Complaint: I have lese a car in XX/XX/XXXX from American Honda finance corporation.in XX/XX/XXXX I have surrendered back the car to the dealership because I was behind on a payment and they keep calling my job and my co worker and manager keep knowing that I was behind on my payment.i felt badly but most of my co workers understand because we work at a car dealership and sometime it gets slow.The boss get me a little XXXX car and I pay him montly for that one. In XX/XX/XXXX I have been contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and they told me that they have my account at their collection dept.and they told me how much it was and they asked me if I wanted to set up a payment it could be any amount, i would have to pay {$7.00} plus that amount to the account.I make arrangements to pay $ XXXX month to my account, so all together I pay {$57.00} every month until I get a letter from American Honda finance stated that they no longer work with XXXX so I must pay them that {$50.00} every month.I stated to pay American Honda finance since XX/XX/XXXX, first they sell my account to some place I can't remember, they call me I have your account I said what account, they told me American Honda finance sell them my account I told him I pay my bill.i call American Honda finance and told them I was going to complain to you guys and they keep the account and I still pay them.my big problem is I have been always getting letter that I haven't pay them, I call them all the time I got those letters and they told me that they are going to update their system and I don't have to worry but XX/XX/XXXX they reported incorrectly to the credit bureau taking 40 points from my credit and I trying to buy a house.i call them and they said they are going to send to XXXX I call them dispute it.today I see my XXXX report miss pay so I call American Honda finance the lady told me I have money for her from XX/XX/XXXX. what can I do.

And Again on XX/XX/2018 I check my credit again through XXXX XXXX & Honda financial is now again reporting negative items to XXXX & XXXX, ruining my credit status once again.

Complaint: HONDA FINANCIAL SERVICES XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Secured loan XX/XX/XXXX Made a payment of {$400.00}, more than due. Had not received a booklet for payment and did not want to be late. Sent it to their office as per my paper work.
XX/XX/XXXX Made another payment of {$400.00}.
XX/XX/XXXX Got a late payment notice, called and spoke to XXXX who said I paid too soon and the payment did not calculate into the billing cycle. I asked if I can have the date due changed to fit my schedule of paying bills. She told me that I have a grace period and that late fees are stipulated after 30 days.
Therefore, over paid each month, paying my bills on the XXXX of the month.
XX/XX/XXXX Called a XXXX at at XXXX Called Honda Financial Services to make a final bill but my totals were different than theirs. Asked for a spread sheet or accounting of each interest charge, receivables, and charges to verify with mine. Could not help me but sent a running total that was not clear.
XX/XX/XXXX Received a " Running Account '' that was not clear and easy to read.
XX/XX/XXXX I called again and was told by XXXX that I had many late fees and that they will not send me a sheet or accounting. Asked to speak to manager, was told he was not available and I would be sent to his voice mail to leave a message. Asked her, to give him the message and transfer me.
XX/XX/XXXX Called back and spoke to XXXX, she said she would take the message and also transfer me to voice mail of. Left him a voice mail with all my information and phone number with a XXXX XXXX, manager.
XX/XX/XXXX Honda Financial Services never phoned me back Dispute : I received NO statement or billing stating that I had any late fees. I made regular over payments, never late as per XXXX to finish off loan sooner than the 5 year plan.

Complaint: I FIle a dispute with XXXX XXXX XXXX, as they have a Report from Honda financial there. Honda and I had a dispute for a car got into an accident which Honda sold me a GAP insurance which they forgot to process and left me withut insurance for 4 months after the crash.
I disute with Honda through XXXX and was at the middle of trying to negotiating, I did offer Honda to pay the {$80.00}. same aount I would had to pay if they had processed the proper Gap Insurance I had paid for. Honda Vindictively sold my Account to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in the middle of negotiation and ACCORDING TO THE FAIR CREDIT REPORT ACT ONCE ONE SELL THE ACCOUNT ONE NO LONG HAS OWNERSHIP AND NEED TO REMOVE IT FROM THE CREDIT REPORT.
i DID REPORT IT TO XXXX THAT Honda needs to delete everything from my credit report as they sold this account and XXXX has not removed it.
Honda needs to remove it as it is ilegal to remove it also Thank you

