Complaint: On XXXX XXXX 2017 my credit report was pulled by Target, which was not authorized. There is a consumer statement on my credit report requiring all lenders to call me before extending credit in my name. Target called and I told them I did not request a Target Credit Card nor did/do I give them authorization to pull my credit report. I instructed them to remove any inquires from my credit report, which still has not been done.

Complaint: I have a checking account and credit card with TD bank. I use TD on line banking to review my balance, transactions, and credit card payment due amount. I 've never had late payments for the credit cards for years, until recently because TD on line banking reported an innaccurate payment due amount. I suspected something was wrong about the amount due ( account balance was less than {$250.00} ) was stated as XXXX amount due in XXXX of 2017. I sent a payment of {$25.00} anyways, and sent a message to on line banking asking why the payment amount was XXXX. The reply I received some time later was to contact the credit card company department. There was no mention in the reply that the TD on line banking information about the credit card payment due was innacurate. Two months went by. I am out of the country and did not incur the expense and time to call the credit card department. Therefore the TD ON LINE banking payment due amount was wrong the following two months also. But I gussed for a balance less than 250.00 that XXXX was n't right so I sent {$25.00} each month. Turns out I gussed wrong and was short {$10.00} each month. I discovered this when I looked at my credit card transactions and saw a {$35.00} late payment fee for each of the previous 3 months. I 've never had late payment problems before. This was caused by TD on line banking reporting an incorrect payment due amount. Customer service told me I needed to go to a different web page for accurate credit card payment info, not initially, but after I discovered the problem 3 months later. I understand banks have different systems and departments. But customers would NOT expect the same bank with on line banking to report innacurate data because it is a different system on the back end. If they can not figure out how to look like 1 bank externally, they would be better off reporting no information than reporting innacurate information. This is clearly a poor business practice, if not illegal. On XXXX XXXX, 2017, I spoke with customer service which cost at least {$30.00} for the international call. I explained what happened. I requested 3 things happen 1. ). Reverse all the late payment charges. 2. ). Restore my credit limit to the original amount 3. ). Reverse any negative credit bureau reporting if negative information was reported customer service handled reversing the late charges directly, but said " corporate '' had to address number 2 snd 3 above. They sent a messasge portraying the situation and my requests to corporate. It is now XXXX XXXX, 2017. I 've called every month since and customer service said they have not heard back from corporate. This is totally unacceptable. Each of st least 5 phone calls cost {$30.00} each, and why must I call at all? Is n't over 4 months enough time to reverse the actions especially considering it is not my fault that the on line banking could not report accurate credit card payment due amounts to begin with? It is the same bank, TD BANK. I believe this is bad practice or illegal and I am angry that my perfect credit record could be impacted by a shortage of {$10.00} a month for 3 months due to a bank bad practice. What do I want? 1. ) I want assurance that any negative information to the credit bureau is reversed 2. ) I want my credit limit restored While I believe TD bank on line banking is responsible for the problem, therefore checking account department, I have been dealing with the credit card department to reverse the damage above that was caused. the name on the credit card is XXXX XXXX XXXX Last 8 digits are XXXX XXXX Case number with customer service is XXXX Phone number I use is XXXX XXXX is the supervisor I spoke with on XXXX-XXXX-2017. Complaint: yes, i applied for a td bank pre paid credit card and the banker at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NJ XXXX said i would be ok with this. he helped me and was very nice. however, td bank stole my money, this secured account was overdrawn illegally, and i never got the prepaid card i was approved for and i lost hrs of my time XXXX $ and my credit suffered. td bank has again stolen my money with incompetence. additionally i always put money into td bank change and that was a scam and a fraud from td bank and i demand an accounting of all the change i used in their money machaine.

Complaint: TD Bank USA, who used XXXX XXXX, and then is using Law Offices XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX - who continue collection actions after a debt has been discharged by the XXXX Bankruptcy Court of XXXX ( XXXX, XXXX # XXXX ). My husband received a community discharge from the court in XXXX 2017 -- - As you may know, XXXX is where my husband lives and works and XXXX where I reside they are both community property states. In these states, property, and debt acquired during the marriage is considered the joint property of both spouses. As a result, in community property states, we each are entitled to a one half-share of all marital property and equally responsible for all community debts, also known as marital debts. When the Federal Judge closed my husbands bankruptcy case, and since we both reside in XXXX and XXXX, we are automatically protected by what is known as a community discharge. Which means that if we received a community discharge, even if my husband filed alone. The debt that was acquired during our marriage either in our names or my name or his name that discharge extends to me as well. Creditors such as TD Bank are prohibited from attempting to collect the debt from me since I share XXXX of the marital property, both presently and acquired in the future. Even after TD Bank has received many notices, and a notice from CPBD and the FDIC - they continued to send me invoices during the bankruptcy automatic stay. This community discharge only lasts for the life of the marriage. Please see section 524 of the Bankruptcy Code.

Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam I have been a long time Target customer ; I used Target red card to do my purchases. Target used to send me the card statement in a paper format using the US mail. I have never missed or delayed a payment. I decided in XXXX to convert from paper format to an electronic format to save Target paper and money. I made a purchase in XX/XX/XXXX for the amount of {$100.00} never received any email notification to pay the bill. I checked all my email account history including the spam, did not find any correspondence from Target regarding the due balance. However, there were a number of advertising emails I received from Target. The only notification I got was a phone call onXX/XX/XXXX telling me that I have been a few months late and the balance now stands at {$170.00} including {$69.00} late fees and penalties. Target also tarnished my credit score which declined from XXXX to XXXX. I was very disappointed, paid the total balance on the spot, cancelled my account, shredded the card and decided to never buy anything from Target again. I strongly feel that I was mistreated by the Target organization and the action they took against me is unlawful and unjustifiable. Can I seek legal action against Target to restore my credit and to prevent this shameful incident from happening to other people?

