Complaint: Bank of America was running a 0 % promotion until XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I decided to take advantage of this promotion and borrowed {$20000.00} to purchase landscaping services and they charged me an {$800.00} fee on top of the {$20000.00} so the Total was {$20.00}, XXXX. When I saw the next bill they had charged an additional {$360.00} of interest on top of the {$800.00}. When I called to let them know they had made an error they told me they would not honor the promotion since the landscaper had the same last name as I did. I do not own the landscaping company. There was nothing in the fine print that said they can determine who I give my business to. There are many businesses in this area with my same name but I do not own those businesses either. It is like XXXX. So they told me I had to return the money in order to get the {$360.00} back which I did. They have not returned the interest or the fee they charged. But what they have done is fraudulent advertising. Also I want the {$800.00} back since I did not wind up borrowing on this promotion. On XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I had paid {$1100.00} for the first billing so on XX/XX/XXXX I paid {$19000.00}. They should return the interest they incorrectly charged me {$360.00} and the {$800.00} fee they imposed. There is no reason they should keep this money as I did not get the promotion. Why should they dictate who I hire? There was nothing in their promotion that said they have to approve the business I use. This is fraud and usury and stealing and false advertising. Please make them give back {$800.00} + XXXX plus the {$1100.00} I paid.. I will never use the Bank of America again and I have already secured the loan through another more reputable bank.

Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Complaint: I sent a certified letter to Bank Of America indicating a inquiry on my personal credit profile I did not authorize. Bank Of America wrote me a letter in XXXX stating they will send a notification to the credit bureaus to remove such inquiry. I then submitted this letter from Bank Of America to XXXX that acknowledged the letter and deleted the inquiry immediately.
However, Bank Of America did not submit the notification to XXXX to remove the fraudulent inquiry as well.
So I am submitting this complaint with hopes that Bank Of America will honer their letter to me and request XXXX to also remove the unauthorized inquiry as they stated in the initial letter addressing my concerns.

Complaint: Bank of America engaged in the prohibited practice of Dual Tracking while my application for assistance was under review.
I submitted my application was submitted timely and 37 days before the scheduled sale date of XX/XX/XXXX.
Please see the attached documents!
Federal Law Restricts Dual Tracking, The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which was established by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, issued mortgage servicing rules that, after being codified into federal law, went into effect as of XX/XX/XXXX.
Among other things, the rules restrict dual tracking. The servicer can't start the foreclosure process if a borrower submits a complete loss mitigation application and the application is pending. This means that if you submit all of the required paperwork, the foreclosure can't start until the servicer informs you that you're not eligible for any loss mitigation option ( and any appeal you make has been exhausted ) you reject the workout option that the servicer offers to you, or you accept a workout but fail to comply with the terms of the deal ( like not making payments during a trial modification ).
12 C.F.R. 1024.41 governs a servicer 's response to a loss mitigation application.
12 C.F.R.1024.41 ( c ) ( 3 ) ( I ) ( D ) ( 2 ) provides that where a borrower makes the application and a judicial foreclosure has already been commenced, " the servicer can not conduct a foreclosure sale before evaluating the borrower 's complete application.
" Further, 12 C.F.R.1024.41 ( g ) prohibits a servicer from either holding a foreclosure sale or moving for a sale if a borrower makes a loan mitigation application within certain time constraints.

Complaint: RE : Bof A crdit cards -- XXXX or XXXX -- XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX credited a charge back in US . The choice of denoimination is mine, not XXXX XXXX. This unilateral choice cost me {$80.00} to {$100.00} due to currency fluctuations. XXXX has never responded to this complaint.
Bank America, in it's wisdom, had declined the claim. I abhor Bof A 's attirtude which just enanles and encourages this typr pf scam by hotels etc. B of A 's position, in my experience, is to default to the vendor.
Someone needs to look after the little guy. Start with me.

Transaction was not authorized
Complaint: I submitted a fraud claim to boa in XXXX about unauthorized XXXX charges in the approximate amount of {$6000.00}. It took boa less than 5 days to deny the claim, even before I was able to provide any documentations and their trivial reason was that i logged into my boa online account during the time the charges took place, which means I'm aware of them. I explained to them that that's incorrect and although I've done business with XXXX, those charges were unauthorized. I even sent them proof from XXXX itself, telling me that my account was hacked and encouraged me to report all unauthorized charges to my bank. I reopened the claims weeks ago with the XXXX admission of hacking, police report number, FTC complaint and OCC complaints. Not a single update, I even contacted their phone representative and all they said was I don't know, I'll notate the account. These are claim numbers and amounts as well as the fax text I've seen along with the supporting documents : Hello, Attached are supporting documents for claims : Claim No. XXXX {$2900.00} Claim No. XXXX {$2900.00} My XXXX account was hacked and XXXX has told me in writing to dispute all unauthorized charges that went unnoticed over a long period of time. I also uploaded a copy of my FTC and OCC complaints. In addition, I filled a police report with XXXXPD : XXXX and was advised to file a report with IC3.gov. I would truly appreciate a diligent and prompt reversal of all charges in both claims.
Warm regards, XXXX XXXX

