Complaint: During my trial period of a loan modification, I have tried multiple times via email and fax, to reach out to the bank with questions/help regarding the modification. I have received no feedback or responses to my emails or faxes. They specifically asked for a certain document to be filled out and I faxed that document to the bank and two months later, they 're telling me that is not the right document the bank has asked for. I feel as if I have done everything they have asked me to do but yet, I get no response.

Complaint: An insurance check from XXXX XXXX county XXXX XXXX XXXX was addressed and issued to the Insured policy owner and the busines s ( auto body shop ) for repairs on our vehicle created by an accident. A claim was made to the insurance company ; therefore a check was issued and the ins urance adjuster hand delivered the check to the owner of the body shop and t he che ck was Payable to : the insurance policy owner and the body shop XX/XX/XXXX . The owner of the body shop took the Check to Wells Fargo Bank on XX/XX/XXXX a nd the teller directly deposited the check WITHOUT the Insurance Policy Ow ner 's signature. I received a copy of the check from t he Insurance Co. and no signatures were on back of the check. On the back of the Check it states : Personal Endorsement of Each Payee Required ENDORSEE : Please endorse check exactly as your name appears on the face. THEN it was stamped by Wells Fargo " CR EDITED TO THE ACCOUNT OF WITHIN NAMED PAYEE ''. The amount of the check is twice of the quote given to us for repairs ; therefore, this money was stolen and falsified. Therefore, I am filing a complaint against Wells Fargo on a llowing funds illegally to be deposited to t his body shops account without Consent. No Consent form was signed nor do we have any invoices on the body work done to the vehicle. Requesting the difference of the amount quoted to us for the body work done. A verbal quote from the body shop was {$2100.00} and the check was written for {$4800.00} due to the lack of responsibility on Wells Fargo Bank allo wing this individual to take money without our consent and due to the nature of this claim our insurance premiums went up.

Cashing a check
Complaint: A bill pay check for {$310.00} was sent to Wells Fargo on XXXX against a closed account, and cashed by them on XXXX . This was sent accidentally, as I have a valid car loan contract with them and the check was meant for that ( second check was already issued for that ). I believed since the account was closed, Wells Fargo would act in good faith and not cash it. I called wells Fargo as soon as I discovered this and was told it would be refunded within two days. After a week with no refund/correspondence I had a conference call with my bank ( who issued the bill pay check ) and Wells Fargo who assured me this would be refunded within a week. It 's now two weeks later, and 3 weeks since this has begun. Wells Fargo is conducting radio silence, and every time I call, I 'm told they will look into this. As they promised resolution ( on tape ... I recorded the conference call ) and have not honored their word, contract, and to be honest stopped stealin g ( took money, nowhere to allocate it to, promised to reimburse ... now ignoring follow up requests ), w hat can you do against this theft/bank fraud?

Problem accessing account
Complaint: Recently I came across two XXXX Certificates of Deposit ( {$80000.00} ea. ) in the family safe deposit box. I contacted Wells Fargo Bank on XX/XX/XXXX, provided requested information and they opened an Investigative Case, No. XXXX. Wells Fargo has responded to me on several occasions regarding this case with supposition and conjecture but provided nothing regarding the disposition of the CD 's or the funds. All that they have told me is that they keep inadequate records for older CD 's. I have checked Unclaimed Property with the State of California and found nothing. I want Wells Fargo to show me proof for the disposition of these CD 's. I will not accept assumptions or the conjecture that they have thus far provided. I would also like CFPB to stop the unreasonable delays and superfluous correspondence that Wells Fargo has been perpetrating on me in this matter.

Problem using a debit or ATM card
Complaint: Wells Fargo is trying to cause problems with accurate transfer frim my savings to checking account. The reason b eing they would not give my XXXX year old a seperate acct possibly be a teen account to have her direct deposit checks. I am ok with that but if I transfer money her account to mines Wells Fargo will not pu t the money in my account or they will take money out. The purpose is to confuse our account so I will pay overdraft fees. In my checking alone dealing with debiting my account to pay bill they are using her account last XXXX and my account last XXXX to confuse the XXXX . Also my daughter they place overdraft protectuon on my our account without my permission. Giving her a debit card . Wells far go caused my waterbill to not be paid in a timely fashiion. I am XXXX and on a fix income which they know for years. Every Adult know this is a serious problem they are being malicious I hope your office take this with respect and stop this matter ASAP. This is another scam to recamp their lost. Since XXXX XXXX , 2017-current they have change several of my date of transaction . Wells fargo will not let us see our full account including the cash amount so we will not see our tr anaction nor will they allow us to dispute transaction on line and will not let us see the full site to get our account summary.

Problem with customer service
Complaint: I have a student loan with Wells Fargo Education services. Instead of them calling me only - they have been reaching out to people who have NO association with my loan. In fact, the people they are calling - the only way they could have gotten their information is by XXXX people with similar last names. My aunt recieved a call asking for me to collect a debt. She is not a co - signer, not a reference she has absolutley no association with the loan what so ever. I have no idea how they got her phone number, the only thing I can think of is that they XXXX my last name and found people in the area to call and try and get a hold of. Extreme harrassment. When I confronted them about the situation they said " we must have dialed the wrong number ... ''. Even though her number again, is not on any account I have with Wells Fargo. They claimed she was put on the do not call list, but there was no reason for her to be called in the first place.