When I called to complain, the bank stated that if changed its internal system to process the account and show availability funds only at the time when the transaction is settled. Formerly, the bank used to process payments at the time of authorization, which would seem more appropriate given our real-time processing environment today. For example, I showed an available balance at XXXX for {$220.00} this morning. I checked my balance at XXXX and now have a balance of {$20.00}, as I was charged a {$100.00} in overdraft fees.

Complaint: TD BANK CONTINUALLY APPLIES AND HOLDS FUNDS IN A WAY AS TO MAXIMIZE THEIR BANKING FEES. THEY PUT A HOLD ON MONEY AFTER THEY INDICATE IT ISNT BEING HELD THEN IF YOU USE THE FUNDS THINKING THEY ARENT BEING HELD THEY CHARGE YOU OVER DRAFT FEES. THEY WITHDRAW THE MONEY FOR A CHECK PRESENTED THEN DECIDE THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH FUNDS TO COVER THE CHECK SO THEY RETURN IT BUT DO NOT CREDIT THE FUNDS TO THE ACCOUNT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. Complaint: on saturday XXXX XXXX 2017 i deposited my tenants TD bank account check for {$7700.00} into my TD bank checking account. on sunday it said the funds were pending. on monday it said the funds were pending. on tuesday morning the funds cleared and were deposited into my account. i needed to write checks out so to be sure i called the banks customer service line and they said the funds were from a TD account to a TD account and they were in there go ahead and write your checks. i then proceeded to write out checks and send them out. that night i went into my account to transfer funds and noticed my account was in the negative. i called customer service and they apologized and said i should go to speak to the bank. i went the next morning and they were sorry but said they should have never said to write my checks.i said the funds were cleared to my account that i should n't be responsible, they should. I feel they should be going after the person who wrote the check since she is a TD bank customer and it was a TD bank account and they cleared the money. This is n't a small amount I can make good on. Why should I have to make good on the monies and go after her when they told me the funds were OK to write checks on and use and I have proof the funds were cleared in my account. even in the overdraft letter they sent me it states the funds are usually available the next business day unless an extended hold is placed and that the deposits show as pending until the funds are fully available for use. another customer service rep called me wednesday to apologize and say they will use my case in training. i told them they should be going after their client since they cleared the funds not me and it was n't right i should have to scramble to make good on the checks i wrote. they said they would credit my account for the trouble {$50.00}.

Complaint: As someone who lives paycheck to paycheck there are always more bills at the end of the money however in a 6 week period TD BANK has charged me over {$800.00} in overdraft fees virtually ruining my ability to pay my bills as {$800.00} is more than 1/2 of a paycheck. They refuse to forgive any of it. I have overdraft protection but bills that would have cleared with no problem did NOT and I was assessed more fees. As a result of this I have had to use credit cards to buy something as small as a pretzel because I have no cash and am petrified to use my atm card. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I want these fees refunded and then I plan on changing banks. I have already tried to switch banks but TD does not seem to want to release my money. I will be happy to supply you with my account number so that you can investigate this thoroughly.

Complaint: OnXX/XX/XXXX I was instructed by a representative of XXXX XXXX ( XXXX, XXXX ), XXXX XXXX XXXX in NY, to wire {$65000.00} to the account of XXXX XXXX , XXXX at TD Bank, Florida for the purpose of purchasing a money clearance document, for the alleged {$11.00} Million in cash sent for purchase of raw material / XXXX XXXX that XXXX XXXX, XXXX requested for allegedly use for medical equipment that they produce in XXXX and also have offices in the US ( i.e. XXXX, CA ). From XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX spoke with me on the phone and said that the $ XXXX wire-transfer has not been received and on the XX/XX/XXXX he suggested that I request the funds be returned something was wrong. According to my then bank, XXXX XXXX, onXX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me a copy of a communication from TD Bank advising that the subject $ XXXX funds will not be returned ( see copy herewith ) in regards to my case # XXXX. At this point, I strongly suspect that TD Bank was involved with XXXX XXXX , XXXX in defrauding me, and likely others based on XXXX XXXX phone comments to me stating that multiple claims were filed against the XXXX XXXX , XXXX account at TD Bank, some over $ 100K. To date, no detail has been provided, however, I received an email from XXXX XXXX confirming that the account holder is refusing to return the $ XXXX wired funds without any explanation / cause. This is clearly grand theft since no transaction materialized when XXXX XXXX chose to move the cash overseas to the XXXX ( see attached email ) from XXXX XXXX. Additionally and curious, on XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from XXXX XXXX advising me that I would be receiving {$290.00} of the original $ XXXX even though my claim and the subject TD Bank account was allegedly frozen with my fraud claimXX/XX/XXXX. Clearly, something is wrong at TD Bank offering this {$290.00} token refund that is unacceptable and will not be cashed since received a cashier 's check from XXXX XXXX, not TD Bank as sad by XXXX XXXX to me. Please assist me in recovering all my money since this is clearly grand theft and a scam on me. I greatly appreciated your assistance in recovering my money..
