I have been a victim of online fraud based on two impersonators called XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. It began on XXXX until now. I am in a financial hardship. My world has been exposed. I have copied my friend XXXX XXXX a XXXX XXXX who I speak to daily. I filed a report with the FTC-Identity department # XXXX. I have spoken to Capital One who recently had a data breach. Complaint: It's been 20 days ( as of XX/XX/XXXX ) since Capital One learned of their massive data breach of credit card customers. I have used their credit services since XXXX, and to date have received NO communication from Capital One regarding the hack or what information of mine was compromised. They only have general information and FAQs on their website. I just called customer service and they could not tell me what information of mine was compromised, including potentially my SSN and outside bank account number. Their lack of transparency regarding my own information after nearly 3 weeks is very concerning and I want answers.

Complaint: Account was frozen due to " unusual activity '' and kicked into the fraud division. 3rd time this has happened to me in the last 18 months. Each time I have to call in and identify myself thru the automated service line before being transfered to the Fraud dept people. This time they are having one live representative ask for three bits of personal data before they will " release '' the account. They refused to say what charge or activity is leading to these Frauds, nor will they allow me access to the account online to see what charges or payments have posted.

Complaint: I am requesting that CFPB investigate the refusal by CapitalOne to process a Reg Z chargeback request instigated by XXXX XXXX XXXX and supplemented by me re our MasterCard ( acct no XXXX ). XXXX rental car submitted an outrageous bill for which it retained no prior written authorization resulting from a rental car transaction. The car rental was late and attempts to extend rental directly was impossible due to unlawful attempts to change the rate or the refusal to agree to unlawful price gauging. The credit limit is XXXX and yet capital one accepted a XXXX bill by XXXX, tacked it to our account balance, and then promised to issue a preliminary credit via 2 supervisors before suddenly closing the dispute. Capital Ones customer service representatives outsourced to non-US countries failed to document original Reg Z chargeback demands properly, sent out the wrong forms containing inaccurate amount of disputed charges, and thus resulted in about 7 calls before two supervisors confirmed the chargeback credit was to issue within 24 hours of last call to Supervisor. I am alleging a conspiracy to prevent rental car availability to Mr. XXXX and me for purposes of preventing us from driving and relocating to DC with XXXX XXXX, who has an active CIA EEO matter pending in DC. Capitol One, along with XXXX, and every rental car company has collusively resorted to the most extreme forms of unlawful business practices and made a mockery of blatant consumer protection violations to hinder interstate and intrastate travel. I would like Capitol One customer service recordings of both Card holders on this account to be played along with a review of the writing s sent to the address of Mr. XXXX while both of us were stranded in CA attempting to secure a rental car while XXXX and XXXX XXXX in Texas sabotaged an auto purchase of a unique conversion van intended to be driven to DC by XX/XX/2019. I would like this matter corrected and brought to the attention of the Senate Intelligence Committee as XXXX XXXX is familiar with the pending CIA matter of XXXX XXXX, who is my husband.

Complaint: My Capitol One card was stolen and an unknown person used it. I reported the charges to Capitol One and they sent me a new card. They credited the interest charges only and have not credited the transactions. This is harming my credit. I was a victim. The charges caused my credit to suffer and now I am waiting to apply for employment but can not because of my credit score being low when it was not before the fraud. By their own policy I am not responsible. Why aren't they crediting my card to reflect the true balance.

Complaint: I am missing up-to-date credit information from use of my Capital One credit card at the three major credit reporting agencies. This can be seen in Complaint ID numbers XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. In summary, when I call all three agencies they say they only report what Capital One sends them and that is the issue, they do not have the complete information. When I called Capital One to ask them why this is the case. They say I need to go back to the credit agencies because they have sent them up-to-date information and they are not reporting it correctly. I am now left with severely falling credit scores as a result and having no clue what to do next. I have made all my payments on time and for the total amount due in all cases. I need help as one party is not telling the truth and I am caught in the middle.

Complaint: My name is, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have had a koals credit card with their company for a few years back in XX/XX/XXXX- approx XX/XX/XXXX, into XX/XX/XXXX when a friend of mine had added clothes to my basket with out my knowledge as we were leaving ... I assumed she had checked out and was throwing he things in with mine .... well she had not paid the sheriff at the door summond both of us and went went to XXXX. I used my credit card for all of my purchases however they were taking and should have. My issue is I was band from koals and could not come into customer service to find out what I owed or if anything, I receive a phone call after over 300 dollars of late fees and was told I would be in collections I have no idea why I was grabbed thrown Im XXXX with out the options to come to the store and pay my card as I had always done at customer services and now my CREDIT report has several delinquent payments ordering that will stop me from recieving my XXXX XXXX medications because I can not get and credit help to earn back.. I feel like this was a very mean unprofessional and I will send them to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. Thank you for any help XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: I have a loan with CAPITAL ONE BANK USA N. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason, I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting both XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and CAPITAL ONE BANK USA N with no successful resolution. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX were reporting me late. There was definitely an error on their part. I was never 30 days late.

Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: I have every one of my credit cards set up on automatic payment so that they are never late because I am trying to build my credit score back up. Since these were all on automatic payment I didn't pay as close attention to them as I do the ones I have to manually log in and pay every month. In XXXX however, I noticed when looking at my capital one app that I had been charged a late fee. I didn't see how that was possible since it was coming out of my bank account at the same time every month. So I called Capital One and was informed that they didn't know why but the account had been taken off of auto pay. I have four cards on there, all on auto pay, I did not authorize it to be stopped. The lady said she could get it started back up, that she didn't know what had happened but once they reported it as late to the credit bureau they had no power to get it changed. She told me She would take the late fee charge off on their end, which she did, but I would need to dispute it with the credit bureau. ( Which I did ). I don't feel that I should be penalized with a bad mark on my credit for something that wasn't my fault. I would really like that derogatory mark taken off please. I am working hard to build my credit back up.

Complaint: I have a XXXX 's Card that is managed by Capital One. I do not use the card frequently and have signed up for alerts when I have a balance and as a due date approaches. I did not realize that I had a balance on my card and it was due on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a call on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX from Capital One at XXXX pm. I was unable to take the call. I received a call on Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX from Capital One at XXXX XXXX. I was unable to take the call, however I did listen to the voicemail on Monday morning. After listening to the voicemail, I concluded that I must have overlooked a balance on my XXXX 's card and immediately logged onto the XXXX XXXX XXXX and paid the balance of the card in full. I also contacted Capital One and indicated that the card had been paid through the website. One Tuesday, I received a call at XXXX and again I indicated that I had paid the bill and to not call me again. I received another collection call at XXXX at which time I indicated that I am being harassed and the person on the phone agreed. Subsequent to that phone call I cancelled the card.

Complaint: Good Evening ; I been trying to reach out to capital one for a while now requesting detail documents pertaining agreement, consent, the original application, and question about the way it's reporting on my credit report from all the 3 credit bureaus. Then I get something canned as templates from them, asking me for more information. I simply asked for detail verification of this alleged debt, exercising my rights under FRCA guidelines of section 623 where it allows me as a consumer to address the furnisher directly. And then I received general templates saying that they want me to be more specific. Why can they use the 30 days window to investigate and provide me the documentation requested?
