Complaint: I have an auto loan with Toyota. My monthly payment is XXXX. I have had this auto loan since XX/XX/XXXX and have mostly paid by the due date. There have been a few times that I have made some payments past the due date but I have never been 30 days late. The few times I have had to make the payment past the due date has been because I worked 3 jobs and do not always get enough hours during the month to pay the car payment immediately and have to wait until my next check to pay the full XXXX.Despite this, I always have paid every month and have never been 30 days late. Last XXXX, I didn't work at one of my jobs for two weeks because my employer didn't need me. I knew I would need to wait a few weeks to make this car payment so I called Toyota. I told them I would need until the end of the XXXX but didn't want to be 30 days late on the XXXX payment. The representative helping me said that I would be ok until XX/XX/XXXX as XX/XX/XXXX was a holiday and wouldn't count as a day. I made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX.XXXX payment was marked 30 days late despite the information that the representative told me when I spoke to her over the phone.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX 2017 I received a letter from Toyota financial services stating that they will be sending me a refund of excess wear and use charge s, which they inadvertently charged on my previous loan lease- and that the refund would be provided under separate mailing, it has been almost a year and I have not received any further information- I tirelessly attempted to contact the company to get more information and they have acted like th y did not send me this letter or refrained from elaborating, this is unfair and deceptive practice, as far as I am concerned they have known th y have had my money for 9 months and have withheld it, meaning they now owe me some form of interest onntop of the original refund. Complaint: I have a loan payment with Toyota Financial services for a XXXX Toyota Corolla. I 've had the loan purchase since XX/XX/XXXX and I 've realized that the Financial Service are Double Billing me, with an already High Interest rate, then threaten repossession If I do n't pay the double charge. My balance over a years worth of made payments are not as it should be. I 've asked for a transaction history to compare my payments/receipts and sent my bank statement of the date I was first told in XX/XX/XXXX my Payment was not received. I have not been mail or sent a payment transaction history at all. The date the discrepancy in billing started, was XX/XX/XXXX. My payment amount is XXXX a month and they repeatedly, since XX/XX/XXXX say I have not caught up till this date and I 've made double payments on 3-4 occasions. I 've also paid my bill XXXX XXXX 3 times and on one of the occasions they said they did not have the payment If I did n't have my receipt, then said, " Oh! I see it here ''. Complaint: Toyota lease on a XXXX XXXX XXXX, 2 years, 24,000 miles. Extended the lease for 6 months as of XX/XX/XXXX. Turned in the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX, with 22,867 miles on the odometer. Car was in perfection condition. Received a bill from Toyota Financial Services dated XX/XX/XXXX, for {$970.00}, this includes the disposition fee of {$350.00}, a {$560.00} charge for a cargo cover, and a sales tax fee of {$57.00}. I was told that the disposition fee would be waved if I purchased/leased another Toyota within 30 days of returning my previous vehicle. I entered into negotiations on a new Toyota on XX/XX/XXXX, but the dealer did not have the car I wanted in stock, which I 'm waiting on. Toyota Financial says " Too late '' and I have to pay the {$350.00} disposition fee. The cargo cover charge far exceeds the actual cost to the consumer for a new cargo cover, listed at {$190.00}, on Toyota 's website, and genuine replacement cargo cover on XXXX for {$100.00}. I 've asked for a receipt for the cargo cover once they receive payment and at first they declined. I pushed them for a receipt and they said that they would look into whether or not they would provide me with one. I may be able to negotiate the disposition fee with the new dealership I 'm working with, or I may simply decide to buy a car from a different manufacturer especially since I believe Toyota has charged close to 3 times what the cargo cover actually costs.

