Complaint: Allied Interstate sent a letter ( XX/XX/XXXX ) regarding a debt we disputed on XX/XX/XXXX when they used one of their other companies ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and used a different reference number. We explained that the original debt was disputed with the original debtor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) due to identity theft and fraud that the company refused to address, refused to cancel the card, and had the audacity to add late fees, over the limit fees, and even continued to increase the credit limit ( which was {$300.00} ) to {$900.00} to be able to include the fees. Allied Interstate now has sent another request for payment for XXXX XXXX XXXX, another of their companies. We have disputed this debt with the credit bureaus, the credit card company, and the police department, but it does not stop any of them from sending more letters demanding payment and threatening to affect my credit score, which has already taken a horrible hit since XXXX XXXX dares to say I am in default. This has affected my ability to obtain employment. This has gone on since XX/XX/XXXX and they continue to come at me repeatedly under a new name. This is just beyond frustrating. I don ; t know who else to turn to since even when you write and dispute a bill they just change name and start all over again.

Complaint: Company is calling me in an attempt to reach my brother. I do not have any debts myself that they are trying to collect. Several weeks ago, I answered one of their calls ( after they kept trying repeatedly ), and I told them I had no information for them, and that I didn't have a better way for them to contact my brother. I asked them to stop calling me at any of my phone numbers, as I would be of no help to them. They have since attempted to call me on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX ( I'm guessing they will try again today, XX/XX/XXXX ). In short, they're harassing me about a debt that I do not owe in an attempt to reach one of my relatives when they've already been told that I have no additional contact information for him.

Complaint: We received a telephone call from ( XXXX ) -XXXX at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2018. When Our answering machine came on the caller hung up without leaving a message. We looked the number up and learned that this caller is a Debt Collection Agency by the name of Allied Interstate. We are Seniors. We do not have any outstanding debt. We do not want these People calling Our Home ... especially at unauthorized hours and not stating the nature of the telephone calls. If These People have a Legal Debt They're attempting to collect ... It would seem that the initial step would be to contact the Individual in writing via U.S.Mail. We don't owe any monies to anyone. Complaint: My complaint is about Allied Interstate collecting for XXXX XXXX on a XXXX credit card. During a period of financial difficulties, I got behind on my small debt with XXXX through XXXX XXXX They have since started charging me a huge fee each month such that I will have difficulty ever bringing this account current even though I make a payment each month. Allied Interstate calls me almost every day up to sometimes 8-10 times, including on Sundays. I have tried to make settlement with them but since most of their people do n't speak plain English it is impossible to deal with them. Even if you call XXXXXXXX XXXX itself, you still get connected with someone who does not speak clear English. If they want to call one time per day I can accept that but I am sick of the Sunday calls. This company should be shut down for its many violations of the federal debt collection laws. They call me both at work and on my personal cell phone.

Complaint: The company uses an automated dialer so most of the time when I answer the call I get nothing but disconnected. They do not leave a message when they call. When I finally connect with someone they are asking for someone I do not know and I tell them that but they keep asking questions about how to reach the person, and are very persistent, annoying and harrassing. Also, outlaw auto dialers. ALL persons and companies using autodialers are harrassing people

My lawyer also sent them a letter to stop collection. But they wo n't stop call my phone and husbands phone multiple times a day! Please stop this harassment!
