Problems at the end of the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Problem with paying off the loan
Complaint: I trade in my Toyota Lease into XXXX XXXX XX/XX/17 i have the proof of the trade in, and the contract saying how much I will get for my lease. I paid my monthly payment for that lease XX/XX/XXXX, so after that statement close, I started to receiving my statements with no payments, so I contact Toyota Financial and they make me contact XXXX to get the check to pay off the lease, after to many proofs Toyota keep sending me late payments to me and the cosigner, I called them several times and they explained me that they need some papers, and i keep telling them that I was not the owner anymore. Thanks for the XXXX 's seller I get the copy of the check of the pay off of that vehicle XX/XX/XXXX then they asked for another paycheck and XXXX sent too XX/XX/XXXX. I have the proof to who they was talking but they never end to bother me. After 60 days or more I received one of the awful calls and then finally the lady told me that they had all the papers there but they never submitted on his companies, she apologize and close the loan. After to many months I decided to buy another car and my surprise was they showed me how bad was my credit and my history with that lease ofcourse I tried to explain but doesn't matter because now its on my record something that I didn't supposed to be involved, and after 20 good payments on that car and building my credit. I want to be erase from my credit report or someone need to fix this problem. Thanks

Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Difficulty submitting a dispute or getting information about a dispute over the phone
Complaint: I had the following account with XXXX XXXX XXXX for the last several years covering two cars. XXXX. Both of these cars were paid monthly using the autopay feature of the website. The lease on this car ( XXXX ) was extended by me over the phoen with XXXX. I was unaware at the time and was not told the monthly payment ( on the same ar was actually going up ) Either way that affected how the XXXX autopay system works as it was paying the old amount. The original payment was {$320.00} and the payment rose to {$340.00}. The autopay should have paid the entire payment which was due, not the old payment. That is highly unusual to set an autopay and the proper payment is not made. I called and was told that I had to manually turn off the autopay to make the payment and turn it back on which I did. I was then out of the country for several weeks and was unaware of any issue. I came back and once notified, this was corrected immediately.. In order to do this I had to turn off the autopay to make the {$79.00} payment. After making that payment I turned on the autopay which had been on covering both of my accounts for several years. Any issue that happened was a technical issue on the website. I have documented that every single payment on both of my accounts was always paid on time and on autopay since the loans were opened. I called the company on XX/XX/18 and they were unwilling to resolve this matter without me making a formal complaint. They have market my account delinquent which has a very negative impact on my credit.

Attempts to collect debt not owed

Debt collection: Auto debt

Debt is not yours
Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, after 36 months of payments, I returned my car at the end of its lease to XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Nevada, and exchanged it for a new one. The dealership asked for both keys for the car I was returning. I said I only have one because the other one was stolen. The dealership asked whether I could produce a police report. I said yes and sent them a police report clearly showing the XXXX key among the items stolen. The police report is attached. They asked if I was reimbursed for this and I said no because my deductible was too high. The dealership ( XXXX and/or XXXX ) said that would be fine not to turn in the second key as I had a police report, and that all was taken care of. The car was returned in pristine condition and no other fees were charged to return the car. Several weeks later, in XX/XX/XXXX, I got a bill from Toyota Financial for {$400.00}. I called Toyota to ask what this is for, and was told it was for a missing key. I explained the above situation to them, and they said fine, thank you. I returned the invoice to them with a note repeating the above as well and thus do not have the original invoice to give you. For the second time, I thought the matter was done. But no. I subsequently got a call from the dealership in perhaps XX/XX/XXXX saying that Toyota did not waive the fee after all, and they felt bad about that, and would I like to split the cost with them? I told them no, that the cost of a key to XXXX was nowhere near {$400.00}, that the new owner already had their new key, and they needed to honor their deal as part of my taking on a new car lease. In addition, {$400.00} is also grossly inflated. The value of the key at the time it was stolen ( XX/XX/XXXX ) was reportedly {$220.00} according to the XXXX dealer ( invoice attached ) plus {$65.00} to rekey. I am now getting threats of collection from Toyota ( letter attached ). I have emailed Toyota through my account on their website and told them if they do not honor their agreement to waive the fee for the missing key, which clearly does not cost them anywhere close to that, that this would be the last car any of our family buys or leases from Toyota or XXXX. I told them hassling me over a missing key is not a way to take care of customers who have made thousands of dollars of lease payments on time for nearly four years now. I have not received a response. I can't believe I am wasting your time and mine over a key after now four years of on-time lease payments, but here we are. I would appreciate your intervention in getting Toyota to honor the dealership 's agreement to waive the fee for the missing key and stop hassling me with threats of collection activity. Thank you for your help.

