Complaint: A Company called Allied Interstate called me sometime around the 3rd week in XXXX asking me to verify personal information without telling me what the call was about. When it became clear that they would not release any information without verification, I told them to stop calling me and then blocked their number. I have now received about 5 different voice mails with no message recorded, each time the same phone number is listed in the header information of XXXX. I assumed it was just a telesales line as I have been looking for information online and may have gotten put on some phone list. So, on XX/XX/18 after receiving another voice mail notification with a blank message, at about XXXX, I checked the header information for the message, and called the number to find out that it was Allied Interstate calling me again. I repeatedly asked what the calls were about, but the representative would not disclose any information until I verified personal information. I have never done business with an Allied Interstate so I was highly concerned as to how and why this company has my information. He continued to recite previous addresses that I had lived at in my past, but I will not verify personal information with anyone I do not know. This phone call was ended just after I told the representative to stop calling my phone, for the second time.

Complaint: For the past 3 months, I've been getting upwards of 10 phone calls a day from Allied Interstate regarding a group of private loans. Since my mother is a co-signer, she gets the same amount of calls, too. They come from both of these numbers : XXXX XXXX Because I work with a financial planner, I told the rep about two weeks ago that I would need time to download all of the information with her before deciding to move forward. Still, I am getting non-stop phone calls. They've also threatened to garnish my mother 's wages for payment without any explanation as to why or how they can do this. Upon further research, I discovered that this company is known for harassing customers and would love for them to stop. I've also asked them to at least decrease the amount of times they call a day and they have not.

Complaint: XXXX attended XXXX College between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX while he was in the XXXX. He reached out to the university via email, which told him that his XXXX XXXX XXXX would cover tuition. After enrollment, XXXX told him that his XXXX XXXX would not cover tuition, and that he had to take out federal loans. XXXX took out loans to cover tuition. XXXX encouraged XXXX to take out private loans as well, claiming the federal loans were insufficient to cover tuition. XXXX also presented a private loan as a refund to XXXX, who was unaware he would owe student loans by accepting the so-called refund.

I have NEVER procured, solicited or entered into any contract with XXXX XXXX/ XXXX over any of their services or products. I would also like to stress that the first name that appears on that account is not my own. This fact alone should make their claim null & void. I have asked for proof of claim for them.

Complaint: I submitted a fraud claim to XXXX XXXX XXXX, Federal Student Aid an office of the US Department and XXXX XXXX XXXX no response XX/XX/2018.Instead my file was transferred to another agency Allied Interstate on theXX/XX/2018.
XXXX XXXX Garnished me illegally. I had legal counsel at that time.
We assumed the issue was resolve. I receive a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX that I will not be offset XX/XX/2018 I was offset XX/XX/2018 ( enclosed is the letter ) Also I never received notice of Offset. Per the State Treasury funds should be giving back ( letter enclosed ) My Fraud Claim was not reviewed and XXXX XXXX XXXX refuse to return all funds. I submitted A hardship and I fit every criteria listed even eviction. Also I am on medical leave from my employer due to XXXX. In which I supplied documents I receive no income. XXXX XXXX XXXX violated FDCPA and FTC and never investigated my claim of fraud also I submitted there letter that they sent me in writing that they will not Offset or take any funds. I forward them back there own letters and documents from the department of treasury Nor Did Allied Interstate review. All calls were recorded even the call to the State Treasury that there was not a hold on funds. Which was forward to American student assistant, still no resolve.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 the collection agency allied interstate LLC showed up on my credit report with any previous notifications or phone calls for the amount of XXXX dollars. I then try to call this company to get this verified or to why are they on my credit report i adk for verification of debt i was told that i had to go to original cretitor to verify the debt with will be XXXX XXXX. The problem here is allied interstate llc shows up on my report they cant verify the debt but not only that i have to verify with original creditor plus i was never notified on this debt. Allied interstate LLC should have some kind of debt ferification and contract as well they are reporting unverified information on my credit report. I do not have any documents because allied interstate llc does not have my adress and im unsure if I should tell them my adress as they may later try to use it to verify information

Complaint: Allied Interstate has been calling my families, friends, clients, former employers several times over the the past years. I have contacted the company several times, both in writing and phone calls, to contact only me and stop contacting anyone else. On XX/XX/XXXX they called my client 's number trying to get a hold of me. The call was forwarded to me and I hung up right away because it was inappropriate to call me at such places. I contacted the company back within an hour requesting that they stopped calling others except me and requested a debt validation letter. However, they company said that my account was already closed and there was no record of anything or calls with them! However, on XX/XX/XXXX, they called the same client again from XXXX. The same company that claimed I no longer have an account with them is continuing to harass others.

Complaint: I have a credit card with XXXX, to which I have been in contact with. I am being called multiple times a day, from multiple numbers, that are somehow bypassing my call blocking settings. Allied Interstate is a collection agency that I have not given permission to call me, and are calling more than four to five times per day. I must have my phone off most of the day due to their infuriating and excessive calls. I miss calls from doctors and contacts that I am actually doing true, and lawful, business with. This company is disrupting my life and falsely reporting to my credit file as an open account. I opened no account with them and provided no permission to share my personal information.

Complaint: I submitted a request in writing via email requesting that they stop contacting me by phone. I requested that all further communication be done in writing. I received a confirmation email that they received and read the email, yet within an hour two more phone calls came through. They call me approximately 4 to 5 times a day and never leave a message.
