Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: To Whom It May Concern : A system error has resulted in a negative credit report that I hope to get amended.
I leased my car in XX/XX/XXXX and was making timely payments through XXXX ' own online auto-pay function. All payments were credited on time with no issue. An internal error resulted in two payments being pulled for XX/XX/XXXX. Subsequently, I suspended the XX/XX/XXXX payment. A second internal error cancelled the auto-payment function with NO notification. As you can imagine after 2+ years of automatic payments, I did not check. There was absolutely no email, phone or written contact by XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX I received the first contact from XXXX that my payments were now late. Immediately the balance was cancelled and set up to date. Unfortunately, despite not receiving a call, email or letter prior to this my credit report was negatively impacted. I reached out directly to XXXX to attempt to clarify the situation but they were no help.
Once my records are reviewed you will notice I have worked very diligently to make timely and responsible payments and maintain a clean credit report. I am aware that there are individuals that intentionally miss payments and try to manipulate the system. I would not be wasting my time or your if this were the case. Please remove this negative report from by credit score as I should not be faulted for a system error.

Problem with paying off the loan
Complaint: I purchased my leased XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX through Toyota Financial services. The lease ended XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX Toyota Financial Services withdrew {$200.00} out of my checking account when they had no contract what so ever to do so. The lease ended the day before. I called them to get my monies back and they insisted I caused the problem by not turning off auto payments through them. Why would I need to turn off the payments when I had paid off the loan. They would not reverse the non authorized charge and stated I would have to wait for a check in the mail. This is flat out stealing!!! Please stop them. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was jacked around by some punk named XXXX that lied about being a supervisor.

Unable to receive car title or other problem after the loan is paid off
Complaint: Purchased a used Toyota from a Toyota dealership in XXXX XXXX, financed directly through Toyota and paid the loan off a year later. In the middle of my loan I moved to a new house and did everything I needed to update my address information with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so that they would have my correct address and contact information. Fast forward to today and I go to sell my car and purchase a new one and realize I never received the title to my vehicle after paying it off in XXXX XXXX. I called Toyota and they told me they sent the title and lien release to my old address and they are not sure why because they confirmed they did have my new address on file. They also stated they never received my title in their returned mail and have no idea where it is. I tried to order a new title from my state and rush it so that I could have it to sell my car this weekend and my state then informs me that they can not even release my title because Toyota never released the lien and the title is still showing that it has a lien against it. So back on the phone with Toyota who tells me they cant fax a lien release with out me being at the state office which is 2.5 hours away. After some arguing they agree to fax the release but not for 2 business days, so now I have to wait 2 business days to even order a title and wait 10 business days to even receive the title. At this point I will probably lose the sale on my vehicle which will cost me {$13000.00} and I probably wont be able to purchase the new vehicle I intended because I wont have the money for the down payment.
Toyota is responsible for sending the title of my vehicle to the wrong address after I did everything I needed to do to update my address information with them and now I am the one dealing with the mess. All I asked Toyota to do was rush the release of the lien to the state and they tell me I have to wait in a queue for it to be released and it can not be rushed. I did n't think that was much to ask after the mistake they made by sending the title of my vehicle to the WRONG address.
Unfortunately I no longer know my account/loan number but my name in their records is XXXX XXXX with my current address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Maine XXXX

Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX. My lease matured in XXXX XXXX, so before the maturity date I contacted Lexus Financial Services and asked for 6 months extension. The rep took down my request and told me I should be notified shortly weather my extension was granted. I called a few days later and the customer service told that he could not see it but if I saw that a payment for the next month was available that meant that the extension was granted. I logged in into my LFS account and a payment for the month of XXXX was due. I made the payment and was under the impression that the lease extension was granted. The next payment notification came in XXXX so I paid it as well. A few days after the XXXX payment at XXXX XXXX in the morning a tow truck with two beasts gets inside my property and tows away my car. I get confused thinking it is a theft. I tried to get my stuff from the car to make sure it was not a theft, one of the beasts blocked me and they took off. I called the police department and was advised that it could be the financial services. I got doubtful because I knew I had made the payments. I called LFS they apologized and told me that the extension was never granted. I called another time just to pose a question weather they made a mistake or they really acted in compliance with the California laws. I asked them if the lease is past the maturity date and the extension is not granted are they supposed to accept further payments, and their answer was NO. A month after the incident they sent me a a letter thanking me that I returned the vehicle to XXXXXXXX XXXX which I did not and that the vehicle had excess mileage/and wear as defined by my lease agreement or I had some unpaid charges, or both. The the statement reads I owe them {$2400.00}. I called them again and told them that my vehicle had excess mileage but not in excess of XXXX miles which I paid in the two extra payments that I made after the maturity date. They had no answer but to insist that the amount was due and that it need to be paid off.

Billing problem
Complaint: I had a loan with Toyota Financial Services ( TFS ) for a XXXX XXXX. I set up auto deduction for {$400.00} at the beginning of the loan. Every payment was posted on time. At the end of the loan I had a {$310.00} balance right before my XXXX XXXX payment was due. On XX/XX/XXXX Toyota Financial Services ( TFS ) deducted the same {$400.00} amount. I contacted them and I was told that since I authorized {$400.00} they pull {$400.00} no matter what the balance. I was also told that on XX/XX/XXXX a refund check was cut. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I do not have that check. By the time I receive this money, deposit it and the check clears my bank it will be at least 7 calendar days. That is 7 days of " float '' on my money that I will not be getting. Now, that amount is very small until you sum up all of the customers that they have done this to this year. Then it becomes a large 0 % loan on the backs of the consumer. I believe that is unethical. I believe you have the power to force them to deduct the regular monthly payment or the payoff balance each month whichever is lesser. Thank you

Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: Turned in my lease ( XX/XX/XXXX ) after a dealer incentive to buy a new car. I was told by the dealer there would be no additional lease charges. On XX/XX/XXXX received a bill from XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$1400.00}. They drafted another payment of {$720.00} and applied it against the balance. I was told the excessive charges were for a cracked windshield and 2nd key. I turned in both keys. I got no credit for tuning the car in approx 12,000 miles under the contract limit and was not told of any additional charges before buying the new car. The dealer did involved and I agreed to pay a final balance of {$340.00} to XXXX XXXX which they said would bring balance to XXXX and the dealer reimbursed me as well.
Now over a year later, I received another bill from XXXX for {$360.00}. I was told I was lucky this was n't turned over to collections and it would be if I did n't pay it. I was told the additional fee was added because I did n't buy a new car from XXXX. I told him I did buy a new car the day I dropped this one off. He said he did n't see where I purchased a new car. I told him to check with the dealer. He then asked if I financed the car with XXXX. I told him that I financed the new car with the bank chosen by the dealer which was XXXX XXXX XXXX. He said that explains it and they would have waived the fee had I financed with them. I did n't so I have to pay them the {$XXXX} over a year after turning in the car and paying the amount agreed in XX/XX/XXXX. He also said I should have read the contract more carefully as it allowed them to charge the additional fees whenever they want to.

Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: I am writing with a complaint against Toyota Financial Services for unfair business practices. In XX/XX/XXXX, I leased a vehicle from Toyota for three years, and in XX/XX/XXXXI opted to return the leased vehicle to Toyota. The vehicle was in excellent condition, with just minor wear and tear. I was very upset when I received a bill in the mail from Toyota Financial Services in the amount of {$2900.00} for excessive wear and use, excessive mileage, and a disposition fee. I do not agree with the charges, as the vehicle is in excellent working condition, but Toyota Financial Services has refused to waive or reduce them. I furthermore do not have the money to pay them, but I do not want this listed as a bad debt on my otherwise excellent credit. Thank you in advance for whatever assistance you can provide.

