Complaint: I received a letter in XXXX stating I only had {$3200.00} in flood coverage. I called my insurance agent who sent me and faxed Wells Fargo the declaration page showtime clearly had $ XXXX coverage. I called Wells Fargo to make sure they had what they needed. They said they had it and nothing else needed to be done. I just received another letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that I did n't have enough flood coverage again. I called both mortgage and my insurance agent who uploaded to their system, faxed to them and emailed to me the same declaration page showing we have had coverage the entire time of the loan for the full amount of $ XXXX. I was told to wait 24-48 hrs to make sure they have it. I called today Wells Fargo states they do have it, they also had itXX/XX/XXXX. I asked for something in writing today showing it was all taken care of. I was told yes by 3 people that I could get a fax today saying it was done. I then get the recovery XXXX XXXX XXXX that says I ca n't get this letter today. She said she will open a case # XXXX I asked to speak to XXXX XXXX in her department since he handled the first issue. He was n't available and I was told I could n't hold. I left him a message. I also have the issue that on XX/XX/XXXX {$540.00} was deducted from my escrow for flood gap insurance that they purchased for me. I DID NOT NEED THIS. They had my info showing I was fully covered. On XX/XX/XXXX they refunded partial amount back {$470.00}. There is a {$73.00} difference that they kept. No one can tell me why and I spoke to 4 people today. I was told by the first 3 that the {$73.00} will be fully refunded. Again they wo n't put in in writing for me today. The very next dayXX/XX/XXXX they took out another {$470.00}. Not 1 person today could tell me why. I spoke to 3 people in the insurance department and then XXXX XXXX in Customer Care that was no help, very rude, continued to interupt me and try to over talk me.

Complaint: During the year 2009 we suffered financial hardship when the company my Husband worked for had a major lay off. We had been buying our home for nine years, it was an FHA backed loan. We pleaded with Wells fargo and provided them with all of the many documents and info they requested in order to apply for some type of loan modification on payments in order for us to save our home. There were many phone calls and several of the Bank employees made promises on the phone which were never kept! We had had a history of always making our house payments. We had a young Son still at home during this time and live stock. On XXXX XXXX, 2009 we received notification from Wells fargo Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Iowa XXXX for our loan # XXXX client 708. A letter which stipulates a loan repayment arrangement to help us get back on our feet. Wells Fargo rec ended on their agreement causing us the loss of our home. Locking us out of our home and causing us to loos our personal property. We had to give the livestock away and were displaced having to find rental housing. This property was five acres. We were not allowed back on the property to retrieve or belongings and loss 75 percent of it. I filed a complaint with the Montana consumer protection bureau. Wells Fargo Bank denied doing any wrong. I still maintain that Wells fargo was in fact the catalist for our loosing our home. They were dishonest and offered a plan they did not honor forcing us into Bankruptcy and foreclosure on our home. I attempted to find aid through the FHA and HUD and other entities with no success. I have the documentation of the rec ended agreement I filed a complaint to Wells fargo and I have that paper work.I also have the record of filing to the consumer affairs for Montana.

Complaint: Wells Fargo is now handling my retirement account ; however, when I tried to access the account online it stated that they were unable to process my request online and to call XXXX XXXX. I called that number and was told because I had more than one profiles that I had to go into a local branch. I went into the branch XXXX/XXXX/17 located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX. Spoke with an associate that initially said that she could help. She asked for 2 forms of ID and I provided my driver 's license and my work badge. She had me verify my maiden name " XXXX '' and a previous address. Then she called someone. During her conversation she informed me that I will not have online access to my account and proceeded to say that if I had an active account that I would be able to access my account online. She gave me an XXXX number to obtain over the phone info about my account. I was upset and left. I told her that I would file a complaint. On my way home I called the number she 'd given XXXX XXXX, their Retirement Service Center. Spoke with an individual over phone she asked me personal questions, which I verified and afterwards was told that she needed to transfer me to someone else. I was transferred to a gentleman and I verified my information yet again. He initially said that he could help and then it changed. I recommended that he call the branch and gave him the name to the associate that I 'd spoken to. He said that he would, then he came back after a few minutes and said that he would have to fill out a form to escalate. This is not right!!!! Wells Fargo obtained my information through my employer, which is the same employer that I had when I opened a previous account with them. I work directly across the street from the branch. Since the transfer Wells Fargo, they have yet to reach out to me via mail, email or phone to verify my account information. How will they report this info for tax purposes? I 'm lost for words. Is this how financial institutions now handle accounts when there are multiple profiles? I 've moved and married since my first account with them but my race, sex and social have remained the same. I 've had retirement accounts with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX but never a financial institution unwilling to provide me with my account information. I feel their practices are deceptive and in violation with current banking laws and requirements. With all the media attention that Wells Fargo has gotten I 'm extremely concerned that they 're allowed to do this.