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Problem with fees charged
Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a new vehicle through my XXXX company with a lease through XXXX XXXX via XXXX XXXX. After 3 months of owning the vehicle, the vehicle started having electrical problems with the dash and video components going blue or cutting off completely. We had the vehicle serviced and reviewed over a 5 month period continuing to make payments. After a XXXX Corporate Technician was flown in to review the vehicle problems, he was able to duplicate the problem and said the vehicle is not able to be repaired because the vehicle could not withstand a software update. Therefore, XXXX XXXX sends me a letter stating they are reviewing my vehicle for the Lemon Law in the state of Alabama. After receiving the letter and the vehicle is not able to be repaired and could be a hazard based on the electrical issue, I stopped making payments to XXXX XXXX because the vehicle is unsafe and not operating in a manner I am comfortable to put my family in. Because I stopped making payments, XXXX XXXX starting calling me and asking for an explanation why I was not making payments. Each week over a 6 week period they would call at least once or twice a week asking for payment and I would tell them the problem and they would tell me okay but someone else is going to call soon to ask again for payment and an explanation. Each time I would give the explanation and have the person calling to review the notes and they would say the same thing. This week Of XX/XX/XXXX, I received a XXXX Update on my credit score stating my score had dropped due to an outstanding payment over 30 days with XXXX XXXX. I feel as if XXXX XXXX and Corporation are being unfair about me making payments on a car that is unsafe to drive and can not be repaired. I feel as if they bullied me into trying to make me make payments on a vehicle they can not repair and could be a hazard to my family driving it. I will upload all files for review.

Billing problem
Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 I bought a BRAND NEW XXXX XXXX from XXXX of XXXX for {$36000.00}. The Bill of Sale said the truck was " New '' and had VIN # XXXX. I put 10 % down in cash and financed the remainder of this truck with Toyota Financial Services. However, XXXX of XXXX did not provide me the truck on my Bill of Sale. They actually provided with a used and defective truck -- with over $ XXXX in body work and a complete engine replacement -- with the VIN # XXXX. Over the course of the next 79 days XXXX of XXXX attempted to keep me in the dark all the while knowing that they had given me the wrong truck. Instead of trying to fix the problem by giving me the truck listed on my Bill of Sale, they attempted to do a " title swap '' which would have stuck me with the pre-owned and defective truck and not the truck I had purchased on paper. XXXX of XXXX went to great lengths to keep me in the dark about the fact that they had actually given me a used and defective truck ( see attached complaint ). Nearly three ( 3 ) months later I received the correct truck but neither XXXX of XXXX nor Toyota Financial Services has helped me correct the financial situation. Specifically, I should not be responsible for the car and insurance payments for the 79 days where I did not even possess the new truck as a result of their intent to defraud me. Additionally, the XXXX XXXX XXXX depreciated greatly over the course of those 79 days leading up to XXXX ( by {$6300.00} according to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) so the final purchase price would need to be adjusted for depreciation. A full and complete complaint, with exhibits, is attached.

Unable to receive car title or other problem after the loan is paid off
Complaint: I paid off my loan on XX/XX/XXXX and after calling to see how long it wold take to receive the title I was given different answers every time I called from 2-3 days, 7-10 days to 15-30 days. I called at least twice a month since I paid it off and as of today I still have not received it or the payoff letter that they said I was supposed to receive. The last conversation I had was XX/XX/XXXX and was told by XXXX ( she would not give me a last name or operator number ) in the " Resolution Dept. '' that she would resend the payoff letter that I should receive in 7-10 days and that they would send me a duplicate title which would take an additional 2-4 weeks but they would send it XXXX. She told me she would call me today at XXXX to confirm everything but I did not hear from her. The case number is # XXXX. I asked her to let me know how many times I had called and she said she could not look up the calls unless I gave her specific dates that I called even though the people who I spoke to in " Customer Service '' seemed to be able to pull them up on their computer when I spoke with them.
