Complaint: This is a continuous saga that must be understood since it has much complexity ... Submitted now to XXXX XXXX XXXX Complaint Number XXXX. ID FOR COMPLAINT SENT TO XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Bank and XXXX XXXX Bank have defrauded my AMEX Account of {$340000.00} and confirmed by Ms. XXXX and I was defrauded by XXXX XXXX XXXX of {$140000.00} by having these monies crawled back stating unauthorized. This will be proven that both banks have insider people at the banks relinquishing individuals accounts as stated by XXXX XXXX who admitted on a recorded call since I am in New York and this perpetrator has now blocked my calls from further engagement after acknowledging same. I am sure the FBI or any federal agency can track this down and question him and his phone number XXXX as was previously identified in my Summary of Deposit Returns enclosed. XXXX XXXX with the help of XXXX XXXX without my knowledge enrolled an account from XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$140000.00} on XX/XX/2018 with Account No XXXX being the last 4 digits with confirmation code XXXX.to pay me my monies that was owed to me. They paid my monies only to show the money and then pulled the money back. I was unaware of the circumstances but in the past several weeks having to speak to XXXX who now has been sentenced to Securities Fraud and trying to still befriend him so perhaps he would make restitution on this. He then either got scarred but now I was able to communicate with XXXX XXXX which as stated above was recorded. What was extracted from these conversations and shared with XXXX XXXX from AMEX, is that they have business partners in these banks to perpetuate various bank crimes I am now bringing in XXXX XXXX XXXX into this alleged scam since this appears to be a conspiracy that now includes XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX and AMEX. This shows that the banks security has been breached by insiders at the bank and XXXX XXXX had stated they have business partners within these banks that give them individual bank information and that is how they paid me my monies that are due me. Perhaps this is also money laundering. They enrolled several bank accounts on my AMEX Account to pull down money from those accounts and put on my AMEX account to pay me back for monies that are due and owed to me and my corporations. With XXXX XXXX there was a third-party verification, however with XXXX XXXX XXXX they just enrolled and then pulled back the money after showing that the monies were there. With XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX told me that XXXX XXXX had instructed him to return the monies to XXXX XXXX. Mr. XXXX XXXX has been charged with Cryptocurrency fraud by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission. As explained by XXXX XXXX they have business partners in the banks that provide this information on various bank accounts. This is ILLEGAL. They have paid monies that are owed and due me with stolen money from other peoples bank accounts. They owe me this money and now have used stolen monies as far as I understand this and by defrauding the bank and me the banks have errors and omission insurance to make restitution to me. This is FRAUD and I am a consumer should not be responsible in any way due to banking rules and regulations. Also, now that this is not an isolated situation but now has happened with two banks of XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX in addition to fraudulent documents that were submitted to AMEX this is a complete SCAM. I expect that XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and AMEX will all collaborate on this and return monies back to my account for rightful debt that is owed me and that a Crime investigation should take place on how these banks are being defrauded internally by their own personnel. As a physician, I do not think you want me to go to the media and expose this that these banks have inside people in their banks robbing their clients monies. With XXXX bank after third party verification was performed and acknowledged on two separate occasion 10 days later the monies were crawled back stating unauthorized transaction MS. XXXX as stated above whom I spoke with acknowledged that she would make full restitution with AMEX on the phone. However, even though this is still an on-going investigation, XXXX is and will be found responsible for complete payment of XXXX. Subsequently, now that I have researched this further and XXXX XXXX acknowledged that this is happening in all of these banks, this is a conspiracy to defraud the banking system and therefore their various account holders. I am not an account holder at XXXX or XXXX XXXX XXXX and these crimes were cybercrimes. I insist on all my monies back and will do everything in my power, go to the FBI, Banking authorities, media etc. to exploit and educate the consumers about the fraud taking place at these banks. IF my monies are not returned to me, I will take this to a higher level.