Complaint: I initiated papers to have a direct transfer from Wells Fargo to XXXX XXXX XXXX of a Roth IRA, account # XXXX. Supposedly the IRA transfer office in XXXX XXXX, SD transferred the funds by mail on XXXX/XXXX/2017. After 1 month and the funds not being received by XXXX, I sent stop payment papers to Wells Fargo in S.D. and although XXXX XXXX says the papers were delivered XXXX/XXXX/17 @ XXXX, Wells Fargo said they never received them. On Thursday, XXXX/XXXX/17 The local branch of Wells Fargo faxed the papers and on Friday they said they received them but it would take 3-5 business days for them to stop payment and another 90 days for them to re-issue a new check. Given that XXXX never received the funds in the first place and Wells Fargo claims they never received the stop payment papers delivered by XXXX XXXX, the 90 day waiting period, I am concerned I will never receive my funds.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I used my Wells Fargo Visa credit card to purchase a XXXX XXXX XXXX trip that I was solicited via telephone. When speaking to the sales person I inquired about the various places I would like to travel to, for example XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I was told yes they had resorts in those locations so I proceeded to purchase the package for {$1100.00}. This was the first time I used this credit card. I called the credit card company on the day I made the purchase because the card was turned down. In speaking with the credit card customer service I asked if I changed my mind in a couple of days could I cancel the purchase, this was on a Friday evening so I had the weekend to change my mind. That Monday morning I called the credit card company to cancel the purchase because I had recieved an email with the various resorts they offered. None of the locations I had requested was included in the resorts. When I called XXXX XXXX XXXX about my concerns I was told they may offer resorts in the areas I was interested in at a later time. I informed them I wanted to cancel my trip. On that same day I called my Visa Credit card and requested they cancel the purchase. I was told that the purchase did not show on the card and that they would cancel but I should follow up in writing. I faxed them in writing the reason for my cancellation. In XX/XX/XXXX the charge was deleted from my account. In XX/XX/XXXX this charge reappeared on my XX/XX/XXXX billing account. I called the Visa Wells Fargo to see why they put it back on my account. I was told something about a third party charge and they would not take it off. They insisted that I use the trip. When I tried to book my trip around XX/XX/XXXX ( trip expiration is XX/XX/XXXX ) I was told by XXXX XXXX XXXX that my trip was under dispute and I could not book it. Once again I contacted my Wells Fargo Visa credit card company to help me resolve the dispute issue. On a three way recorded call the credit card company told the Vacation sales person that they had charged me the amount and they had been paid. After much discussion, the credit card company agreed to send written documentation that they had paid the trip and that I was being charged. I still have problems about getting information on the various resorts and what is offered at the resorts they offer. I no longer trust this company and because I had initionally requested the credit card company cancel this charge ( before it was charged to my account ) it should be removed from my credit card.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, a check of {$1200.00} was about to cash from my Wells Fargo checking account. My account did not have the balance to cover so an overdraft fee was incurred. I did not write this check. After hours of communicating with bank rep over the phone, I got the image of the check, and confirmed that 's not a check from me ( not even have my name/address/signature on it ). The rep confirmed it 's a bank error/fraud, however refused to credit the fee back to my account, saying additional investigations needed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote online message to the bank, bank confirmed that the executive office will follow up this case with me within two days. I have not heard anything from the bank as of morning of XX/XX/XXXX. I have no choice but filing the case with CFPB, hoping the issue can be resolved swiftly and reasonably.

