Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received a call from a caller labeled " Unknown Name '' XXXX. The caller stated he was from a collection agency, and he was fumbling and unprofessional, which made me immediately suspicious. He then stated that I was in default on my student loans and they knew where I worked and would resort to garnishing my wages if I did n't pay. I stated my student loans were all current and I have no loans in default, and that I had successfully completed a rehabilitation program to get my loans back in good standing, and I have made on time payments for the past 6 months. He was insistent that I was in default to the amount of {$16000.00} I knew this to be incorrect and stated i 'm not paying anything, and if wants me to do anything I needed a written statement from his company to compare with my own records. He asked if I would call him back, and he stated they closed at XXXX, which struck me as VERY odd, as most agencies are open into the evening to accommodate people and their work schedules. Yesterday I received a letter from Allied Interstate LLC, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX MN XXXX. They are asking for {$16000.00} for a loan whose total balance is only {$10000.00}. It 's as if their information is 3 years old. I suspect the entire thing is a scam and they are not legitimately associated with XXXX, the company that services my consolidation loan.

Complaint: Just over ten years ago, XXXX XXXX, and/or their subsidiary collection agencies, began threatening my grandmother (co-signer) with lawsuits and my mother's work income (also a co-signer). Now, XXXX is using a collection agency called Allied Interstate to collect the debt. Allied Interstate sent me a letter proposing that I pay 1/14th of the amount I owe in order to "pay the debt in full." With the advice of a credit counselor, I contacted XXXX, listed as the original creditor, to confirm and verify this proposal. Before I could speak with a representative, the call was directed to Allied Interstate. I asked the representative, "XXXX XXXX," to request a letter from XXXX confirming the proposed debt settlement. The Allied Interstate representative stated "XXXX will never do that." He also stated, "don't listen to your credit counselor." I need to know if this is a legitimate proposal, and I have a right to know from the original creditor.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I received an alert from my credit monitoring service stating that a new debt was added to my credit report. I logged into my credit monitoring account and it was brought to my attention that Allied Interstate, LLC ( a collection agency ) added an account from XXXX XXXX onto my credit report on all 3 credit bureaus for an owed amount of {$700.00}. According to my credit monitoring service, it states that this account was opened on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I do not owe this debt because I have never opened an account with XXXX XXXX whatsoever. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I opened an online dispute via XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX websites. I was informed that it could take 30 to 45 days to get a response. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I received numerous calls from an unknown number ( XXXX ), when I called the number back it was Allied Interstate LLC. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, the very next day, I received an email from XXXX stating the Allied Interstate account came back verified. I am at lost with words as to how Allied Interstate can verify this account by solely calling someone constantly. I immediately called XXXX and did another dispute over the phone because this account does not belong to me. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX received the results via email from XXXX stating the same, that the account was verified. The online dispute is still in pending for XXXX until XXXX XXXX, XXXX. After receiving the results for my online disputes for XXXX and XXXX I called them and asked what method of verification did Allied Interstate provide to prove their case and they could not provide me with that information. I do not know what else to do now but file this complaint because I do not nor ever had an account with Allied Interstate or XXXX XXXX. I have even reached out to XXXX XXXX and I asked them to search my name in their database for any account and I was told verbally that I have never opened an account with them. I then requested a written letter, but I was told no one in that department or any department does not have permission or the means to do so as hard proof that I have never had an account with them.

Complaint: In 2 days I have received 10 phone calls from Allied Interstate debt collection from 10 different phone numbers. They never leave a voicemail and always call from a different number to dodge being blocked. This company has made no attempt to contact me in writing so I have no idea what their supposed business with me is. I have done internet research on this debt collection company and they are notorious for harassing consumers and are the target of many lawyers who specialize in debt collection harassment.