Billing problem
Complaint: I made a payment on their website for my first auto payment on XX/XX/2017 for XXXX. The Toyota Financial Services website was specifically designed to not allow a principal payment in the payment area. The regularly scheduled payment was for {$260.00} and I had paid an extra {$200.00} toward the auto loan amount so as to reduce the amount of the payment term. The representative did state she would reclassify the amount of this first payment to both regular payment and principal for this instance. However the issue came up when I asked if I could make both a regular payment and principal payment on the same payment submission area of the website. The representative stated that in order to receive credit for the payment in the future that I would have to submit only regular payment amounts on the website. She further stated that to receive a principal payment I would need to write a separate check and send it regular US Mail to the address shown. I expressed my dismay at the answer to my question, but she stated that is only I way I could do this. I feel that this is unfair trade practices and that this finance company to allow for both payment types ( regular and extra Principal ) on their website to occur. I think it is egregious that we ca n't have a one stop payment website. I have a long term 84 month on my auto and I wish to reduce it by any means possible. It not good customer service to Not allow for extra payments to be made online at this company. Thank you.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX To : Toyota Credit Research Team, Account number : XXXX Ive been approved for two payment extensions for my XXXX Toyota XXXX beginning XX/XX/XXXX. Since then I have signed the agreement and mail it out to the address on the agreement Toyota Motor Credit XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IA XXXX. I Waited a week and contacted Toyota about the status of the extension since I didnt see it reflected on my Toyota account. A representative stated that they didnt receive the agreement that I mailed in so I refaxed the agreement again. Billing problem
Complaint: I was contacted via phone a few months ago by Toyota Financial Services and was told I owed over {$1000.00}, not including the usual monthly payment. When I asked what the additional money was for the representative was n't able to tell me, just that I had to pay the amount.
When I asked to speak with a manager he was n't able to get a manager for me. I asked if he could just email me the information since I already get all of my bills online anyways but he said the company does n't allow that.
I 've since been getting harassing calls to the point I 've had to block the numbers that Toyota uses because they do n't leave voicemail 's stating who they are or why they 're calling, apparently that 's also against their policies. So I will sometimes get 5+ calls a day from a random number that never leaves a voicemail.
I found out that the extra charge was for a personal property tax but I also found out that I 'm being charged an additional {$830.00} for a past due payment amount.
I sent the following to Toyota in an email asking for clarification but they refused to reply to my email.
" I have been making over the minimum payment to pay towards the " Personal Property Tax '' that I am being charged. My statement is now showing that I owe {$3000.00} and that my " PPT '' has gone from {$310.00} last statement to {$1300.00} this statement. Also, what are these monthly {$840.00} " past due payment amounts '' I 'm being charged? This month it is {$830.00} and last month it was {$860.00}, but the previous two months it was {$840.00}. Please email regarding this because I do not answer phone numbers I do n't recognize and I also require a record of all conversations between Toyota Financial Services and myself for legal purposes. Complaint: I had a very unusual situation with Toyota Financial Services as XXXX lost a trade in car and Toyota ultimately held me responsible for it. We made a deal for a partial payoff amount to satisfy the debt but they have not accurately updated my credit reports as agreed. Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: I was previously a lease holder through Toyota Financial Services for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and turned in the vehicle off lease for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I began receiving calls from a debt collector at XXXX XXXX in approximately late XX/XX/XXXXstating that I owed $ 400+ dollars from my XX/XX/XXXXlease relating to a missing key when the car was turned in off lease. The address he had on file, as provided by Toyota, was the incorrect address despite me being a current account holder with Toyota for the XXXX XXXX XXXX and receiving bills each month to my correct address. I provided my current address ( not knowing who he was ) to receive a copy of the bill. I was told this was sent on XX/XX/XXXXbut this was not received at my home. I received 2 additional calls from XXXX XXXX. He then suggested I consider speaking with Toyota Financial Services. I called the number at Toyota FS provided by XXXX XXXX and was told by XXXX XXXX in recovery at Toyota FS that she could provide me no information on my account and that I had to speak with the debt collector at XXXX XXXX and Toyota would not send me the bill. I requested to speak with a supervisor at Toyota FS and was told a supervisor was not able to speak with me. I offered to provide a call back number and was told they do n't make outbound calls. I then offered to wait on hold and was told they do not allow people to wait on hold. So, I am now at a point where I am being called repeatedly by a debt collector, have no way to validate this money is indeed owed through the receipt of a bill and Toyota Financial Services sent me to a debt collector due to not having appropriate records for this amount claimed owed for a missing key when they do have my address for the car I pay monthly for that I traded the old vehicle ( with the supposed missing key ) in for.