Location XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - 20 acre horse farm - 1,400 sq ft house/10 stall barn - 5 paddocks fenced with hydrants. Not a foreclosure -- - A Trash Out -- Excessive - aggressive action -- Never escrowed for insurance or real estate taxes. In the ninth year of 10 year note I forgot to pay the real estate taxes that were due XX/XX/XXXX I received a certified letter from assessor 's office to pay by XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I was not upside down on my mortgage/I had not walked away from my property The insurance that I paid was still in force for this location - Wells Fargo received a copy ever year I estimate the loan to value on this property to be 1 % -- owed under {$4000.00} principal value of property over {$400000.00} The XXXX County Assessors office has verified that I usually paid the real estate taxes early to take a discount. The Bills come out in XXXX and are Due by XXXX XXXX. Assessors office did not bill Wells Fargo - yet out of the blue Wells Fargo somehow found out that my real estate taxes were late - I mailed my certified funds to timely to assessor 's office - SO DID WELLS FARGO- Both payments reached the assessor the same day -- XXXX XXXX The assessors office cashed Wells Fargo check and not my bank certified funds check. This was a one time hiccup in my payment of real estate taxes. At the time that this occurred I was early with my XXXX mortgage payment - it was received by Wells Fargo on XXXX XXXX, XXXX -- My XXXX payment was received on XXXX XXXX. SO I was not late or behind or in default -- -- The next tax bill was mailed in XXXX XXXX to be paid by XXXX XXXX, XXXX - XXXX XXXX, XXXX is the same day that my Wells Fargo mortgage was scheduled to be paid off. My monthly payments were typically {$1500.00} -- - Wells Fargo took it upon themselves to PREPAY the real estate taxes in XXXX XXXX The real estate taxes were not due until XXXX XXXX, XXXX they would not have been on the loan after XXXX XXXX when the taxes were due. The principal loan balance in XXXX XXXX, when XXXX XXXX prepaid the real estate taxes was less than {$5000.00} The real estate taxes were over {$6000.00}. - more than the principal owed. I could have put the real estate taxes on a credit card before XXXX XXXX, XXXX if I did not have the funds, but instead Wells Fargo increased my payments and I wrote them letters advising them of their mistake. They never answered. I continued to pay the {$1500.00} Since this is a secondary residence I am not there regularly - but sometime in XXXX Wells Fargo or their vendors changed the lock on my door, entered my house and removed my contents, a XXXX tractor and a XXXX travel Trailer - well over $ 150,000- The XXXX Police responded while I was at my home in XXXX County Pa and TOLD ME they saw the lock/door knob on the floor in my garage and that there was no forced entry. In the numerous conversations I have had with Wells Fargo they refuse to tell me the dates that my home was inspected, the name of the vendors, and what if any work was done by their " preservation team '' They go on on about their financial interest in the property. Complaint: Received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, signed by XXXX XXXX XXXX of Wells Fargo Merchant Service 's Executive Office stating that " You no longer hold an outstanding collection balance with WFMS '' ( see attached ). Received a subsequent letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, from the Wells Fargo Overdraft Deposit Collections and Recovery ( ODCR ) Department stating that I have a balance due of {$130.00} for my closed account ending in XXXX ( see attached ). I called the ODCR Department on Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX, at approximately XXXX XXXX and spoke with a person who stated that their name was XXXX. I was then transferred to another person who stated that their name was XXXX ( employee # XXXX ) in the XXXX XXXX XXXX. She confirmed that I had a {$0.00} balance and then transferred me after I requested a written letter showing nothing owed. I then spoke with a person who stated that their name was XXXX ( employee # XXXX ) who stated that I have a {$130.00} balance. This entire process was completed at approximately XXXX XXXX -- 48 minutes later, after extended periods of holds. My old business account was closed by them because I refused to pay their overdraft, and NSF fees generated from my former merchant 's account. I voluntarily closed my personal checking and savings accounts, as well as my business savings account due to excessive fees levied after their lawsuit for opening illegal accounts for thousands of their " valued '' customers.

Complaint: I have been a customer with Wells Fargo for over 5 years. Throughout these years, because of my low-balance, I was often charged overdraft fees for items, so I changed my account to not allow a transaction to process if the money was not in the checking account. If an item still went through ( because they say it is a common vendor ) causing my account to be in the negative, I would have 24 hours to rectify the solution, or be charged a {$35.00} overdraft fee. However, they have recently changed their systems, so it will allow something to process, and at XXXX will re-figure the account, and now immediately charge a {$35.00} fee for a transaction it allowed through. On XXXX, in the evening, I paid a few bills. Because of Wells Fargo 's practices, I have severe anxiety when it comes to finances and banking. Therefore, I check my account daily. A transaction processed overnight and on XXXX I awoke to a negative balance as there was a difference of about {$6.00}. Immediately, I went to Wells Fargo ( herein " WF '' located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, OR XXXX ) and deposited {$10.00} to cover the {$6.00} ( plus change ) difference in my accounting. I had however already been charged the {$35.00} fee, as I stated, WF no longer offers any time to correct a balance error. After making the deposit, on XXXX, I spoke with a banker, XXXX, telling him I again was wrongly charged a fee. Importantly, to note, I was charged a fee in XXXX of XXXX for an internal Wells Fargo transfer - from my checking to my Auto Loan ( also directly through WF ) as the same situation happened at midnight, " the system '' as the employees blame, incorrectly charged a {$35.00} fee. The system allowed this transaction & if it was not there, it should not have allowed a transfer, especially an internal one. That was rightfully refunded. After my XXXX visit, I was promised a call back. I did not receive one. On Tuesday XXXX, I called and was told the system would not allow the refund of this illegal fee. I asked to speak to a manager as Wells Fargo in refusing to return a fee, over a {$6.00} difference which I covered the same day, WF is stealing from me directly. The current service manager XXXX XXXX stated that she could not change what was in the system as her manager XXXX had reviewed and denied the request. XXXX was not in, I have left him a message. I let them know I was tired of them stealing from me & am closing my account ( s ). They did not apologize, nor seem to care at all. Wells Fargo has profited off me for years. They take advantage of " little people '', who like me, live paycheck to paycheck. Their negligence of care is outstanding and has caused me monetary and emotional harm and distress. Over the 5 years with them, they have made hundreds of dollars off me in fees. They currently have stolen from me, without consent, in a fraudulent manner. Wells Fargo has no consideration for how their action of something " small '' could be quite large in my individual life day to day. The {$35.00} they are stealing was budgeted for food. I have opened a new account with a different bank & will no longer tolerate these practices.
