Complaint: Wells Fargo is my loan services. I have never missed a payment. After ten years the majority of my payment still goes to interest and not the principal. There are months that my {$1600.00} payment is not credited in full for either principal, interest or escrow they will credit {$2.00}. Im wondering where my payment is going? The reason is because Im in the XXXX XXXX know your options program which is for struggling homeowners facing foreclosure. Wells Fargo has a history of fraudulent practices with their customers. I have never expressed any communication with them about struggling or trouble paying my mortgage. Where are my payments going? Why is the full amount not credited at times? What is the other category on my statement and why is money going there? Why am I in a program for pre-foreclosure with my lender? Why is the majority of a full payment still going to interest and not principal?
These are my concerns and I never get straight answers from Wells Fargo please help

Complaint: Wells Fargo, has held my mortgage for 15 years. It started off as an interest only 6 % mortgage. It was {$350000.00}, I paid it down to close to {$190000.00}, after they charge me huge amounts of money to refinance it to a five and three-quarter percent loan. They solicit me continuously, and offer me all kinds of new refinance programs that would cost thousands of dollars to put back into the mortgage. They recently sent me a offer to refinance at 3 1/4 %. Stream line, clean fast. There is nothing streamlined about it, I have paid out of pocket to have an appraisal, I have spent countless hours sending paperwork, I have paid my accountant to send in all kinds of tax forms. My credit is way up over 800 .I have an immaculate record and impeccable history. Yet it has been several months since they have responded with this new and improved refinance. I believe it is all a scam I have wasted my time, and my money.

Attempted to collect wrong amount
Complaint: I started receiving correspondence from XXXX XXXX claiming I owe {$95000.00} in student loan. They claim I borrowed from Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo is the most dishonest bank, I never consolidated or borrowed anything for school from them. I deeply regret having a mortgage with them and accounts.
I since looked at NSLDS and my student aid websites. My servicer is in XXXX TX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. There is no mention of Wells Fargo or XXXX XXXX. The total amount I owe is {$80000.00}. Once again Wells Fargo is trying to steal money and charging XXXX more than what I owe.
I still have a credit card in my name that I never signed up for. The card was used and charged to the max by my ex boyfriend who lived with me. I was s victim of XXXX XXXX and XXXX. I was able to get a XXXX and start rebuilding my life after this ordeal. However Wells Fargo is still demanding I pay this credit card and I refuse to do so. I almost lost my XXXX and already lost a lot of money from theft and fraud committed by this man.
This student loan scam is just the latest in the ongoing greed and abuse by Wells Fargo.

Problem using a debit or ATM card
Complaint: I had two checking accounts with Wells Fargo Bank. Starting in XXXX and carrying over into XXXX I had several fraudulent charges and/or ATM debit card withdrawals from one or both of my checking accounts. The accounts are XXXX and XXXX. The majority of fraudulent transactions occurred on the account ending in XXXX. I started reporting and seeking reimbursement in XX/XX/XXXX. The reason I didnt report within 24-48 hours was because of the abusive situation I was in. There were several factors : I didnt know the fraud was happening, I didnt have access to online banking at the time, my mental and physical health was compromised and I was unable to act in a rational or timely manner, and I didnt know how to handle all of the fraud of credit cards, bank accounts, and fraud with ISP, mobile carriers etc. I was overwhelmed and had to address each component separately and thoroughly. I got approximately 50 % of the money returned from Wells Fargo. I have had to deal with rude and condescending people on the phone who would ask me questions like why did so much fraud happen? How can you be telling the truth this is too much fraud? I have had Wells Fargo deny many claims saying a PIN number was used therefore it is not fraud. I would like to ask the following question : if my PIN number was used without my knowledge or consent, and money was taken from my account, isnt that fraud? My PIN number was the same on every single card I owned. Secondly, the man who did the fraud told me that he used my fingerprint to open my I Phone when I was asleep, to access PIN numbers and personal information in order to access cards and bank accounts. He is a criminal and should be punished for these crimes. However, Wells Fargo holds me accountable and refused to reimburse me for transactions that were done by someone else. They called me in the summer and said I was a fraud risk and they were closing both of my accounts. I said thats great, this should have been done months ago. In addition the XXXX account was opened in XX/XX/XXXX. At that time I wanted to close XXXX but Wells Fargo said I could not or they would not refund the fraud transactions. Why? If we had closed that account we could have stopped some of the fraud. Yesterday I received a packet in the mail stating that XXXX was still open. Why am I receiving contradictory information? In the summer I was told it was closed, now I find out it was open. I am in the negative for this account, I anticipated a claim being reimbursed for fraud and withdrew money. I accidentally overdrew my account. Once the claim was denied my account was in the negative. I complained to the FDIC and To Wells Fargo many times. If I am insured by FDIC, why is Wells Fargo not reimbursing the funds that were taken fraudulently? Why are they assuming that a PIN number used denotes no fraud? Why have they consistently denied claims? Have they ever talked to law enforcement or the states attorney to understand that what I am saying is true? They rely on a fraud department that has a limited scope of the situation and makes determinations based on a few parameters. They find ways to deny helping a customer. Prior to XXXX, I never had fraud. I never came to Wells Fargo and requested anything.i do not have a history of these claims. The bank manager XXXX and XXXX XXXX at the branch on XXXX XXXX know me and can vouch for me. I came to Wells Fargo with a problem, they gave me additional stress, anguish, frustration, pain and compounded the problem. I have spent upwards of 3 hours at a time on the phone with their agents solving one or two claims. I finally gave up. I lost 50 pounds and my health deteriorated further from the interaction with Wells Fargo. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the way they have handled my claims.they sent me a packet of information in XXXX detailing why they dont see fraud on the checking account ending inXXXX. They said they had an investigation done by an independent third party service. What do they want me to do? I have submitted paperwork of identity theft, police reports, court cases. I cant submit anything else. If a customer is willing to submit any paperwork, proof, details to get court transcripts, etc, they are being transparent and honest. Wells Fargo just refuses to do the right thing. I am not Surprised. They have a history of fraudulent practices. They have been fined before and within three years did the same thing again. They sent me a check for {$270.00} as appreciation. That doesnt cover the majority of fraudulent transactions that they denied. I regret doing business with this bank.