Complaint: I opened my Amex business platinum and personal platinum card end of XXXX. All was going well, I received my XXXX sign up points, as I hit the correct threshold and earned them. Amex on XX/XX/XXXX sent me an email saying they are taking away XXXX points. I called and they said bed. I downgraded within 6 months I lose them. AN Absolutely MADE UP TERM. Was not written anything close to that in my terms!!!! They changed terms for new card Applicants in early XX/XX/2018 but that is 45 days after my terms were already in place!!!! They are no help on the phone Apologizing for the mistake and saying there is nothing they could do ... ... They stole my XXXX sign up bonus points between both accounts!!!!!

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to book a flight with Delta on delta.com. Delta runs a credit card promotion with American Express, which advertised that I could receive {$200.00} off my flight if I applied for the account. I did apply, and was a approved. The {$200.00} credit was not applied to my statement. I called Delta, and they directed me to American Express indicating that they would give me a temporary account number to purchase the flight, and the promotional rate would be applied to the card statement. Delta then transferred me to the Amex customer service, where they claimed that since this was a new account that I would not be able to access or close the account until the next business day. This is a clear bait and switch promotion, and is extremely frustrating to deal with.

Complaint: I applied XXXX XXXX American Express Card in XX/XX/2018 and got approval from American Express. According to the term and conditions of the card, I would get XXXX XXXX XXXX Bonus Points after I spend {$1000.00} in the first 3 months of Card Membership starting from the date my account is approved. However, I was denied to be offered the XXXX XXXX XXXX Bonus Points after I spent over {$1000.00} within the first 3 months. I was told that it was because I applied the card before. But, in the promotion, the program did NOT indicate that applicants who had the XXXX XXXX American Express Card before disqualified the Bonus Points. I was told when I called American Express Cards to complaint that the requirement that applicants who should not have the XXXX XXXX American Express Card before to receive the Bonus Points was in small print, which people would normally not be aware of. I think there would be many people like me who spent over {$1000.00} on the card within the first 3 months and was denied to be offered the Bonus Points. I spent the money on the Card, but I did not got what I supposed to get. The Company is misleading and cheating consumers.