Complaint: I took out a car loan with Toyota Financial Services in XX/XX/XXXX, the payments of XXXX were due on the XXXX of every month. After starting the contract with them I asked for a due date change, and we agreed on the XXXX of every month. TFS sent me paperwork to sign and I signed and sent it back. At this point the new due date is the XXXX of every month. The first payment according to the new contract with the new due date is XX/XX/XXXX. I began making my payments according to the the new agreed upon due date, however TFS has not been reporting the payment according to the due date of the XXXX, which has cause multiple additional fees and a negative credit reporting. They are being unreasonable with resolving the matter This is the second time I am trying to resolve this issue. The mere fact that Toyota updated 5 of the late payments that they were negatively reporting since XX/XX/XXXXis evidence that they make mistakes and obviously over look them for approximately 5years. Also It was mentioned by TFS rep that the statements that were mailed out had the due date of the XXXX on them, I never received the statements from Toyota because they failed to update my address as requested as well as my last name. I also would like to bring it to your attention that my XX/XX/XXXX payment is being reported as 30 days late and it is also not accurate. You guys received the payment to close the account and cash it well before the payment could be deemed 30days late. I need for the inaccuracy of late reporting to be removed and acknowledge that I had a due date of the XXXX and that TFS made a mistake Im not updating the information.

Complaint: On Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX Toyota picked up my Toyota Sienna in front of my house with no notification. I called Toyota to report it missing and that was when the agent informed me that it had been taken by them. I asked the agent why I was not notified prior by certified mail about the van going to be picked up and the agent said that a letter was sent in XX/XX/XXXX and I informed the agent that I did n't receive any such notice from Toyota. I asked the agent why it was not mailed certified to ensure there was proof and receipt I received it. The AGENT SAID TOYOTA DOES NOT SEND NOTICES CERTIFIED MAIL. However on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM TOYOTA POSTMARKED ON XX/XX/XXXX STATING THAT THE VAN WAS GOING TO BE SOLD AND ALSO PROVIDED INFO ON HOW TO GET IT BACK. But the agent had told me 3 days prior that Toyota does not send certified notice but then they did after they took the van. THIS IS DECEPTIVE PRACTICE. Toyota never sent me a repossession notice prior to repossessing the van. I was going to pay my account in full on XX/XX/XXXX after I got paid but Toyota took the van 2 days prior. Also the only thing I had received from Toyota in XX/XX/XXXX was a bill statement stating I had till XX/XX/XXXX to pay my amount due and the payment I was going to make on the XX/XX/XXXX would have brought my account up to date. I requested to speak to higher management and every time the agents refused to transfer me to higher management on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I then had requested to speak to Resolution Department on XX/XX/XXXX and the lady I spoke to XXXX was very rude, condescending to me and kept talking over me instead of listening to me and kept saying, " Why did n't you contact us before the van was repossessed? '' I explained to her I had no idea it was getting repossessed, because I would have called and made arrangements as I was planning on paying my amount due on XX/XX/XXXX after getting paid but she did not like my response and just kept asking the same question over and over and then she said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to another higher manager or corporate and she refused to transfer me and I kept insisting then she gave me a fax number to the Redemption Center for Toyota and I kept insisting to talk to someone higher and she was upset and said there was no one else to speak to which is a lie because there are bosses she answers to also and other people in the Corporate office but she just seemed like she did not want to help me or do her job. Then she said the only way was to pay my current amount due {$2300.00}, the {$480.00} repossession fee to Toyota plus a redemption fee of {$75.00} and a {$10.00} per day storage fee to the company holding the van. I asked why all of these are not on the loan agreement I have with Toyota and she rudely interrupted me and said that 's just the way it is. I also spoke to another male agent on XX/XX/XXXX about the same issue and he said that they are required to collect the repossession fee but I asked him to look at my contract about any such fee and he did for about 10 mins and said it does not state it on my contract but I am still required to pay it. He said Toyota made an agreement with the XXXX XXXX XXXX for them to charge Toyota repossession fee but that " Toyota is not going to eat the cost, '' and I have to pay it but I kept asking why I was NEVER NOTIFIED of the upcoming repossession and also told the agent that it is very unfair that Toyota made an agreement or contract with United Auto Recovery but make the customer responsible for the cost. That is very unfair and unjust, because the contract is between them and not between them and the consumer. After speaking to about 4 agents none of them can show me any info about where the consumer is responsible for all the fees they are charging with XXXX XXXX XXXX. PLUS TOYOTA NEVER SENT ME A REPOSSESSION NOTICE VIA MAIL. If it had been sent and I received it, I would have acted upon it immediately and about 2 weeks prior to the van been picked up by them, they sent just a bill stating the current amount owed had to be paid by XX/XX/XXXX but the bill did not mention anything about the van getting picked up on XX/XX/XXXX because of any non payment. I need Toyota to remove the repossession fees and the redemption fees because of their lack of proper notification to me about the upcoming repossession of the van and I asked all the agents i spoke to about the proof of receipt to me of the notice they claimed they sent in XX/XX/XXXX and they said they do n't have proof I received it or saw it but are adamant I have to pay them all these extra fees for their messing up and it is unfair and unjust.

