Complaint: I phoned my mortgage company, Amerihome, today. I was harassed and mistreated beyond my level of comprehension. The phone representative made threats and posited herself in a very aggressive manner as though she was bullying me. This was all because I wanted to make a mortgage payment as I was locked out of my account. The woman 's last name was XXXX and her ID was XXXX. I did not pick Amerihome ; they bought my mortgage from XXXX.

Complaint: AmeriHome Mortgage failed to pay my homeowners insurance policy from my impound account funds. Upon contacting them, they stated XXXX had no record of me ever having an insurance policy. I contacted XXXX, and found in their notes that AmeriHome has never transferred the payee on the policy from the last Loan Servicer. XXXX has advised AmeriHome on 3 separate phone calls what they needed to do in order to get the policy information, yet AmeriHome failed to follow through and allowed the policy to lapse. AmeriHome also failed to notify me, I found out when XXXX raised my Auto Insurance due to the cancellation of the HomeOwners Policy.

ON XXXX/XXXX/2016 I got an overdue notice from they.I called and wrote and over phone check.On XXXX/XXXX/2016 they took out two payments from my checking account.I called on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and said I want my money back.They said they would send me back one payment.I got both back in checking .So on XXXX/XXXX/2016 I called them and wrote another check for a payment.For some reson that did n't get put in, so I wrote another XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/2016 to them.On XXXX/XXXX/2016 I got a call from them saying I still owed them two payments, i missed 04 and 05.I then faxed them my records .and was told I still owed two payments.ON XXXX/XXXX/2016 I got two calls from them, saying I still have to pay them two months payments.That day I think I talked to them 5 times.And they are not very nice.

See Exhibit 2, bank statement with transaction ID/confirmation number. 3. XXXX XXXX, 2015- We receive a check from XXXX XXXX XXXX together with a letter simply saying that the loan was sold to a new servicer but not identifying the name or contact information of the new servicer. We are suspect that the check is fraudulent and do not cash it right away. We bring the check into our local XXXX branch and have our banker look into the check to ensure it is not fraud. See Exhibit XXXX, attached copy of notice and check from XXXX XXXX XXXX. 4. XXXX XXXX, XXXX After investigating the check from XXXX XXXX XXXX, the check is deposited into our XXXX checking account. See Exhibit 4, deposit slip deposited the refund from XXXX XXXX XXXX. We wait until the check clears and posts to our account before paying the new mortgage servicer, Amerihome Mortgage. 5. On XXXX XXXX, 2015, we also worked with our banker at XXXX XXXX to fax in a letter explaining what had transpired and how the XXXX payment was made on XXXX XXXX, 2015 and was not late by fault of our own. See Exhibit XXXX, a copy of the letter that was faxed to Amerihome 's attention. 6. XXXX XXXX, 2015- The Re-Payment of XXXX Mortgage made to Amerihome Mortgage via our XXXX electronic payment system. See Exhibit 6, attached cashed check from the transaction. 7. XXXX XXXX, 2015- XXXX Mortgage Payment made to Amerihome Mortgage via our XXXX electronic payment system. See Exhibit 7, attached cashed check from the transaction. 8. XXXX XXXX, 2015- Amerihome began reporting to all consumer credits reports that we were more than 30 days late paying our XXXX 2015 mortgage payment even though the prior mortgage servicer accepted the payment on XXXX XXXX, 2015 and did not send a refund check via snail mail until XXXX XXXX, 2015- making receipt, cashing and paying the new servicer impossible by XXXX XXXX, 2015. 9. XXXX XXXX, 2015- our/borrower 's legal counsel submitted a formal notice of error with all the above information and documentation. 10. To date, neither legal counsel or borrower has received acknowledgement of the notice of error or a written response to the XXXX XXXX, 2015 notice of error. Amerihome failed to remove the adverse 30 day late XXXX 2015 payment for 60 days following Borrower 's notice of error.

Complaint: I recently purchased my first home using a FHA loan. My loan was sold to Amerihome Mortgage and I have been having issues getting them to accept my mortgage payment ever since. I have submitted multiple payments through their online system, their phone system, and XXXX XXXX Bill Pay only to have the payment be rejected by Amerihome each time. I have the correct account number and have the funds in my bank account. I have called them numerous times, had a threeway call with Amerihome and XXXX XXXX, and still have not had this issue resolved. Despite Amerihome being aware of the issue, they continue to harass me with automated calls demanding payments. They do not respond to my emails, and always promise to have a supervisor call me back, but I have not recieved any calls besides the harassing automated payments. I warned Amerihome that I would file a complaint with BCFP but clearly they are not worried about it because I am still unable to successfully submit a payment to them. I am at my whits end and just want to have my mortgage paid and my credit clean. Please help me! Thank you!