Complaint: Honda Financial Services dba AHFC absconded my vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX were informed. This was a holiday weekend so on Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX I contact AHFC @ XXXX spoke with their representative and I stated : " this was my first time ever so what did I need to do to get my vehicle back? '' Their employee stated : " I would have to make a payment for the remainder of the loan, including repossession cost and for the title of the vehicle in the amount of {$25000.00}. '' This is on a recorded conversation. There was no deadline date mentioned. I agreed and accepted those terms and sent them a " tender of payment '' in the amount that was asked for. {$25000.00}. Called to verify if payment was received several times. They had transferred my vehicle outside of New York State, sent off to another location somewhere in Pennsylvania, claim no payment was received or posted and I had missed the " deadline date. '' Yet, HONDA still asked for payment in full. I resent the payment and verified by tracking numbers : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX, verified " DELIVERED '' at both business locations in XXXX, Delaware and in XXXX, California where the Chief Financial Officer is located, including payment sent to the IRS. Payable to the order of : UNITED STATES TREASURY. HONDA has not honored the agreement and I still don't have my vehicle. The terms for the lease agreement changed when they accepted the " tender of payment '' made within a 16-month period and chose to close the account 25 months earlier than agreed upon as stated on my credit report. The " Right to Cure '' never took place. HONDA proceeded to repossess my vehicle, for the terms of the lease agreement had ended but, a new contract made by HONDA. The new contract was made for the remainder of the balance of the loan, the repossession cost and title in the amount of {$25000.00} and they received it. The full payment for the title as they requested on XX/XX/XXXX was met. Payment was sent in a timely fashion and HONDA has dishonored the agreement.

Complaint: Had a XXXX XXXX that I wanted to trade in, got a deal approved on a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was told originally that I would get {$12000.00} on my trade, well, come to find out, that did not happen, I did not get XXXX XXXX, but, a XXXX XXXX.Also, it was a lease in which they put me into a almost $ 700 monthly payment, this was not noticed until after a two days of having the loan. The dealer added gap insurance in my paperwork in which I did not agree upon, they also added {$400.00} for floor mats in which I never agreed to pay for, the sales representative XXXX stated that mats would be installed at no charge, found out later, they charged me for these mats. My payments were to be no more than {$400.00} per month, a month later, I get a bill that states my payments are at {$670.00} per month, and this is supposed to be for a lease on a very basic low end XXXX XXXX? I felt that I was unfairly treated here at this dealership in such a bad way. This does not include the fact that I never made a first month payment on the lease, I reached out to Honda financial and explained my issues to them, this went on for about six weeks, I kept getting the run a rounds, they asked me to call back to the dealer, well, Honda Financial did not want to help, after the sixth week, I had a lawyer look at the lease documents, the lease was reviewed and dependencies were found, first, I XXXX, Never made a first payment, America Honda Financial stated that I made first payment, this was in fact not true, I explained to Honda that I wanted out of this lease as it was still within its first month, My lawyer explained to me that I needed to call Honda Financial back about this and let them know how I was mistreated and given unfair lease, explain to them that due to the fact that I personally never made the first payment, it was my right to cancel this lease due to it being invalid or having several discrepancies, I personally done all of this, Honda then was willing to seize my credit, because I never made payment and refused to make any payments, or it could be my responsibility, so, the supervisor after 6 weeks of discussions back and forth with Honda Financial and XXXX XXXX XXXX, the supervisor was willing to assist because of the fact that I never made any first payments, or any other payments to the Honda Financial, they sent me an affidavit, because they stated that first month payment was made by the dealer, I never knew this, I never agreed to allow dealer to make any payments on my behalf, this was infact considered fraud by the dealer, well, I went to the police department to file a complaint against the dealer, however, the officer stated to me that it was a civil matter, this was then noted back to Honda Financial, Honda Financial then changed there whole tune and said that I needed to start voluntarily repossession, this was injustice by the bank and by the dealer, So, I did start the process to avoid criminal or civil issues, well, it was then reported to my credit as a involuntarily repossession, which is not accurate, the amount in which was stated owed on the report was far obsessive and also incorrect, I have filed a dispute with the beurea of credit, Honda Financial then sends a letter back stating that they refuse to investigate and that the claim would be closed. This is also unfair, this company has done nothing to help me, but, instead, sends it to collections, my credit reports, and with no other documentation before sending it to these companies. These issues in which occurred started not more than two days after getting vehicle, American Honda Finance has numerous calls and notes from the issues I have had and what the was supposed to happen. All of my calls are recorded and can be obtained from Honda Financial.
They only gave me {$8000.00} on my XXXX XXXX and sold it a week later for {$16000.00}.
Never again will I deal with this dealership XXXX or Honda Financial.This will also be posted in Honda pissed consumer website, XXXX and State Attorneys office.

