Complaint: There was a loan placed on my credit reports stating that that i owe a company named XXXX XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$1300.00}. I attempt several times calling XXXX XXXX but could not ever get to representative. I finally spoke to a representative from a collection agency named AD ASTRA Recovery and they stated i needed to pay the amount above or else, I explained to them that i was a victim of a hate crime/Identity theft and the person/persons responsible had used my information in other accounts. I explained to them that i am XXXX and i am on a limited income and can not afford to pay a loan i did not take out.They told me the default loan would continue to damage my credit until i paid the balance in full which my XXXX income will not allow me to.

Complaint: Upon pulling a credit report I discovered this account and have written XXXX separate disputes between XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX. I have received two letters back showing original creditor and amount owed without proof of account such as identification or signature that belongs to me. Upon calling today XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with XXXX different representatives and still no resolve. I refused to verify any information due to the account not belonging to me. I also repeatedly asked for the procedure that I need to follow to get his taken care of. I was told that I could not be helped unless I was willing to verify my identity. I was also hung up on after trying to get the proper information for 14 minutes. This account is fraudulent and I have repeatedly expressed this to the company. At this point they have not helped me and this is something that is not only damaging my credit but also preventing me from purchasing a home for my family.