Toyota, they have illegally possessed my car ... They made an agreement with me for XXXX for fee waiver, then I tried to pay online. Many times, I tried and was able one to make a payment for online and they I suppose they reject it and log me out my account. I called and just today was told they on purpose blocked me out of my online account. This way I was not able to make payment and stay on top of my fees and next think I know this guy tries to take my car. I talked with him and have a neighbor witness when he said the order to take my car went out the same day.. Wow the same day and already, without any notice at all. I did not get any mail.. In XXXX my mail box was closed and mail returned. I called and use confused with the high fee and they said it was due to my missed payment and I thought I made the payment and could n't confirm since they locked me out. The lady said as long as I make some payment it is ok and they will not take my car so I did and as you see she lied. I have phone call record to prove this and they should also redeem those records to prove the agreement made and it was breeched. Also the guy who towed my car breeched and lied to me the agreement. I did not get any notice or certified mail that is illegal. I initially thought the high fee was based on a disagreement of my car repairs, they got payed by my insurance company but in their angry revenge they tried to charge me {$2000.00} for storage, Toyota called and told me so I thought is was why Toyota also added extra {$2000.00} to my account. So I filed a small Claim lawsuit on Toyota last week and the following week in revenge they illegally took my car. After scamming me and charging me over {$5000.00} in interest and paying for the car twice, Lease XXXX and made me purchase w/o option since XXXX {$550.00} a month paying nearly {$50000.00} for a XXXX worth {$2000.00}. I need my money back from the interest, extra fees, restore credit, agree my car is payed in full and I owe noting else with this company. They on purpose locked me out the account so I could n't pay so they can take my car. NOw they also tried to have the repair company take my car and added those fees to my car {$2000.00} that is why I wanted to go online to see and figure out why all the sudden there was this large fee added to my account. The car company was payed but got made for me making a complaint and sent for a lien sale for storage fee after car was in my possession so that was illegal and they demanded cash. XXXX paid {$4000.00} cash and Toyota refused acknowledge the car market value of about {$2000.00} because they are greedy and want to take money from XXXX people as they did with that class action lawsuit against XXXX and XXXX people they charge 5 times interest to just to keep them in struggling and they ruin their credit on purpose. Talking about credit, Toyota breeched contract releasing my personal information and I have proof, allowing companies to access my data and personal information and they also without my permission had their sales guy run my credit like 10 times on purpose to many banks and by then my credit score dropped so then he says only these banks will accept you with high monthly loan payment {$700.00} but Toyota will only charge {$550.00} and this is the way they scammed me on purpose. Ran my credit on purpose, ruined my score and so companies refused to give me a good deal in result, while they come up with a smaller fee so they will get me to pay to them and not another company or bank. Car is payed off and give me title to my car.

Complaint: Please be advised that attempts to return the vehicle to XXXX XXXX, where it was original leased from, were made on XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( the due date ), and again on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and each time Toyota refused to accept delivery of the vehicle. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, we went to Toyota to return the vehicle, as per the Toyota employee 's instructions. XXXX XXXX refused delivery and told us that the leasee must be present at the time of delivery to sign certain documents for the dealership to accept delivery of the vehicle. We told him that Toyota representative was advised leasee was out of the country ( days before the due date ) and she confirmed that the leasee did not need to be present when the vehicle was being returned because the leasee was not interested in purchasing the vehicle. XXXX response was ( she ) does not have the authority to make such decisions therefore it was irrelevant and we were told Toyota could not accept delivery at that time. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, we contacted Toyota to advise that there was an executed a Power of Attorney authorizing her agent to sign the forms and return the vehicle on her behalf. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I went to Toyota with the original Power of Attorney to deliver the vehicle, as per XXXX instructions. I spoke with XXXX and advised that I had Power of Attorney and was legally authorized to sign whatever forms to return the vehicle. XXXX refused to look at the Power of Attorney, and further stated that Toyota was not legally obligated to take back the vehicle at their dealership and his boss was the person who would decides if they will take the vehicle back. I asked what the alternative was, XXXX refused to provide any assistance. Furthermore, XXXX stated that because I had an attitude he wasnt obligated to help me. I asked him for the telephone number of the dealerships legal department so that I can fax a copy of the Power of Attorney for their review and approval and he refused, reiterating that his boss was the person who needed to make the decision. I advised that I would like to have my attorney contact his boss to confirm my legal authority to act on behalf of my mother, he said that I was threatening him with lawyers and didnt like my attitude and proceeded asked me to leave the premises. Upon being asked to leave the premises I contacted the bank, XXXX, to ask for assistance returning the vehicle. XXXX in the XXXX XXXX Department advised that although the lease agreement between Toyota and the Leasee may not specify the exact place that the vehicle is to be returned at the end of the lease, the agreement between Toyota and XXXX does state that Toyota is contractually obligated to accept delivery of the vehicle at the end of the lease term. To date, I still have possession of the car, it is overdue, and the bank has had to intervene on my behalf to get them to fulfill their contractual obligation to myself and the bank, XXXX.

