Complaint: On XXXX XXXX , XXXX I filed an unauthorized dispute for transaction XXXX on my CC. This transaction occurred at a gas station on the West coast. I live in the Midwest and have not used that card on the West coast ever. Their fraud models missed the clearly inconsistent activity of this card use. Although my account is completely services online, I was sent a physical letter requesting additional confirmation from me that the transaction was unauthorized. The letter required me to check a box and sign it. Then mail, fax, or drop off a copy of the letter at a branch. I called into the customer service center to verbally report the unauthorized transaction on XXXX XXXX , XXXX , and I was once again told I would need to do this additional step to report the transaction. Considering all other aspects of the account are serviced online, this additional physical letter requirement to file a dispute, appears to be an intentional deterrent to filing a dispute. The entire dispute process should be able to be done online.

Complaint: Wells Fargo co ntinues to allow fradulent transactions to occur with my credit card account. I have not authorized a purchase from my secured credit card account since XXXX . In fact, after requesting a new card in XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX , I have not used this account at all except to add a {$20.00} credit online. Although I have not used this credit card account, I now have two ne w charges from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OK for { $130.00} on XXXX XXXX and another charge from the same company for {$82.00}. It is important to note here that I HAVE NOT DONE BUSINESS WITH XXXX IN NEARLY TWO YE AR AND I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH XXXX IN XXXX XXXX SO THIS CHARGE IS UNAUTHORIZED, FRAUDULENT, AND BOTH WELLS FA RGO A ND XXXX ARE NOW PREJUDICING MY RIGHTS AND I INTEND TO SUE IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED WITHIN 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS COMPLAINT I actually noticed the {$82.00} charge not even a week after Wells Fargo r esolved my last CFPB and transaction dispute complaints. This previous dispute with XXXX XXXX took over 2 months to resolve, so you ca n imagine my frustration that just days after my funds were returned to my account I received a new unauthorized charge from XXXX in XXXX XXXX for {$82.00}. Instead of working quickly and diligently to resolve this new unauthorized charge, at leas t two different Wells Fargo agen ts harassed me to pay my bill to reduce my balance. I informed them that I did not feel comfortable paying the bill until these disputes were taking care of because my account was already overdrawn as a result of these unauthorized fraudulent charges. Under duress, I finally decided to transfer {$20.00} to my credit card account from my checking account becaus e I was afraid Wells Fargo would begin negatively reporting to my credit profile. I was afraid of this because this is what one of the Wells Fargo agents told me. To comply with his harassing orders, I submitted th is {$20.00} payment from my checking to my credit card on XXXX XXXX XXXX . It was my hope that this would kee p Wells Fargo from adding negative remarks to my credit profile. I was uncomfortable making this payment, again, because my account would still be overdrawn because of this new fraudulent transaction. Wells Fargo re versed this {$82.00} charge and then added the UNAUTHORIZED AND FRAUDULENT charge back to my account as if I never filed the dispute. When I checked on the status of this dispute, I was told that XXXX , the company, still has n't responded so the dispute is still pending . Wells Fargo has completely ignored my testimony that I HAVE NOT DONE BUSINESS WITH XXXX IN NEARLY TWO YEAR AND I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH XXXX IN XXXX XXXX SO THIS CHARGE IS UNAUTHORIZED, FRAUDULENT, AND BOTH WELLS FARGO AND XXXX ARE NOW PREJUDICING MY RIGHTS AND I INTEND TO SUE IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED WITHIN 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS COMPLAINT Even more recently, I have noticed that Wells Fargo ha s allowed yet another UNAUTHORIZED AND FRAUDULENT charge to post to my account. We won the case with unemployment but it took nine weeks to get any money due. We have hired a lawyer for the wrongful firing of his job but we are in foreclosure because we had no income for my husband, he was also hospitalized for a month during this time.we have tried everything, working a hu d specialist but Wells Fargo will not w ork with us. Complaint: I am trying to work with Wells Fargo on a short sale process, I have a buyer and we are attempting to negotiate an agreed upon value to move toward scheduling a closing date. This is all being pursued with a pending Foreclosu re Sale Dat e of XXXX / XXXX /2017. The first complaint is an unwillingne ss of Wells Fargo to adjust the pending foreclosure sale date in order to allow proper negotiation in good faith. The second complaint is a general lack of cooperation by Wells Fargo in negotiating an agreed sale price in good faith. I have a buyer, an offer and counter offer has been submitted alone with pictures and estimates of work that would need to be done on the property which supports the counter offer. It has taken nearly three weeks to get a response from Wells Fargo. The original offer was {$990000.00}, Wells Fargo countered with {>= $1,000,000} and then my buyer countered with {>= $1,000,000} along with the documentation of work to be done, supporting that price. They are now saying the " valuation dispute '' has been denied but the {>= $1,000,000 } may s till be accepted??? and they want to know if that is our final offer. This makes no sense as the " valuation dispute '' and " the counter offer '' are XXXX in the same. A continuation of years of struggling with how Wells Fargo operates and the lack of sincere intere st in reaching resolution. It should be noted that this short sale effort is being pursued only after a VERY lengthy and painful process of struggling to work wit h Wells Fargo over MANY years. This long and troubling process is related to previous concerns about the underlying documentation of this mortgage. This is a WELLS FARGO MORTGAGE BACKED SECURITY LOAN which has numerous issues associated with it 's history and the mortgages proper conveyance. Such as issues relating to the need of mortgage loans to be transferred to a related trust within 90 days from closing and other subsequent transfers which cause the validity of the underlying mortgage to be questioned. In an effort to move on from this concern, due to an ongoing divorce proceeding, the short sale process has been embraced. At this point in time that process has developed into a new and troubling concern. Please advise.