Problem with customer service
Complaint: I am a co-signer on a Wells Fargo student loan for my daughter ( Loan # XXXX ). She missed several payments in XXXX. Wells Fargo failed to contact me as a co-responsible party and subsequently entered poor credit information on my credit report. Wells Fargo fails to update their systems so that notifications are timely and immediate corrective action be taken by the co-borrower. I was issued three Wells Fargo complaint numbers ( # XXXX, # XXXX and # XXXX ), all failing to resolve the issue. I will attach evidence Wells Fargo changes information in their internal systems regarding contact information that I neither requested or agreed to - and they changed it to a wrong address - more than once. Yet, Wells Fargo have my correct email address but still fail to send me notifications as the co-borrower. I requested, due to their negligence, that Wells Fargo remove this erroneous reporting. They refuse to do so. I know I changed my contact information XX/XX/XXXX - they failed to update it in their system.
Given issues with this loan, I paid the loan off in full on XXXX XXXX. I sat in front of loan officer XXXX XXXX at the Wells Fargo Bank on XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX NC. I told her my goal was to pay the loan off in full that day and to dispute late fees and credit reporting due to Wells Fargo 's lack of proper loan servicing. XXXX told me the payoff - minus the late fees, which they were waiving - was {$4700.00}. Indeed, they included {$230.00} in late fees ( documents attached ). They subsequently refunded my daughter {$48.00} - they still owe me {$180.00} ; they refuse to refund this amount.
I have tried and exhausted all my attempts to resolve this issue with Wells Fargo - they are impossible to work with. I request your help in getting both my credit rating restored back to it's near perfect rating - and the refund that is owed.
Thank you

Complaint: Wells Fargo sold my loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is not suited to handle a 'negative amortization ' loan. Online and statement by mail only give the option to pay the minimum amount plus insurance. They see my loan as a standard ARM and at the same time tell me they understand a negative amortization loan. Since taking over the loan ( 4 or 5 months ago ) I have to call every month to make my payment. I never speak with the same rep so I have explain my loan so they take the right payment. This takes time as they put me on hold to read the mounting notes of the previous months. They go through the same series of solutions that I go through every month that never fix the issue. Since being forcibly moved into this company it has taken me 30 to 45 minutes to make a payment. It used to be 30 seconds online at Wells Fargo. All I am being told is that they are working on it. My relationship due to my frustration is not going very well with this company. I understand my loan can be transferred and what I do not understand is how it can transferred to a company not suited to handle this type of loan? Wells Fargo told my only way back it refinance but I like my loan and want to keep it.
What recourse does a consumer have in this type of indecent? There has to be something against mortgage companies selling consumer mortgage loan paper to unqualified companies.
