Complaint: After years of paying this account now the payments are being applied to interest most of the time and this is different from previously.
Also, recently I was issued an insurance check by my insurance company for hail and wind damage ( see attached check ). Wells Fargo asked me to mail the check to them. The first time I sent the check I did not endorse it but sent it overnight express. This was in XXXX 2017. Wells Fargo sent the check back to in regular mail, I endorsed it and sent it back to them express mail overnight again. The check was to me via regular mail, my signature had been stamped Endorsement Cancelled. I thought it was because I had signed twice because I am the POA for my husband nd had to sign as his agent. I deposited the check into an a shared branch of my credit union. The check was put on hold for 7 days. Then I learned it was returned because Wells Fargo had stamped Endorsement Cancelled. When calling Wells Fargo again, about the same check it had been miss-logged and was attached with our other home. Speaking to XXXX I felt as if they did not even believe they had sent the check out a second time. Especially when I asked if they made copies of the front and back of the check. Now they know they made mistakes on the processing of this check which had to be cancelled by the insurance company and reissued. But here I the kicker, Wells Fargo still wanted to hold the new check in an account and issue increments because they were misinformed as to what the claim was truly for. They were working from the standpoint of mold but the check was issued for hail and wind damage. Now we are into over a month of the back and forth with the check and still Wells Fargo Wanted to control the process. It was not until my insurance agent was on the phone and brought out the fact the check was issued for wind and hail that the process was altered. Then Wells Fargo would not allow the check to be issued without their endorsement after all we have been put through on errors made by their staff. This company has taken money from our account, take monthly payments and applying the bulk of the payment to interest versus principle and now this ordeal with the insurance check. They believe after so many errors, they can say you can now take the check into a branch and have them call us and the branch can endorse the check. No one understands how this could have cause us problems because it makes it look as if we were trying to commit fraud because Wells Fargo cancelled our endorsement on the check that was issued by another financial institute issues to my husband and me from premiums paid to our homeowners policy from funds paid by us. I feel it is retaliation because I have filed so many complaints against this company.

Delay in processing application
Complaint: I applied for another credit card from my existing bank where I am a long time and premier customer. The application was submitted XXXX XXXX online and I received email confirmation indicating that my application was received and will be processed. If for whatever reason the application was denied, I would be provided a verbal explanation. If there were no isssues, the card would be sent with in 5-7 bu siness days. On Monday XXXX XXXX , I called the bank inquiring about the card because I received mail about my fico score ( above XXXX ) and I check on my online banking and it shows the new credit card as {$0.00} balance and part of my account summary. Because I had received the credit score notific ation and saw the card on my online banking, I assumed that the card was approved however I had not yet received it, which was concerning. When I called Wells Fargo on XXXX XXXX , I was told that the card was not sent yet but since I a a premier customer it can be shipped to me in 2-days free of charge. I sai d ok. Today I re ceived a XXXX package with the wrong card. They sent me a replacement card from XXXX of my existing credit cards that I did not ask for. I just called Wells Fargo ri ght now, XXXX XXXX , to indicate that the wrong card was sent and that I am greatly concerned about the Visa that I have still yet to receive. She indicated that the card was sent on XXXX XXXX and that the banker I spoke to on XXXX XXXX was incorrect.

Complaint: O n XX/XX/XXXX I an d my husband went into Wells Fargo B ank located at XXXX XXXX XXXX . XXXX XXXX Fl. XXXX we felt we were made a mockery and very much so Discriminated against, as we sat down at her desk i informed her of the type of loan we were inquiring about, which was a ( Unsecured Personal Line Of Credit ), which then she suggested for me to apply for only {$5000.00} Dollars and she stated that that type of loan highest limit was for only {$25000.00} Dollars, so my husband went o n Wells Fargo Bank website on his phone then showed her that the loan has a Minimal of {$3000.00} Dollars and the Maximu m was for {$100000.00} Dollars then she said oh I did n't know that, so she says how much would you like to apply for, in return i told her for {$100000.00} Dollars. So she laughed at us, so when she finished laughing at my reply for {$100000.00} Dollars, my husband ask her what was so funny about the amount my wife mentioned, she in return says I 'm not laughing at you, im laughing with you, which i nor my husband was laughing or found anything to be funny Concerning the amount I applied for. After that As she processed the loan we fouund her to be very Discouraging with certain things she was saying about how I did n't have enough money in my account at the time, and i need to try for a lower amount and that I needed to make at least {$8000.00} Dollars a month in order to be approved for this type of loan. So she submitted the loan and it was Denied Instantly. so i ask her why was i Denied and she said because of my income debt to ratio was 74 % and she told me that I would get a letter in the mail, so the next day I called the Cred it Bureau ( XXXX ) to see w hy my income debt to ratio was so high, when she calculated a 2 % income debt to ratio when she was processing the loan application. XXXX informed me that my credit report was up to date with the right information and that the same credit report that i have, is what 's in there system aswell. So i call ed Wells Fargo Bank loan Department on XX/XX/XXXX to ask why was i denied the day before in the branch, and they said because of my account was not old enough when I specifically inform her when she was processing the loan application that I had my account every since XXXX . I still dont know what information she put on my application, and at this point I really dont know what or who to believe. So Wells Fargo Loan Department informed me that they will resubmit the loan Application, and I did file a complaint with Wells Fargo Bank concerning this incident & her behavior towards us.

