Complaint: I originally closed my home loan with a company called XXXX XXXX. My husband is a XXXX vet and we received a VA loan. My loan was sold twice since then. When Amerihome my second lender sold my loan to XXXX XXXX my third lender, I was not aware and I inadvertently sent my payment to Amerihome. When I contacted my new lender Amerihome and told them about my concern they told me to get in touch with Amerihome they told me they will hold my payment for approx 60 days before refunding it to me. Meanwhile my new lender XXXX XXXX is saying I am late with them and there is nobody and who can give me an exact time frame as to when I will receive those funds again.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX : Mailed XXXX XXXX County Property Tax Statement which indicates taxes due XX/XX/XXXX is {$3800.00}, to Amerihome. Received Annual Escrow Statement dated XX/XX/XXXX, which indicates Property Taxes are {$6800.00}, and that my monthly payments would increase from {$1200.00} to {$1600.00} beginning in XX/XX/XXXX. Called Amerihome in XXXX, and was told that yes, the actual Tax Statement had been received, that my Escrow Account would be updated to reflect the amount on the County Tax Statement, and that they were initiating an Over-payment refund request with XXXX County. Also, that once updated, my monthly payment would be within a few dollars of what it had been, {$1200.00}. Received Statement dated XX/XX/XXXX, which indicated that XXXX 's payment would be {$1600.00}, instead of what it had been previously. Called Amerihome, and spoke to XXXX, and eventually XXXX, allegedly a Supervisor in the Tax Dept. During this call, it was confirmed that Amerihome had received the Tax Over-payment Refund, and that I should only make a payment of {$1200.00} for XXXX, that my account would be updated and I would receive an updated Annual Escrow Statement. I made that payment on XX/XX/XXXX. Spoke to Amerihome today, XX/XX/XXXX, after the XXXX Statement I received still shows amount due of {$1600.00} for XXXX, and I still have not received a updated Escrow Account Statement, which I need for my XXXX Tax Return.

Complaint: I have never received worse customer service from a company than I have received from Amerihome Mortgage Company LLC. Been dealing with an error ( their mistake, they did finally admit that ) in my escrow related to property taxes. The taxes are all paid and the escrow account is back to where it should be, but they have been jerking me around since XX/XX/2018 in regards to fixing my payment. Ive talked to every supervisor in the building it seems but they are the most inept people Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The worst part is I dont have a choice, they bought my loan from the original provider, so Im stuck with them. Just this week they have agreed to accept payment in the amount of the original payment, but then charged me a fee for processing the payment over the phone. They would not provide contact info for a supervisor over the first level and purposely refused to offer me the chance to take a customer service survey at the end of the call ( even though they always asked in the past ). In the beginning I was annoyed but everything was working out exactly like they said it was going to so I wasnt worried, now ... Im just angry. I dont wish any harm on anyone, but I swear I hope their building burns down and the company goes out of business. Useless wastes of oxygen, the lot of them. Still waiting as they say it wont be fixed until XX/XX/XXXX ... .4 months since this started ... through no fault of my own. So if you have a choice, go elsewhere ... if youre like me and dont have a choice ... XXXX for mercy I guess, what else can you do?

Complaint: I have a few mortgages with Amerihome mortgage and one with XXXX XXXX. My home insurance recently changed. It used to be with XXXX, it is with Auto-Owners now. My Auto-Owners agent provided everything that is needed to both XXXX XXXX and Amerihome Mortgage to update the records to include new insurance. The problem is that both XXXX XXXX and Amerihome had the amounts listed as {$6400.00} for each of the properties which is incorrect. It is supposed to have individual amounts for each property and not combined amount for all of the properties. My Auto-Owners agent contacted XXXX XXXX and Amerihome verbally and by fax to have the numbers updated. XXXX XXXX updated the amount to what it is supposed to be, however, Amerihome is not updating the insurance premium and it has it listed as XXXX for each of the properties which will be an issue when its time to pay out the premium as well as do escrow analysis as my mortgage payments will increase. My agent faxed a letter of explanation including the policies and the amount breakdown for each property on XX/XX/2018. She spoke with the agent verbally on the phone and I spoke with agent who confirmed that she saw the fax and that it will be corrected. I checked the records and after a few days it still hasnt been corrected. This will create an issue for me in the next few months as the insurance premium will be paid XXXX times all of the properties to over {$30000.00} instead of XXXX for all of them and my mortgage payment will skyrocket if it is not fixed before than. My insurance agent has done everything what was needed and faxed the documents in and I am helpless a this moment. I hope Amerihome Mortgage can fix this issue as XXXX XXXX already did before it is too late.