Company closed your account
Complaint: We had a business checking account ( Acct # XXXX ) with Bank of America to accept payments from our customers for advertisement services. On XX/XX/2019, we had a returned check of {$300.00} ( Check # XXXX, please see attachment for check image ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2019, we found out that our business bank account was locked. After visiting the bank on the same day, we were told the account was under force closure due to a counterfeit check deposited, which is the one mentioned above, the returned check numbered XXXX from XXXX XXXX. It's being handled by the Risk Department and they would not allow us to dispute or close our account before they close it and they were rude on the phone to the banker who was helping us to get more information on this matter.
We also contacted our customer, check writer, to find out what really happened as to if it is really a counterfeit check?? And here 's what happened : The customer who wrote that {$300.00} check contacted his bank ( XXXX XXXX ) to stop the check because he didn't see his ad on the website the same day he paid, so he thought his ad was not on. Ads are posted one or two days after the ad fee is paid. So he called XXXX XXXX XXXX to refuse payment without asking us first. The customer stated that a XXXX XXXX representative suggested to him ( over the phone ) to close the current checking account and open a new one, so the check # XXXX will not get cashed. Therefore, the customer closed his XXXX XXXX checking account associated with check # XXXX. And that was the reason why that check bounced. Our Bank of America business checking account didn't show any problems until XXXX. Bank of America made the decision to close our business account without any type of notification to us, no email, no mail, no phone calls, no text messages, no In-App message, simply ZERO communication and notification. We must make it clear that the check # XXXX from XXXX XXXX was NOT a counterfeit check, that check is genuine, it belongs to the customer ( XXXX XXXX ) and his mother ( XXXX XXXX ). It was written from the joint XXXX XXXX checking account in both their names. Please note, XXXX XXXX is our customer and owner of the business paying for advertising. The customer XXXX has said that he can talk to Risk Department of Bank of America to explain the situation, but Bank of America Risk Department would not give us any chance to explain. The banker at the local BofA branch told us, once the Risk Department made the decision to close someone's account, no one can do anything, their Risk Department is above all. The banker also said she has lost many customers due to this kind of force closure by their Risk Department with no warning to the customer.
Furthermore, my personal Bank of America checking account also got force closed by the Risk Department on Friday, XX/XX/2019, it's really hilarious that my personal checking account is newly opened on Tuesday, XX/XX/2019, and there is no activity yet. I opened the personal checking account with Bank of America only for our customers ' convenience, otherwise, I would never want to open any account with Bank of America in the future. This bank is really using abusive and unfair business practices inconsistent with the American way of business and I am sure inconsistent with the principles of CFPB.
Bank of America made an INCORRECT conclusion/decision after two months of investigation, that is so not professional, and we do not accept this unfair outcome. Bank of America lets a {$300.00} check ruin my and my companys credit, is this how they treat the consumers?

Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I was at a night club. I paid for and signed a legitimate bill for approximately $ XXXX.After I left the club, there was a second, unauthorized bill that my card was used for, approximately {$700.00}.
I filed a dispute and My fraud claim was denied repeatedly because Bank of America said that the club had my signature. Of course they had my signature, they forged it on the second bill using the first bill that I signed. I refused to pay the {$700.00} and closed my account.
I wrote letters to Bank of America, the credit agencies, but to no avail.
In XXXX of XXXX my credit score fell 50 points, referencing this unpaid bill from XXXX. The agencies Are penalizing me twice for a bill that was fraudulent on the first place.

Complaint: on XXXX XXXX a default judgment was entered against me for a credit card. When the default judgment was entered interest of {$2000.00} was added to the judgement for a time period that the company did not own the account the credit card account was charged off in XX/XX/XXXX interest was charged from XX/XX/XXXX I seeked the courts to intervene on this matter and because the judgment was already entered and time had passed the judge was unable to overturn this I am now having to pay interest I never owed to this collection company that has broken the fair debt collection act ( FDCPA ) thought its practice of retroactively imposing post charge interest on consumers debt. i am asking for assistance I have tried to settle the account which they refuse to do unless I pay 85 percent of the debt in full.
