Complaint: Toyota Motor Credit has recently submitted negative activity to the credit reporting agencies regarding the status of my paid in full car loan. I paid my vehicle in full effective XXXX XXXX. The payoff was reflected on all three credit reporting agencies effective XXXX XXXX. I received a letter from Toyota dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX in support of same. This same letter advised of late charges which were assessed during the course of the loan period. Toyota and I are not in full agreement as to the actual amount of these late charges, and I have been writing them letters, starting prior the end of the loan pay-off, to request a proper accounting and explanation of these late charges. Their calculations do not compute correctly. The payment website, which is supposed to reflect current account activity has been and is still incorrect ; stating that I have a balance of {$1200.00} and some change. Not one person at Toyota can explain this to me. They have never responded to my three ( 3 ) written requests, and my countless phone calls. Toyota has also continued to report the late payments as unpaid on XXXX which is not true. They were paid and I have asked Toyota to correct this to no avail. I have filed dispute resolution claims through XXXX, and Toyota will not correct the incorrect information or inconsistencies. Simultaneously I started receiving calls from the Toyota Collection division after the payoff of my loan to advise me that my account was in collection for an unpaid balance of {$.00} ( cents ). Each time I received a call from their collection department I was told an internal waiver would be sent to accounting to solve the error. I kept getting call after call and having to explain this all over again. Each agent was able to see the activity of the previous calls, apologized for the inconvenience and assured me it would be resolved. None of my requests for a proper accounting have been resolved, nor was the correction to the {$.00} incorrect unpaid balance, and now it has resulted in negative activity on my credit report. I dont know any consumer who is going to simply pay a bill when there are so many ambiguities and inconsistencies in the accounting ; and when individual internal corporate departments of a global company can not explain their own accounting amongst themselves.

Complaint: After numerous phone calls from XXXX XXXX XXXX for an alleged debt collection, the company sent me a letter since I would not give them personal information over the phone. The letter arrived on XX/XX/XXXX and states that I owe a debt to Toyota Motor Credit ( TMC ) and asks for {$370.00} as the amount due. My last business transaction with TMC ended in XX/XX/XXXXwith an auto lease termination and all charges paid in full ; no further communication from TMC was received after that. I called TMC on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with an agent in their finance department who reviewed my account with them. The TMC agent stated that my account was closed and paid in full and that there were no flags attached indicating a dispute. In my mind this is an attempt by XXXX to extract money from me for a bogus debt. Watch out for communication from XXXX and do your homework to verify that the alleged debt is real. They 're 2 addresses to which statements have been sent, both are incorrect and as a result I have not been receiving the statements. I use my debit card from my bank to make payments. When I do this you ask me to verify the billing address that is on file with the bank associated with that bank account. Complaint: I sent a dispute letter to Toyota Financial regarding the accuracy of my credit report. They replied back with a letter ( which I attached ), stating that they are reporting my account accurately and consistent to the credit reporting agencies. They just violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by saying they verified information was correct with the credit bureaus when in fact it was n't. Below are the things are that are not accurate and consistent. XXXX shows terms as 0 months when XXXX and XXXX show 66 months Last reported date shows XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX. ( How can they have three different dates for this but yet verified it was accurate ) Date last active shows XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX. ( How can they have three different dates for this but yet verified it was accurate ) Date of last payment shows blank on XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX. ( How can they have three different dates for this but yet verified it was accurate ) This is not only a violation of the FCRA but also not compliant with METRO 2 guidelines which is mandated by the XXXX.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I was approved for a vehicle ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) at XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TN XXXX ) through XXXX XXXX. The monthly payment was around {$640.00}. I provided the necessary documentation-2 current pay stubs, proof of residency ( lease and utility bill ), employment history ( 17 as a XXXX ), etc. I was there with my XXXX daughter and of course was complimented many times about her. I was told that my 1st payment would be around XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a welcoming call from XXXX, that provided me with information about my upcoming payment. A few minutes after the call ended, XXXX called back to ask me if I was on XXXX leave ( I found this to be very odd that they knew that I had recently XXXX XXXX ). I said " yes '', and then we hung up. I never received the information about how to make a payment. A week later ( now a month of driving the vehicle has passed ) Toyota ( a lady named XXXX ) called to inform me that the loan was denied because I was on XXXX leave-despite the employment history and my current pay stubs. I wanted to know how XXXX knew that I was on leave. She was n't sure, but that I should n't worry and that Toyota would handle it. They " handled '' it by making hard credit inquiries without my permission- XXXX ( twice ), XXXX XXXX, Toyota Financial, and XXXX. In XXX, I sent a certified letter with a signature receipt asking them to remove the unauthorized inquiries within 30 days. Their response was for me to return the vehicle. The signature on the receipt was on XXXX XXXX and the 5 inquiries are still on my credit report, my score has lowered, and I am still without a vehicle. I need your assistance in this mattter.

Complaint: We purchased our new vehicle from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX our credit union sent a payoff of the vehicle to the dealership. On XX/XX/XXXX we received a statement from Toyota Financial Services indicating we still owed the $ XXXX. I called Toyota Financial Services on XX/XX/XXXX and they informed me they had n't received a payoff from the dealership. I immediately called the dealership and was told they would email the Finance Director who would take care of it. On XX/XX/XXXX I followed up and found nothing had been done. I spoke with the Finance Director who assured me the check would be sent to Toyota Financial Services. They sent me a copy of the check and the tracking number. The representative at Toyota Financial Services could not find the check with the information I provided and instructed me to fax a copy of the check and tracking information to the escalation department which I did. She also suggested that if I did n't want it to affect my credit I should make the payment of {$760.00} which I found totally ridiculous. I was just contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX and was told that the check has not cleared and they are sending me proof that the check was signed for by someone at the company. Now I 'm having to jump through hoops to try to track down this payment and have been told there is nothing that can be done re. my credit and that I would just have to dispute any negative marks. This unacceptable and should not be tolerated especially when I 've done nothing wrong. Please help,