How can they update currently late when the loan is paid off!? When I call them they just transfer me around and say that they can not see the late or why because the account is so old.

Complaint: I purchased a car and used America Honda Finance to finance the car. I had made all of my car payments on time when I had a catastrophic accident in where my car was totaled. My insurance company paid America Honda Finance the balance owed on the car at the time of the accident in where the insurance company totaled out my car. I then got a collection letter from a third party notifying me that my account with America Honda Finance was delinquent and I needed to make payment arrangements on said account. Once I was notified of this I contacted America Honda Finance to have this issue addressed and to verify they had received payment of the balance owed from my insurance company at which time they confirmed they had. Once this was done I was told that I would have no more issues. I recently checked my credit report and found this not to be the case at which point I sent letters to each perspective bureau and one to America Honda Finance. After 45 days America Honda Finance hadn't responded to this issue and the two credit bureaus stated their investigation showed as completed and that I indeed owed the amount in which was reflected on my credit reports which is simply untrue. I am looking for your assistance in this matter. I have attached all the necessary items needed to clarify this most important of situations.

Complaint: ON XX/XX/XXXX, A HARD INQUIRY WAS MADE BY HONDA FINANCIAL SERVICES ON MY CREDIT REPORT. I DID NOT MAKE THIS INQUIRY NOR DID I AUTHORIZE ANYONE ELSE TO MAKE THIS INQUIRY. XXXX XXXX IN XXXX XXXX, MS WAS WHERE THIS INQUIRY TOOK PLACE. I SPOKE WITH GENERAL MANAGER AND THE FINANCE MANAGER AND BOTH AGREED TO HAVE IT IT REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT REPORT. ONE MONTH LATER IT WAS STILL THERE. I CONTACTED BOTH OF THEM AGAIN AND WAS INFORMED THAT ONLY HONDA FINANCIAL SERVICES COULD REMOVE IT, NOT THE DEALERSHIP. THEY GAVE ME A CONTACT NAME AND NUMBER. Complaint: I have an auto lease from Honda Financial. Honda Financial reports 2 late payments in my credit reports. I contacted Honda Financial on XX/XX/XXXX and provided my bank 's routing number and account number and requested from Honda Financial to have my account with them on auto pay ( I wanted every month my {$270.00} car payment to be electronically debited from my checking account, so I will never have any missed payments ). Honda Financial representative advised me over the phone that she will set up an AUTO PAY for me. So my first payment was automatically debited from my checking account by Honda Financial after 2 days on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I am leaving the country for 3 months. I came back in to US on XX/XX/XXXX and checked my accounts to see if all the payments went through. I noticed that Honda Financial did not withdraw my 3 months payments. I immediately checked my credit reports and noticed that Honda Financial reported 3 late payments on my account for none payments. I contacted to Honda Financial immediately and I was advised they did not receive my payments. Now Honda Financial refuses to report to credit bureaus that the information they have reported is done by Honda Financial 's mistake. I was on AUTO PAY and Honda Financial did not debit my monthly payments as agreed on XX/XX/XXXX.
Honda Financial 's mistake damages my true credit worthiness.