Complaint: I had a lease with Toyota Financial Services. On XX/XX/XXXX, I turned in on-time my completedXX/XX/XXXXPrius leased vehicle. At the dealer location, upon returning the vehicle I documented that the car was in mint condition by taking videos and photos and visual inspection with the Toyota dealer sales manager. I was surprised to receive a bill datedXX/XX/XXXXin the mail for {$2300.00} demanding payment byXX/XX/XXXX according to Toyota Financial Services records citing the car was severely damaged including extensive hail damage on the hood, roof, left front fender, left panel, and lift gate as well as extensive vandalism damage to the front bumper cover, grille, front fender, back bumper, windshield, left and right doors and right panel. I called the Toyota Financial Services Leasing Department several times to dispute the charges. Bill, a Toyota Financial Services employee with ID # XXXX refused to escalate the case further. I was instructed to send my photos, videos and other support of my dispute to the Toyota Financial Services, Dispute Resolution Department, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX AZ XXXX. I also spoke with XXXX XXXX the General Sales Manager at XXXX XXXX XXXX dealership where I turned in the leased vehicle and he verified that XXXX XXXX dealership has had no hail damage to any vehicles on his lot and XXXX XXXX stated that " if hail had occurred that damage would have shown up on 800+ cars on my lot which did not happen ''. I was told that it is the conclusion of the internal investigation of the Toyota dealership that all proper procedures were followed by myself and the dealership and the claim is not valid. I was told to include this in my dispute to Toyota Financial Services on their claim against me which I did. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a registered letter through the US Postal Service, Proof of delivery XX/XX/XXXX attached. Many photos of car showing all angles that there is no damage to vehicle. 3 ) Signed written testimonial of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Motors Sales Manager on the authenticity of the digital videos and photos being taken at the dealership on the date XX/XX/XXXX during the Odometer disclosure and grounding procedure. ( Video take at grounding shows XXXX XXXX in process of taking the odometer reading ). 4 ) 360 degree video of my car at dealership at the time of grounding while the odometer reading being conducted by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Motors Sales Manager. Video time date stamp XX/XX/XXXX 5 ) Toyota Financial Services claim of damages I have not received any response from Toyota Financial Services Leasing Department on my dispute. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill collection call from XXXX employee ID XXXX at Toyota Financial Services Leasing Department and she saw no record of my dispute or any action taken by Toyota Financial Services Leasing on the bill which they are still actively trying to collect from me. I have done all procedures requested and I fear that my credit rating will be adversely affected by Toyota Financial Services Leasing Department collection actions and their failure to take appropriate actions on my dispute.

Complaint: I took out a car loan with Toyota Financial Services in XXXX XXXX, the payments of XXXX were due on the XXXX of every month. After starting the contract with them I asked for a due date change, and we agreed on the XXXX of every month. TFS sent me paperwork to sign and I signed and sent it back. At this point the new due date is the XXXX of every month. The first payment according to the new contract with the new due date is XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I began making my payments according to the the new agreed upon due date, however XXXX has not been reporting the payment according to the due date of the XXXX, which has cause multiple additional fees and a negative credit reporting. They are being unreasonable with resolving the matter.