Loan balance remaining after the vehicle is repossessed and sold
Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX : called Toyota to do a voluntary repossession since I could no longer make payments due to losing my job. They had the repo man to set up and time and place that afternoon to meet to pick up the vehicle. When he picked it up he just asked for the keys and that 's all.
XX/XX/XXXX : they posted on my credit report stating I owed them {$14000.00}. I never received anything by mail what they would do with the vehicle once it 's gone, if I wanted to purchase the car back and when the vehicle sold what the deficiency amount would be after telling me where/when the auction would take place.
XX/XX/XXXX : I called Toyota to get my account number and the customer service lady did not even know that the vehicle had been repossessed or I owed anything, I was trying to figure out why I never received any correspondence from Toyota and still have yet to receive anything.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX a due date change was conducted with Toyota Financial Services for my monthly car payments for my XXXX XXXX XXXX. It was changed from the XXXX of every month to the XXXX of every month. My monthly payments are {$450.00}. I have never been late on any of these payments and my contract gives me a 15 day grace period where no late fees or interest charges will be held against me. I sometimes pay the full amount on the XXXX or XXXX day, or I 'll split the payment in half and pay half on the XXXX and half on the XXXX or whatever date lands on 15 days. Ever since my due date change I started getting calls from Toyota Financial Services about being late or my payments not being received. Each time I would stay on the phone for an hour ( being bounced around ) explaining what my contract says and how my due date was changed. Each time this information was always confirmed and the call was always ended with an apology. I get these same phone calls at least twice a month. I then checked my credit report and saw that Toyota Financial Services reported a 30 day late marker to my credit report for the month of XXXX and XXXX. This greatly affected my credit score. When I called and asked them about it they admitted that they never updated my due date change in their system, which caused every payment to show up late. They once again apologized and said they would send a letter to all 3 credit bureaus on their behalf. The late marker for XXXX and XXXX was removed, but then I received ANOTHER 30 day late marker on my report for XXXXI called them on XXXX XXXX, XXXX to get this resolved and was once again bounced around on the phone for over a hour, just to hear a manager tell me " I honestly ca n't give you an answer as to why this is happening. '' This whole experience has been dreadful. Credit is everything and a company should n't have the right to keep reporting false negative marks. Especially when they ca n't even give you a reason why.

Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Complaint: I am asking that the 30 day late negative placed on my credit report by Toyota Financial Services be removed. When I received my first bill ( TFS Account : XXXX ), I paid my bill online and setup autopay to ensure that a timely payment was delivered. For whatever reason, XXXX website did not process my payment. Upon learning that my payment did not go through, I tried to pay my bill online through XXXX website XXXX more times before I gave up and started paying though my XXXX Bank bill pay. I have since setup automatic payments through XXXX and have had no issues thus far. Attached are files showing my attempted payments as well as my banking statements showing ending daily balances. There is no reason the payment should not have been processed.
I take great pride in my credit history and ability to repay my obligations. As you can see from my attached credit report, I have no other occurrences of bills not being pay on time. Further, in this example I made multiple attempts to use the XXXX provided service to pay my bill only to be rejected. Given this is my first time purchasing a XXXX and using Toyota financial services, I am extremely disappointed to be writing this letter.