Complaint: To Whom this May Concern I was told that in XX/XX/XXXX, they will be selling my loan. So I feel that 's why they do not wish to settle it : listed below is my most recent correspondence with regards to my student loan the only information I have is : '' '' XXXXXXXXXXXX attn-XXXX '' '' XX/XX/XXXX Please note that since XX/XX/XXXX, I have been trying to resolve this student loan matter. My loan has been sold and resold over and over again and every time I make contact with the new loan company, I am given a new story. I do not understand why I need to explain a hardship to you in order to get a payoff figure. Most company 's want to get paid and yet you seem to want to keep my account open on the books. I have not been able to get anyone to given me a written explanation or a payoff amount and yet when I call you will talk to me all day. I hope all of the phone conversations are recorded and kept because if I can not get a payoff figure I am requesting that all of the phone conversations be produced to show that I have been making an attempt to resolve this matter and that you have been holding on to it and costing me more time and money. Please note that I am also contacting all of the local and state agencies to investigate this matter. The last phone call I made I was told that I needed a reason to settle my student loan over the phone not in writing. I have a couple of years before I retire and I would like to start preparing for my new journey in life without having a student loan hanging over my head from roughly 30 years ago. It 'd obvious that senior adults are not treated with much regards or respect today. I feel like I am being discriminated against because of my age but we will address that after I resolve my student loan matter. Complaint: I have had $ taken out of my check at my work for nearly 3 years and have never received a statement or any documentation showing this. My employer is not giving me any documentation of anything in writing stating how or why money is being taken. They were only able to provide me a phone number and case number. After XXXX the phone number, I traced that back to Allied Interstate, who I 've never done business with our signed anything authorizing them to act on my behalf. I have not received any statements of my payments or other information. I am also reporting this to the State of Ohio Attorney General 's office, as this company 's address is listed in Ohio on their website. I have requested that this company communicate with me only via email, as I will have a record of documentation. I have requested a statement of my account. I have requested a statement documenting the chain of custody of my accounts from the time that I signed my loan documents. I have requested every document that you have my signature on. I have never had a load through Allied Interstate. In research RE : student loan collection, I 've read that the collector must be able to provide chain of custody documenting how they have come to hold the loan. I have not received any documentation as such.

Complaint: The alleged company Allied Interstate, LLC is calling me every single day for months. They call XXXX times a day and as early as XXXX and as late as XXXX. They have called me during job interviews. They never leave a message and are basically harassing me. I told them I think it is illegal to call that many times DAILY, but they said nothing. I have lost my job, I struggle with health issues and I can not pay the loan payments right now and I told them that. I will as soon as I can. PLEASE make them stop harassing me.

Complaint: I owe no money. This company ( Allied ) XXXX is trying collect on a debt by looking for information about an individual not known to me. They will not stop calling. I have blocked their number, but they call daily over the past month of XX/XX/XXXX and nowXX/XX/XXXX. They call and receive no answer, but they continue to call. They called also inthe past several months ago. When you call them to complain, they do not seem to know what you are talking about. It is harassment for a debt that is not mine. This is not acceptable.

Complaint: I keep getting calls on my cell and at work from different numbers from " Allied Interstate '' for debts I do not owe. Most of the time when I answer, no one is there. Other times, eventually a person with a foreign accent starts asking for me by my first name on a " personal matter. '' One time after repeated calls I said " she 's not here right now '' and they hung up. They call several times a day in the early morning, afternoon, and evening on both numbers. In fact, they just called my cell at XXXX ( as they do EVERYDAY ) and then my work number at XXXX. Sometimes it is from the XXXX number. Other times it is from another number XXXX or XXXX. Please make them stop! Most people on the complaint websites say they are for student loans. I do have student loans but I have been paying them every single month, early, for the last several years. I have excellent standing with them. Others I have paid off years ago.

Complaint: I have been receiving phone calls from this number multiple times. When I pick up, they do n't say anything and hang up. I called back today and asked them why they keep calling. The gentleman kept saying they do n't have any information on the account, so I asked him to put me on their do not call list. He said he would be more than happy to do that, but they do n't have any information on the account. It all felt a little scammy to me, so I hung up without giving any information to this person about myself beyond the number they were attempting to reach.