Complaint: M y Wells Fargo NB Retail card was closed and the reason is noted as consumer request to close. 1 ) I never requested this account be closed, I was n't notified in writing email or by phone. all my contact information is up to date and no attempts were made to contact me, WF did n't even argue this point. This is totally unprofessional and poor service for customers.
2 ) This misreporting has prevented me from securing student loans.
3 ) My average account length, utilities, used to available credit ratio. The score dropped XXXX points.
4 ) Requested Resolution : The account needs to be reinstated, returning my average age of credit, credit use to limit ratio, number of accounts, and mix of account types to where they were prior to the UNAUTHORIZED closure of my account and the INACCURATE CREDIT REPORTING.

Complaint: On or about XXXX / XXXX / 2015 Wells Fargo Home Mortgage sent {$6800.00} from my reverse mortgage account to the XXXX XXXX XXXX , NY to pay Real Estate Taxes on my Residence at XXXX , XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , NY XXXX This action was WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE This action was WITHOUT MY CONSENT Six ( 6 ) days later ; ON THE DUE DATE ; I paid the same amount.
I subsequently contacted Wells Fargo ; made them aware of the problem and REPAID the sum of {$6800.00} to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
Despite many contacts with this Bank and in the company of the thousands of other Citizens who have had this Bank commit all manner of unauthorized transactions I have not been able to have this matter corrected.
TO THIS DAY, WELLS FARGO CONTINUES TO SHOW THIS DEBIT OF {$6800.00} AGAINST MY ACCOUNT TOGETHER WITH VARIOUS CHARGES WHICH THEY HAVE APPLIED FOR THEIR UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITY.

Complaint: I had saw a advertisement from wells fargo saying that i will get {$150.00} if i open a account with them and i had called to file a complaint with them and see if i can get that offer since the banker who had opened my account never told me about it. Then the customer service ahent said there was nothing they can do and she just transfered me to a supervisor then the supervisor said that the offer i saw on facebook was a invalid offer and that the promotion ended in XXXX . I had a specialist ca ll me and they said that they had a offer of {$250.00} but that ended in XXXX and that they dont have no offers for {$150.00} and that theres nothing they can do and disconnected the line. I have evidence of them putting false promotion and actually telling customers that to call customer service and they will take care of the issue when they really dont do nothing.

Complaint: Went to XXXX ATMs to make a cash deposit but it says it was unavailable. Made a transfer online as a last resort yest, yet got hit with a {$35.00} overdraft. This is definitely a sca m, Wells Fargo finds a way to charge {$35.00} even when deposit is made the same day but they change the date to make it post next day. Wells Fargo does n't give you advance notice so you can cover your account before you get hit with the {$35.00}. They do whatever it takes to overwidraw your account including removing pending transactions and posting them once your account is under the pending amount without a notice to cover it that day. I posted examples on social media and I will post some more very soon

Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit
Complaint: Had a {$2500.00} credit limit and over night with no ch ange in credit score or missing payment or even a late payment ever, I had {$800.00} balance and they changed limit over night, and I have set it up to auto pay my bills. By doing this they have affected my credit score negatively in the most important way because it changes account balance/ to credit limit ratio. This is not fair and it happens all the time with banks of all kinds. They offer you credit and when you use it they lower credit limit to cause credit report to go down and then they can charge a higher rate of interest?