Complaint: My mortgage company accidentally paid my homeowners/hazard insurance twice in one year from my escrow account. I noticed this in XXXX 2016 when I got my year end review. The Insurance company sent a refund shortly after when they noticed the overpayment. I started the process of depositing this money back into my escrow and opening claims to adjust the escrow needs and monthly payments for 2016. Since this process began, they have opened XXXX different claims to request the adjustment and I have spoken with them XXXX8 times between XXXX and XXXX XXXX. The response I get each time I call is that the previous representative did not open the correct request and that something else has been directed as the appropriate action, but none has taken action on the correct path that has been " noted '' in my file. This company has had more the XXXX representatives, whom apparently are not thoroughly trained, that have mishandled my loan. Not once have I received a call from them, they XXXX8 times I was in contact with them it was me reaching out to them only because I saw no activity in my online portal by the estimated date they had given me for resolution.

Complaint: Several months ago my mortgage was bought by a company called Amerihome Mortgage, as soon as they started they sent me a letter saying I was short on my Escrow account, and raised my payment by about {$100.00} which made my new payment go from {$1300.00} to {$1400.00} this was XX/XX/XXXX. Which I complied by, back around XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted information to have my PMI to be removed, they sent me a email that said I had met the requirements and that on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX it would be taken off, I asked for my statement be sent to me showing my new payment would be, that 's the other issue I have asked that a monthly statement be sent to my home each month since they took over my loan, still no statements, than just this week I received a letter telling me that my new payment would be {$1300.00} starting in XX/XX/XXXX. And that my escrow account was short {$260.00}. I have paid the full amount of {$1400.00} right up to XX/XX/XXXX which would have {$340.00} over paid since XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Which would make a total of {$79.00} over paid to cover the {$260.00} they say I owe on my escrow. I keep calling to resolve these XXXX issues but get nowhere?? They do n't return my calls, or email complaints leaving me to this point of filing a complaint and try to get help resolving my XXXX issues, and I guess also the escrow account seems to be messed up.

Complaint: I completed a re-fi in XX/XX/XXXX. The lender transferred the servicing to AmeriHome Mortgage. Three months after my re-fi, my home owner 's insurance policy was due. AmeriHome failed to make the payment although my hazard is escrowed. I contacted AmeriHome about the missed payment when I received notice from my hazard insurer that the policy was now past due. I was informed on a Monday by AmeriHome that the payment had not been submitted but would be overnighted. I contacted AmeriHome the next day to learn that the payment had NOT been overnighted as promised. I was told for a second time that the payment would be overnighted that very night. I called again Wednesday, and still no payment was overnighted. Wednesday is the cancel effective date. AmeriHome lied twice to me, failed to make a timely payment for my hazard insurance, and thus, caused me to have to pay out of pocket for the hazard policy for a two month period to keep the coverage ongoing until AmeriHome can get their act together and submitted the late payment. My hazard insurance agent contacted AmeriHome on 4 different occasions to obtain payment ; however, AmeriHome failed to hold up to their responsibility in ensuring payment of escrowed items.

Complaint: My Home Loan was sold to AmeriHome Mortgage Company from XXXX. Payments were to being XXXX XXXX to AmeriHome. In the meantime, I was making payments to XXXX and partial payment was already sent out to XXXX since I did not get the notification until XXXX. I then called Amerihome to introduce myself and find out if they want me to cancel that partial payment to XXXX or continue to let it go through - in which XXXX would then forward it to Amerihome. On the phone, the rep from Amerihome told me that they do not accept partial payments unless I fill out a form, but that they would accept it as a XXXX time courtesy. XXXX forwarded this payment to Amerihome XXXX in which Amerihome still has not posted to my account with my other partial payment to form a complete payment. Amerihome has sent me a check made payable to XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) which I could not cash. They asked me to send them the check back so that they can investigate in which I did immediately. I called them and they have no idea what is going on. I spoke to a gentleman named XXXX four week ago who assured me that they have all money and things will be fixed in my account. Nothing was ever posted. I receive delinquency letters and threatening voicemails from Amerihome constantly. I have missed work, I am out money and have so far documented 18 hours on the phone with them - including a Supervisor named XXXX for two hours two weeks ago ( beginning of XXXX 2015 ) who assured me that she would handle it and yet nothing is fixed. I should be up-to-date until XXXX XXXX, but it is showing delinquent and I will be assessed fees for them to have to come out and inspect the home! This is TOTALLY unprofessional and completely stressful. My husband is going for XXXX XXXX jobs, we both have XXXX credit scores and this can be detrimental to our future. Currently, I am out hundreds of dollars of lost wages not including the XXXX damages of them possibly putting us in foreclosure and worrying about my children! Please help!

Complaint: My loan has been transferred to Amerihome Mortgage and since the transfer I have had one nightmare after another. I was proactive in signing up for ebilling and auto debit. they missed the first auto debit and then said that they could not auto debit the XXXX payment since I was late on the XXXX. After calling to settle this and authorizing both payments Amerihome failed once again to debit the payments and I had to call again 1 week later to get the mortgage paid. I then received notice of forced placement of insurance but my premium is paid in full through XXXX and they were given the Mortgagee Clause in XXXX but failed to update their own information. This has caused far too much aggravation and their customer service has been less than helpful as they did not have the means to process the payment on XXXX phone call and had to transfer me to the billing department. They state that it takes 2 months to set up an online account which is ridiculous.