Complaint: MY FIRST COMPLAINT IS ABOUT THE AMERICAN EXPRESS CHARGE CARD THAT I HAVE. I WAS TOLD THAT I DO NOT HAVE A FIXED LIMIT BUT EVERY TIME THEY REPORT MY BALANCE, THEY DO NOT REPORT THE TOTAL BALANCE THAT I HAVE PAID OFF. I PAY THEM EVERY MONTH IN FULL. THERE IS NO WAY I CAN NOT PAY AND STILL HAVE THE ACCOUNT. WHY THEN IS IT THAT EVERY MONTH THEY FAIL TO REPORT TO CREDIT BUREAU THAT THE ACCOUNT WAS IN GOOD STANDING AND FULLY PAID OUT? THEY KEEP REPORTING LIKE I OWE THEM. AS AT TODAY I HAVE PAID EVERYTHING IN FULL, WHY DO I NOT GET CREDIT FOR MY PAYMENTS. XXXX AND OTHERS CONTINUE TO REPORT THE TOTAL AS PART OF MY BALANCE, MAKING MY BALANCE TO JUMP UP AND THEN MY TOTAL UTILIZATION SKYROCKETS PUTTING ME AT A VERY LOW LEVEL IN CREDIT WORTHINESS AND AS A RISK. I HAVE HAD THE AMEX ACCOUNT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND HAVE BEEN PAYING IT CONTINUOUSLY THEY NEED TO REPORT THAT. THEY NEED TO STOP MAKING IT LOOK LIKE I DO NOT PAY BILLS, EVER! THIS REPORT BY XXXX WAS INACCURATE AND I HAVE MADE A COMPLAINT SEPARATELY ABOUT THE EFFECT OF THIS INACCURATE REPORTING TO SEE THAT THEY CAN AMEND IT, BUT THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED. THE HARMFUL EFFECT OF THIS ACTION WAS THAT AMEX NOW USED THAT INCORRECT REPORT TO DOWNGRADE MY AMEX CHARGE CARD WHICH I VEHEMENTLY DISPUTED, BUT AMEX AND XXXX HAVE REFUSED TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER ON THIS MATTER AND CORRECT THE WRONGFUL INFORMATION WHICH WAS BASED ON A DELINQUENCY BY A MERCHANT- XXXX XXXX XXXX. THIS ERROR HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT REPORT, BUT AMEX CONTINUES TO USE THIS INFORMATION TO DOWNGRADE MY ACCOUNT PRIVILEGES. IN ONE INSTANCE IN XXXX, I REQUESTED TO PAY A BALANCE OF ABOUT {$200.00} THE NEXT WEEK AND I ASKED IF THIS WAS OKAY, THE AGENT TOLD ME BECAUSE OF MY EXCELLENT PAYMENT HISTORY THAT IT IS FINE, TO MY SHOCK, WITHIN A FEW DAYS, IN FACT RIGHT BEFORE I PAID THAT BALANCE, THEY HAVE ADDED THAT I MISSED A PAYMENT AND THAT I WAS NOT FULFILLING MY DEBT OBLIGATION AND SO MUCH MORE, AND SENT OUT THIS INFORMATION AS IF THEY DID NOT SEE THAT I ASKED THEM IF IT WAS OKAY OR NOT AND THAT I COULD PAY IT ANYHOW, AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS FINE BY THEIR STAFF MEMBER. THE QUESTION IS, DID THIS STAFF MISREPRESENTED THE INFORMATION? DID HE LIE TO ME? DID HE DO WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO BUT THE INTERNAL REPORTING SYSTEM WAS NOT EFFICIENT? THIS IS IRRESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SHOULD STOP. THEY NEED TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WHO ARE IN GOOD STANDING WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT. MY SECOND COMPLAINT IS THAT AMEX HAS REFUSED TO INCREASE MY CREDIT LIMIT DESPITE MY EXCELLENT PAYMENT HISTORY EVEN IN MY CREDIT REPORT. THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF GOOD USE OF THE CHARGE CARD AND OTHER CARDS BUT THEY HAVE NOT DONE SO. INSTEAD, THEY DECREASED MY LIMIT ON THE CHARGE CARD LAST MONTH FOR A FLIMSY EXCUSE WHICH I DETAILED ABOVE.

Complaint: To whom it may concern, I have been in dispute with American Express Serve for the last 8 months over a charge that they keep placing it in my dispute, I did not put that on the original form, " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$10.00}. '' By them doing this they keep denying my dispute claim for the money that I lost over the XXXX season in XX/XX/2017. I sent this dispute to you before and due to my own negligence I did not notice the discrepancy in the total amount for the dispute charge. After going over my records again and going over my original dispute charge and looking at past emails I found where the issue had laid. The total amount was {$1800.00}, that I lost on XX/XX/XXXX. American Express says that it was {$1800.00}. That is incorrect because they keep adding {$10.00} from the XXXX charge, where I lost the card. I didn't understand the miscommunication that I was having with American Express, especially since I also put in a police report stating that my last transaction that I made was at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also sent them a copy of the police report to help clarify the situation. Again they denied my claim.

Complaint: On my card ending in XXXX american express deducted XXXX membership reward points. When I called in on XX/XX/2018 I was told the reason for this is because I downgraded a card I earned a bonus welcome offer. They did not tell me this when I downgraded. Also, when I called in the supervisor was not able to show me any terms that mention this specifically. After speaking with a supervisor for about a half hour all the supervisor was able to come up with is that the terms specify they have a right to remove the points if " you have engaged in abuse, misuse '' All I did was change my card to a blue card. Changing a card is a standard procedure. The rep that changed the card didnt mention that changing cards is abuse. Also, they took back the points about 2 month after the points was used leaving me with a negative balance. What kind of decency to after using the points to come up with reason to remove the points. If they felt this was abuse they should have removed the points right away.