Complaint: I have been trying to apply for a loan modification with Amerihomes for about a year now. I fell behind due to my debt that accumulated during my mothers death and sickness. I also had flooding in my basement. When I tried to make a payment the bank would not accept it because I was more than 3 months behind. I have applied on several occasions. I always provide all the documentation they request. Every time I call it is another document that they request. I submitted another loan modification package. I was told it was complete as of XX/XX/XXXX. It was with the Underwriter and it would take them 30 days to make a decision. Now today on XX/XX/XXXX I was told by Ms. XXXX agent ID XXXX that the XXXX has stopped reviewing my package AS OF XX/XX/XXXX because they need more information. They need proof my mother died and medical bills and they need me to send them a bill for all of my expenses itemized. They want bank statements outlining all of my expenses. This is unfair and ridiculous. They are going to keep making excuses until I loose my home. Every time they put an excuse to this loan modification. It seems like they want to foreclose on my house since it is in a nice area. We make more than enough money to pay for our mortgage between my son and my sister 's family. Our hardship was resolved and they are trying to steal our home! my family has been through enough now they want us to be homeless too!

Complaint: In XXXX of 2018 I took out a mortgage with a lender and had payment set up at closing. Then my loan was sold/transferred to Amerihome Mortgage. As soon as it was possible I set up autopay with Amerihome and even received confirmation that it was set up. Unfortunately due to reason related to our bank account name not matching the name on the loan ( I had used an LLC name on my bank account ) it was rejected by Amerihome. By the time I received notification I was late on my payment. I then called and attempted again, following directions provided by Amerihome to remedy the situation regarding the names not matching. I provided proof from the bank that the sole signors on the bank account matched the name on the mortgage ( me and my partner ) and was told that this should fix the issue. Again it failed to work and by then I was late another month. By the time I fixed the situation on a third attempt my credit score was severely affected. I called Amerihome about this and was told that it would be in my best interest to file a dispute to all credit bureaus on my own as it would be a faster resolution than if they did it on their end. I took their word for it and almost 60 days later my credit score is still down by nearly 100 points. I have never missed a mortgage payment on any mortgage before this and have worked very hard to maintain a high credit score. I don't dislike Amerihome, I just want my credit score to be returned to where it was.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I filed for a loan modification because of a {$92000.00} loss in revenue I suffered due to a jealous employee. I have made many calls to Amerihome and each of those calls were inconsistent with the previous. This was so alarming that I believed Amerihome was purposely misleading me so as to to take my home. Terrified, I sought the advice of an attorney and was advised to contact HUD and record names, I.D . numbers and dates. Back in XXXX I called in to make a {$5000.00} payment, however, the person I spoke with indicated I couldn't make a payment while in loss mitigation. As well, on XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with Ms. XXXX # XXXX she told me to send equipment loss documentation as well, she told me because my balance was so high that I probably would not get a modification. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with Ms. XXXX # XXXX she confirmed the equipment loss docs had been received. However, when I checked in on XX/XX/XXXX Ms. XXXX # XXXX informed me that my file had been closed on XX/XX/XXXX and they were foreclosing, she also explained that Ms. XXXX should've made me aware of the closing of my file when I spoke with her on XX/XX/XXXX. Ms. XXXX advised that if I met certain criteria, I could have entered into a payment plan that would have allowed me to get back on track without having to go through a modification. In sum, I am very fearful of losing my dream home ... I've provided every document that has been asked of me. Noteworthy, there were serious omissions on part of Amerihome that would've changed the outcome. I had been back and forth with Amerihome for 9 months and was asked to submit the same paperwork over and over. When asked to speak to a supervisor, I was placed on hold for over 45 minutes each time. Amerihome is consistently inconsistent and their unethical and predatory practices are so apparent in all the complaints I have read. I never, ever received a response to my loss mitigation application that I have submitted three times over! It shouldn't take over 9 months to review an application and make a determination. They now tell me that I am in foreclosure after never even trying to offer me a solution or give me any results of my application. This is unfair! I have all of my submitted documents and proof of all of the faxes being submitted. I am extremely stressed and worried about losing our dream home and becoming homeless with my wife and son. I have contacted HUD, XXXX and a lawyer and I do not want to claim bankruptcy over such a nominal amount of money. I XXXX XXXX XXXX and have the means to pay my mortgage now that things are back on track but Amerihome seems to want to take my home and haven't given me the proper service.

Complaint: I made two payments that were never credited to my account. The first payment for {$3000.00} cleared my bank on XX/XX/2018. Amerihome never credited my account but instead returned {$3000.00} to my bank account on XX/XX/2018 [ note I made two payments in XXXX when I learned they returned the funds. ] The second payment I made was {$3000.00} pay-by-phone with an Amerihome representative on XX/XX/2018 confirmation # XXXX cleared my bank account XX/XX/2018 online trace number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Amerihome never credited my account for this payment. I've called Amerihome numerous times and talked with many of their representatives to resolve this. I've sent pages of documents to prove the payments and I've conferenced several representatives from my bank with Amerihome representatives to verify these transactions. All of my efforts to date are unsuccessful. Amerihome has reported me late to the credit bureaus for months ruining my credit. It is important they recognize their mistakes and reverse the credit reports.