The money is from a insurance claim for damages to our home. We waited for the funds to become available before contacting the company to fix our roof. We were told that there was an error and that the funds could not be giving to us because the check was not properly endorsed. So I asked why did the check get process and the funds show available in the account if they knew it was an error? The lead of the teller whom would not give us her name when asked she blamed the ATM for the error but I kept asking whatever who ever the error why was the check process and funds made available if it was an error. The tell kept repeating the same issue. She then accused my wife and I of trying this at another Wells Farg XXXX bank and was trying it again to try and withdraw the funds. I insure the tell that this was not the case. We needed to withdraw funds that show available in my wife 's savings account to pay the roofers. They told us to contact our insurance company ( who is thru Wells Fargo ) and get a let ter for them authorizing release of funds. My wife and I understand the reason but want to know why the would process a check if they knew it was in error?

Complaint: I am in repayment for a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy and part of that was approximately {$6500.00} that i was in arrears wi th Wells Fargo. Du ring my current Chapter XXXX , Wells Fargo o ffered a loan modification that would lower my mortgage but also role the {$6500.00} back into the mortgage bringing me back to a fresh start with them. During the modification process in XXXX of XXXX , my specialist gave me the new amount to start paying XXXX {$1900.00 } ), t hen again in XXXX i received a lower amount of {$1800.00} which i have been paying ever since. In XXXX , the modification was done and that should have also been the end of XXXX XXXX 's relationship with my Chapter XXXX Trustee. I received updated Mortgage statements throughout, see attached. The last XXXX statement dated XXXX / XXXX / XXXX shows me current with a due date of XXXX / XXXX / XXXX for the next payment. On XXXX XXXX Wells Fargo r eceived my payment of {$1800.00} and that is reflected on the statement that was printed same day. The XXXX XXXX statement shows me current with a due date of XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . Believing i am now one month ahead since any money from my Chapter XXXX that was in the Unapplied Funds Balance has n ow been applied at the closing of my modification, i logged into my online account and noticed something very different. Upon logging into XXXX XXXX , it showed my XXXX XXXX payment, but is said that in need to pay {$3700.00} in order to be current and that the payment due was XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . I c all Wells Fargo on XXXX XXXX and the rep can not help me, i then speak to XXXX in the Home Affordable Department, she can not help me and sends me to XXXX in the bankruptcy department. XXXX says that she does n't know what happened but i am behind. Since she offered up no explanation i asked for a supervisor. I spoke with XXXX XXXX at XXXX . She did not understand what happened but she said that my XXXX XXXX payment for some reason had {$190.00} moved to the Unapplied Funds, and since my payment was now not a full payment, it was never applied to my account. She could not explain why the paper statements showed me ahead, but she then asked if i received the check for {$2000.00}, i said no. She then realized that it was sent to the trustee for my Chapter XXXX , XXXX XXXX . That same amount is what my Unapplied Funds balance showed on the XXXX XXXX statement but was then down to {$190.00} on the XXXX XXXX statement the next day. The concern is that no where on my XXXX statement does it show that mone y ( {$2000.00} ) ap plied since it was sent to the trustee for reasons that XXXX XXXX ca n't explain, and no where does it show what happened to the rest of my XXXX XXXX payment other than the fact that they took {$190.00} out for again, some unknown reason. XXXX XXXX was supposed to do some digging and get back to me later in the day with information, she was also supposed to reach out to the trustee. I have now called XXXX XXXX three times last week and have not received any follow-up information. I should also mention that when XXXX XXXX decided to move money out of my payment, i was never contacted that they were doing this and that i would end up behind. I would like to know why the money in the Unapplied funds was not put towards the mortgage and but rather sent to the trustee. I would also like to know after taking the {$190.00} from my XXXX payment of {$1800.00}, what happened to the rest of it ( XXXX )?

Complaint: I have a private student wi th Wells Fargo the payment is not affordable for me or my cosigner. We have applied for everything possible to help lower the payments. I have called on a number of occasions and have been given the run around or just left to dry. Basically they told me I should just live in a box but make sure I still make my payments. I applied for the programs offered at least three times with no h elp I even filed a complaint with corporate and nothing help. I so overwhelmed and I feel like completely giving up.

Complaint: Wells Fargo will not provide a payoff on the reverse mortgage unless I am the appointed representative of the deceased. But I am the brother of the deceased and can not afford the cost of becoming the representative when my POS brother had no assists. the deed to the home is already in my name as right to survivorship. The reversed mortgage was taken out in secrete and before my half ownership was added to the property. Wells Fargos are XXXX . Why are they discriminative? Who the XXXX gives a XXXX who pays off their XXXX loans. The POS deceased is dead already. As long as the note is paid that reverse mortgage should be closed!!! The amount of XXXX is acceptable as of the last statement XXXX XXXX , XXXX . There is no law indicating that I have to become the personal representative of my brother when he had no assists. It is idiotic and selfish o f Wells Fargo to impose such requirements to pay off a note absolutely ludicrous they care about no one but themselves. Wells Fargo is a piece of XXXX financial institution that i hope goes to XXXX .