Complaint: Dear CFPB- I believe American Express is involved in an alleged World-Wide Consumer Fraud ... I have been a card member of American Express Optima Platinum since XXXX and have a perfect credit score. On XX/XX/XXXX I was late by ONE DAY and charged {$27.00}. While I am not disputing the late fee, I am disputing the interest rate on future charges ( purchase ). All charges ( purchases ) after XX/XX/XXXX were billed at 29.99 %. Under the American Express Terms & Conditions, no reference is made for this increase on future charges ( purchases ), as indicated below : " Late Fees on Credit Cards and Charge Cards : If you do not pay your minimum payment by the due date, you will be charged a late payment fee of {$27.00}. If you make another late payment in the following six billing periods, your late payment fee will be {$38.00}. Your late fee will not exceed your minimum payment due. For example, if the minimum payment due on your statement is {$20.00}, your late payment fee will not be more than {$20.00}. You may also have to pay interest on any funds which remain unpaid from the previous billing period and your interest rate may increase. '' Furthermore, American Express claims that all payments are first credited to the higher interest charges. This is a false statement and represents Fraud! From " XX/XX/XXXX to Present '' I had {$5700.00} charges ( purchases ) and made {$9800.00} in payments. Yet, American Express continued to charge me the 29.99 % on these charges ( purchase ) even though my payments exceeded the charges ( purchases ) ... Complaint: American Express XXXX XXXX I called American Express and explain I had fraud on my account and because I was not paying the account because of the fraud I was waiting for the police report. They close my 2 account and took me to court and list my account in the credit bureaus as a negatively charge off. This charge is all fraudulent, but they would not answer or return any of my calls. I was with this company since XX/XX/2001 never late had no problems always paid on time. I need these charges remove of account and restored my account to full balance. The contract signed states Im not to be held reliable for fraudulent charges. Please provided a clear explanation and evidence of your decision. This account became fraudulent when my spouse that worked for XXXX XXXX past the same day my father past. I could not cope by myself in XXXX, so I move to XXXX XXXX to be close to family for support. My house in XXXX was broken into and the police contracted me to let me know of the situation a lot was stolen including my identity among things. DMV have informed me that there are 2 other individuals in XXXX XXXX has a copy of my Driver License. I have requested a copy of the information from DMV so that I can provide it to the bureaus, and I was told that it is against the law for them to provide me a copy of the information all the can do is informed me of the issue. They however stated that the company can request a copy of the information and they will send it to them directly.

American Express did not increase my interest rate until XX/XX/2018 however, these XXXX 's backed-dated the higher interest increase to my XX/XX/2018 statement. Trying to squeeze out every extra dollar they can. 2. American Express also claimed my interest rate was increased due to a large returned payment in XX/XX/2018. This returned payment was part of a fraud claim I reported. In other words, that payment was not by me or from any of my accounts and AMEX own investigation came to the same conclusion as all charges and fees where credited back to me,.

Complaint: I made a payment via the internet to my American Express account through Bank Acct A. I realized there were not the required funds in Bank Account A so I wanted to switch the payment to Bank Account B. American Express would not allow me to do that and as a result the payment did not go through. I called on the phone and made the payment in full with Bank Account B but AMEX still insisted on not canceling the payment to Bank Account A even though I made the Payment with Bank Account B. They stated numerous times it had to be submitted 3 times then they would cancel the payment. This is an unacceptable business practice and most likely illegal. The result is 3 returned payment requests and 3 NSF Fees to Bank account A.

Complaint: American Express keep allowing someone to cancel and send my credit card to another address in another state. I have set up passwords, 4 digits codes, changed my email address like they requested and still they allow someone to send a card to another state. I talk to someone on Monday XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/2018 about this problem and they still allow this to happen. The only answer I get from this company is that they are sorry and they are working on the problem.

Complaint: I just received a notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, a debt collector of American Express. This communication is to dispute owed of {$5700.00} from American Express. My card was used without my permission by my ex husband and charges were incurred by him and other persons. I have always paid my debt timely and American Express refused to take disputed charges off. As a result, my credit has been impacted and the debt was charged off and they refused to even file a claim. AMEX behavior violates consumer protection laws and the law firm is engaging in predatory debt collection practices. This is ridiculous, I want this deft off my credit ASAP. SO THIS IS MY FORMAL DISPUTE WITHIN 30 days.
