Complaint: I initially borrowed {$600.00} from the company and was told that the initial payment would be {$99.00}. A month later after taking the {$99.00} out of my bank account, another {$200.00} was debited from my account. I could not afford this rate of repayment or I would not have taken out the loan. This payment of {$99.00} was to be debited from my bank account on a monthly basis, however, every couple of weeks, XXXX XXXX would attempt to take between {$99.00} and {$200.00} from my account and would try the debit multiple times. Contacted someone who stated that only the first payment would be {$99.00}, but I was unable to find this information in the loan contract. Due to inability to afford the loan payments, the loan was sold to Ad Astra and now the balance due is {$1400.00}. There is no indication on the original loan ( {$600.00} ), nor a reference or credit to the amount paid back so far, which is {$99.00} and {$200.00}. In requesting the loan amount be reduced, the offer to me is to break the payments up in 4 installments of {$350.00} until {$1400.00} is paid in full.

Debt is not yours
Complaint: I submitted a Dispute Letter to the company and according to them they are stating that the account belongs to me without verification of the debt whatsoever.
In my dispute letter XXXX asked for specific information, of which they have failed to provide to me as per my request.
I did not sign a contract with this company that binds them to me and me to them. So how can they state that I owe them any money? I DO NOT owe this debt to them as they are stating.

Complaint: I received a payday loan from XXXX XXXX back in XX/XX/XXXX I fell behind on payments and the account was sent to a collection agency Ad Astra I was contacted by them regarding the debt that was placed in their office by XXXX XXXX. I mad arrangements to pay weekly of XXXX. two weeks ago approximately I contacted them to let them know that I was off work to me being a XXXX XXXX XXXX and and I needed the payments to resume the following Friday after I returned to work. The rep put the payment in for the Same week which XX/XX/XXXX and not the following Friday. I received a call about the payment and I did let them know that I couldnt make the payment until the next week and let her know to put it in the for the next Friday. So as of right now the debt was put on my credit report as derogatory. Iam more then willing to pay it off but somehow it was a miscommunication on their end. I want this to be removed because it is affecting my credit negatively and resume payments so it can be paid off as I agreed to with no problem.

Debt was paid
Complaint: I called AD ADSTRA RECOVERY SERVICE to negotiate a pay for delete for my balance that was owed to them. The associate on the phone agreed verbally to send me a letter of proof for the pay for delete. This phone call was recorded. all of my phone calls to this collection agency was reported. I called multiple times. They confirmed they would do this. When I got the letter it was NOT a pay for delete letter releasing me from the debt owed. It was a letter showing my account balance was at {$0.00}. So I then disputed this with the credit bureau. Not only did they offer a pay for delete letter in return for me to pay the account balance owed. They told me they would delete the owed balance off of my credit report with in 30 days. I called them today XXXX XXXX. More than 30 days later and a supervisor informed me that there is no such thing as a pay for delete letter with in their company. And told me that I had to DELETE MY DISPUTE with the credit bureaus in order for them to work with me. And from the day that I delete my dispute. They will then take an additional 30 days in order for them to recognize this account paid in full and delete this off of my credit report. This sounds very odd and unprofessional. And at no time did any one mention that I was not allowed to dispute things on my credit report. Usually when an account is paid in full and the company agrees to send a letter for pay for delete. They fulfill that obligation. And if it so happens that the account is disputed. The process is simple. They answer to the dispute. The supervisor told me on the phone that once I cancel my dispute that they will THEN follow through and update my account with the credit bureaus after 30 days.
I have attached the letter that the company fraudulently sent me instead of the pay for delete letter as agreed upon in return for paying the balance owed in full. I also dont believe its appropriate to punish some one for disputing something on their credit report and making them cancel their dispute in order to recognize the debt paid in full and delete the account on a credit report. This deeply affects and individuals credit and quality of life.

Complaint: After reviewing my credit profile on XX/XX/XXXX I identified a discrepancy with account listed under AD Astra Recovery Services. I requested a validation on XX/XX/XXXX as there was an account that I did not recognize. I reviewed my credit report again on XX/XX/XXXX and account was still there not listed as disputed and I have not received any correspondence from creditor to validate this account as correctly belonging to me. Credit report was reviewed again on XX/XX/XXXX and the account is still reflecting on my report and I do not believe the account belongs to me nor that the creditor has authorization to legally attempt to collect on this account and this account continues to negatively affect me.

Complaint: AD ASTRA Recovery Services ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) This was originally a letter reminder from XXXX XXXX for pmt due within 10 days of date on letter. Pmt was taken from checking account within 2 days causing many overdrafts. We went into XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Colorado and showed letter, explained problem, were told nothing could be done. We reversed pmt through our bank. Later we received collection letter from AD ASTRA demanding {$110.00}. We sent AD ASTRA in KS a debit card number with signature on pmt stub so the issue would be resolved. One month later, we received another collection letter and determined the debit card was not charged, so we obtained a bank money order and paid full balance of {$110.00} by XXXX XXXX Money Order ; mailed to KS address, XX/XX/2019. We wanted to clear up this matter for good! We received 2 more demand letters XX/XX/2019. We attempted to resolve issue over the phone but AD ASTRA contact address and phone on correspondence lists Colorado office address ; that office now shows as closed on Internet search.
