products and pay for a credit card? This is the first time in my life when I had such a story.

I then petitioned them for a full refund after said investigation providing them a copy of the police report in which the whole case is laid out. After providing them with everything they requested they refused to investigate and remove the fraudulent charges from my account. This has impacted my credit score greatly and my ability to pay my bills.

Complaint: I have a CapitalOne Quicksilver credit card, it was perfectly maintained never get late payment. The card expired in XX/XX/XXXX, I waited for couple month but didn't not receive any replacement card ( which other companies always do month leading to expiration ), I then requested replacement card on their website, another month passed and I never receive my new cards to this day. XX/XX/XXXX, CapitalOne closed my account due to inactivity. I can not use the card because CapitalOne never send me my renewed card after the one I have expired 20 month ago, and this should not be the reason my account is closed without notifying me 30 days before they made the decision. I would like to reinstate my account considering the impact to my credit score due to its impact on my average age of account.

Complaint: Capital One Platinum Card My payment is due on the XX/XX/XXXX of each month, I paid on the XX/XX/XXXX on Capital One website, they issued a late payment fee on the very same day, this company is fraudulently churning millions of customers accounts with deceptive terms of service and advertising. XX/XX/XXXXThey are posting payments made on their website on the XX/XX/XXXX as the XX/XX/XXXX after a certain time of day, when it is still the XX/XX/XXXX, this is part of their great fee ch urning in the same fashion as XXXX XXXX was convicted for. An example of the major fraud they are running is something their computer software did to me about a year ago, they actually charged my account a late fee on the XX/XX/XXXX, 1 day before the payment was even due. Since their software has charged my account a late fee 1 day before the payment was even due, this tells me that Capital One is fee churning customers for late fees as a cash flow profit center. So Capital One is using computer programs to fee churn, they need to be investigated for fraudulent fee churning as they are ripping off millions of accounts with flawed computer software that is assessing fraudulent charges to millions of accounts every year.

Complaint: credit card # - - - XXXX was paid off in full at one time and the account was closed, on XX/XX/XXXX. The check and the payment letter were sent by certified mail with a receipt and Capital One Bank mailed me a receipt. I still have all of these documents. on XX/XX/XXXX, ( 3 ) Three years later, Capital One sent me a claim statement for the same balance that I paid off on XX/XX/XXXX. They immediately turned it over to collection without any notice or a hearing. Capital One Bank refused to provide any evidence of the who, what, when, where or how of any new transactions to the closed account. Capital One refuses to talk to me, at any of there several ph numbers. As soon as I put in my account # I am transferred to a collection agency. I tried to E-mail them and I even sent a certified letter to the CEO, XXXX. XXXX, in VA, and one to there UT office, requesting information on the transaction, all of my statements and especially a FOIA and a PAR request. They refuse to provide any information or evidence of a charge. This is an URGENT situation as I the collection agency is trying to get my money.

Complaint: I received a letter from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that I owed {$480.00} for a balance on a Capital One credit card ending in XXXX. I have two Capital One credit cards neither end in that number and both have zero balances. I went to Capital One and they have no record of it other than my two credit cards ending in different numbers. I have never received a past due notice nor has anything ever been on any of my three credit reports. I have had the same address for about ten years and same phone number and I have never heard anything from Capital One Bank. I tried to contact XXXX and not only were they rude but they informed me that they would obtain a judgement and I would have to pay more and that it would be better if I just paid the debt. Capital one advised me to not do that and to file a formal complaint.

Complaint: I opened up a capital one credit card for XXXX dollars to boost my credit score. I have never used this card, I wanted to keep balance at XXXX. I was informed by capital one the card had a XXXX annual fee, and the card would not be active until it was paid. I have never received a statement for the card by mail or electronic. They finally notified me by phone and told me the fee was ( 3 ) months late, I paid the annual fee, they told me they would wave the late fee 's. I applied for a new home loan and was denied they reported on my credit report ( 3 ) missed payment, it destroyed my score. I contacted them and they said nothing could be done and it would stay on my report until 2026. This will potential cost me thousands of dollars in interest payments. Please stop this attack on consumers and this type of fraud.
