Complaint: I recently paid off a mortgage loan at AmeriHome Mortgage Company , LLC, XXXX, NJ XXXX. Within a day or two after the loan was paid off, online access to our records was abruptly cut off. I am now unable to see my last payment how it was applied to my loan. I am also unable to see a transaction history of deposits and payouts to and from my escrow account. I have not received any explanation or itemization for a refund check that we received in the mail. This is a rude and abusive way to treat a borrower. I need this information to balance my records and compute my taxes. I do n't think it is fair to ask me to lick a stamp or pick up a phone to get access to obtain MY information.

Complaint: My current mortgage servicing company is AmeriHome Mortgage. They bought my loan from XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. AmeriHome Morgate claimed that they never had my insurance policy paper on file and their escrow department never paid the premium that was due XXXX of XXXX. I ended up paying the XXXX premium out of pocket. See my latest email below to AmeriHome dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. It documented the whole ordeal and what I expected from them to resolve the issue. ==== I have contacted Amerihome multiple times about my property insurance premium issue. Your response below did n't capture what had happened. Let me summarize : 1. The service of this loan was transferred over to Amerihome from XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX 2. During the transfer, the insurance document was missed. Even though this is really not my problem ( you should have contacted the loan seller for that ), nevertheless I uploaded on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX the most current policy, which is the XXXX/XXXX/XXXX policy. 3. I then contacted Amerihome multiple times notify about the policy expiration date. I was told that a request has been made to escrow department. However, no response since then. 4. To keep the policy from lapsing, I ended up paying XXXX the XXXX policy premium out of pocket, and designated Amerihome as the mortgage holder. 5. As you can see, I am doing all the tasks that a mortgage servicer is paid to do. From your response below, nothing seems to have happened from Amerihome side. If I did n't take the initiative of paying the premium myself, I shutter to think what would have happened to my coverage. 6. Let me spell out what I expect from Amerihome. Refund me {$980.00} the policy premium from my escrow account, or pay XXXX the same amount and they will refund me directly. 7. Notify me via message or phone XXXX by XXXX/XXXX/XXXX about status, or I will log a complaint with XXXX about Amerihome. This will be my last resort, but I do n't see any other options, having had to dealt with your lack of effort/urgency regarding this matter.

Complaint: I purchased my investment house around XX/XX/XXXX for {$150000.00}. I put 15 % down back then. As of XX/XX/XXXX my loan has a remaining balance of {$120000.00} ( 79.4 percent remaining ). The loan was sold to Amerihome Mortgage. I have filed XXXX requests to drop the PMI but per Amerihome via written letters I have to wait 2 years of paying PMI from the initial loan date and then have to do an appraisal regardless of what I have paid off already, and then submit a drop request again ( which takes about 40 days ). I have paid 100 % on time ( auto draft ), the requests were submitted via e- another e-mail and wait for a 40 day response via mail ( per Amerihome ). I have a perfect payment history. Every time I try to speak to someone about the PMI they say " This department is only available by e-mail ''. I have called multiple times and requested to speak to a supervisor and I have had no traction for the last 5 months. I am below 80 % paid off and I am eligible to have my PMI dropped, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I will attach pictures later in this process.

Complaint: Re : REFINANCE LOAN WRONGFULLY DENIED Dear Commission on Real Estate & Loans : As a citizen of the United States and a Tax Payer and as a Person with integrity and good Personal Credit History I would like to bring to your attention a wrongful denial for an Application to Refinance an Existing Loan from a higher interest rate to a Lower interest rate. On XX/XX/2016 I received a letter denying the application for a home refinance loan from my ( now former ) mortgage holder, Amerihome Mortgage, LOAN # XXXX ; XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NJ XXXX ; Ph XXXX. The letter explained the reasons for the denial were that, ( a ) not enough income was generated and ( b ) income could not be verified. This letter had a very upsetting tone because, # 1 It came after 3 ( three ) months of no contact from the lender ; # 2 the lender did not inform me promptly of the situation at hand ; # 3 did not make any attempt to clarify the situation of the income or of any other information the loan might additionally need. # 4 it was a waste of time waiting for a response, time that could have been used to find a more capable lender to serve me. Points to be made here are : ( a ) the refinance loan process with Amerihome Mortgage started XX/XX/2016 when the application was signed ; ( b ) the denial letter was sent on XX/XX/2016. There is a gap of three and a half ( 3.5 ) months that we were kept waiting for something that was to be denied anyway. On XX/XX/2016 I inquired and started the same application process for a home refinance loan with XXXX, and to my pleasant surprise the whole process took only a month and IT WAS APPROVED! Therefore, I am writing this letter hoping to bring to your attention that some lending companies are incompetent. These lenders are wrongfully accusing people of not having enough income or not being able to verify their income. In my opinion, this a discriminatory practice set in place to be able to protect the interest of Amerihome Mortgage, and to forcefully keep their clients paying higher interest rates. During the application process with Amerihome Mortgage I felt intimidated and belittled. I felt intimidated because they were not returning my calls, they were ignoring my messages and they kept on promising that the loan has been approved, but the underwriter is still missing/looking for documents. I felt belittled, because the letter that was sent denying the loan made me despair and loose all hope that I could ever refinance to a lower interest rate. It also made me feel incompetent that although I work hard, I have higher education and I am currently employed, I could never make enough income to prove that I could live the American Dream of owning a home. In an attempt to get away from them my mortgage broker informed me my credit report has been damaged by there failing to process my payment in this summer. This will prevent me from getting refinance. There employee who stated she tried to call me on XXXX XXXX lied and never called me at all. This is criminal to case me personal damage on my credit report and to put my home in danger of default by not posting payment made to them. Please Please help. Below please find the email sent to their staff attorney XXXX/XXXX/16 regarding my XXXX payment not be posted. He contacted me after receiving your compliant. Dear XXXX XXXX ( Attorney for Amerihome Mortgage ) I would like to let you know the problems continue with my not being able to make payments on my mortgage due to your system errors. I made a payment on line in XXXX with a manager in your office and discovered the payment has not been registered yet and my XXXX payment is not showing as having been paid. I can not pay my XXXX payment on line as it requires XXXX and XXXX be paid! I spoke with a mortgage broker to refinance to get away from Amerihome and he said you have damaged my credit report by stating my payment was 30 day past due. I need to have these issues resolved asap this is absolutely horrible. I spoke with someone in your executive office 2 days ago who lied and said she called me but no message was left on my cell phone and my home phone ca n't take messages. I hope to avoid filing a new compliant with the federal government and to not look for additional regulatory assistance with this important matter. I can be reached at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Complaint: Amerihome Mortgage holds the loan on our house. The funds we pay in to the escrow account include money to pay our real estate taxes. We received a delinquent notice and contacted them yet the taxes were not paid. We received a second notice and contacted them again. Again, the taxes were n't paid. We received a third notice and my spouse, who is an attorney drafted a demand letter. The taxes were paid however Amerihome did not pay the penalties that they incurred through their delay.
