Complaint: My account has been debited by the bank itself ( TD BANK ) for {$140.00} saying it 's a photo adjusted amount.When I call customer care as I 'm in XXXX right now calling them overseas the customer care represtative gives me wrong information saying I deposited the same check twice and that 's why the amount was debited.His information was completely XXXX XXXX just like the banks customer service. I have deposited two different checks on two different days and I have a picture to prove it from the banks app itself. Check number XXXX was submitted on XX/XX/XXXX. Check number XXXX was submitted on XX/XX/XXXX. I need this amount of {$140.00} back into my account as I have copies clearly mentioning two different checks deposited on two different days. I have sent TD bank emails for a reply too as they convince us customers they would reply in 24 hours but their customer service is so pathetic, it makes me wonder why do such people open banks like this if they ca n't help customers when they are overseas!

Complaint: I am an American living in XXXX. Every month I transfer money from my TD XXXX Trust ( XXXX ) account to my TD Bank ( USA ) to pay my student loan. TD Bank charges {$15.00} USD for this transaction, but because of the account I have the transaction fee is supposed to be waived. TD Bank also charges {$15.00} USD per month for the checking account, but this fee is waived because I maintain a balance of {$100.00} USD. <P/>Last month, unbeknownst to me TD Bank charged me the wire transfer fee. Next, when my student loan was debited from the account, it caused my account to be charged the {$15.00} maintenance fee. Thus, TD Bank wrongly charged me {$30.00}. Upon discovering this error I called and was able to have the fee reversed after an hour of being passed around on the phone. <P/>This month I can see that they have again charged me the {$15.00} transfer fee. From my TD XXXX Trust account I can only see the total of my TD Bank account -- I can not see all transactions -- but I can see that it is {$15.00} short. When I try to log into my TD Bank account to see the transactions in detail I am now locked out of the account. When I called to get the account unlocked they refused and implied that I am an impostor or identity thief. <P/>Next, I had to go to a TD XXXX Trust branch to show them my I.D . The employees at TD XXXX Trust said they would try to call TD Bank, but the issue has yet to be resolved. <P/>TD Bank is trying to defraud their account holders of fees. More so, TD Bank is trying to make it difficult for account holders to discover their " mistakes '' and have them corrected.

Complaint: Looking for help in resolving a misunderstanding that has cost me {$140.00} in late fees and negative impact on credit report. Began earlier this year when I discovered my old Target credit card had expired I applied for a new one. I later learned, however, that my previous online profile does not carry over from one card to another and therefore, the settings I had in place to pay my account in full each month ( as I do with all my credit cards ), had been reset. In addition, I verified the settings were in place after the new purchase, but assume now I was seeing the old online profile. I assumed statements received were duplicative and the account was being paid. <P/>I never received other notifications from Target, by e-mail or by an identified phone caller. What I did receive, which I discovered in hindsight, were repeated robo-calls coming from a non-identified number that never left any voice mails. All this couldve been easily resolved with a simple phone message or e-mail notification. <P/>It was not until I received a letter from the collection agency that I became aware of the matter and when I did, I immediately brought my account up to date. However, by this point, there was no ability ( or willingness ) to adjust late fees and my original a {$56.00} purchase had ballooned to nearly {$180.00}.

Complaint: I have some weird harassing legal office calling me about some client with TD bank that states someone fraudulently opened an account in my name in XXXX in New Jersey and there is some fee or loan that needs to be paid off and/or have someone appear in court to dispute this fraudulent account. The person who calls is by the name XXXX XXXX and the legal office is called XXXX, they stated they were unable to give me the name of the client however it has something to do with the fraudulent account opened in my name at a location in XXXX near XXXX XXXX in New Jersey. The number for XXXX XXXX at the legal office XXXX is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. <P/>I have never in my life lived in XXXX nor have I ever lived in XXXX XXXX. I also have no idea where those places are located as I have never even been there before. I am a resident of New York, Specifically XXXX, NY and I have resided here ( been living here ) for over 15 years. I never have banked with TD bank and I have never had an account nor have I ever opened an account with TD bank.

Complaint: I 've called and written in to Target Card Services several time in which I have proof of signature of documents sent. I have one Target card account however a duplicate account is appearing on my XXXX credit Report only. XXXX and XXXX have one account and the correct info etc. I have asked Target to review the duplicate account that reflects incorrectly a credit limit of {$300.00} with a balance of {$420.00} over the credit limit. In addition the correct account does reflect with my credit line currently at {$1100.00}. I have been disputing this information with both XXXX and Target and received response that the duplicate over the limit account is correct. However when I call into customer service I am told its incorrect. None the less after writting to Target Legal department and Credit Line department I received a letter dated for XX/XX/XXXX inwhich I am attaching a copy to this file. Its stating from Target that they found the account to be a duplicate and have notified the credit bureaus to remove the duplicate account. I have waited well over 30 days going currently 45 days at this point and time and no update have been made. I am in the process of seeing to purchase a home and the mortgage company is questioning about paying down my over the limit Target Credit Card. I am not able to because its not correct and this is killing my credit score per the credit utilization reporting. I have spoken to several supervisor at Target. The last supervisor was very helpful but finally called me on XX/XX/XXXX to informed there is nothing more she can do for me. This is unacceptable when clearly Target had admitted to fault and have not fix the mistake and hardship they have caused me. Her name is XXXX and her phone number at Target is XXXX direct. <P/><P/> thanks XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: This complaint is about TD BANK. ON XXXX / XXXX / 2017 was charged a maintenance fee {$25.00} even though the account balance was more than minimum. TD bank calculates balance based on pending transactions before they clear. Example : Min Balance requirement : XXXX Charge of XXXX pending deposit of XXXX pending While pending balance becomes XXXX for time being and then when posted, the ending balance becomes XXXX = XXXX They still charge maintenance fees of {$25.00} since the account went below the min req. in pending status. This type of calculation should not be allowed. They should be charging fees after the transactions are settled. XXXX We contact TD bank and they said this is their standard business policy. Maintenance fees should be only charged when the balance actually goes below the min req.

On XXXX XXXX , 2017 I opened a premium checking account and convenience checking account as brand new customer. According to promotional offer, If customer make {$2500.00} direct deposit can get {$300.00} bonus for premium checking. If customer make {$500.00} direct deposit for convenience checking can get {$150.00} bonus. Followed by these requirements, I had direct deposit more than {$2500.00} on XXXX XXXX , 2017 to my premium checking within 60 days and another direct deposit more than {$500.00} to my convenience checking on XXXX XXXX , 2017 within 30 days. I had asked bank numerous times including personal visit to branch, secured message, over the phone etc. to pay. However this bank used different excuse to refuse to pay {$450.00} bonus. XXXX had just purchased XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Dealership located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, GA XXXX. We both were members of XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX actively encouraged members to secure favorable, better than market purchases, purchases with given dealerships. Such opportunities being one of the benefits of XXXX XXXX memberships. I asked XXXX to find a new full equipped XXXX XXXX. For what ever reason he could n't or would n't deliver on that and asked me if a used vehicle would work and I agreed for a low mileage XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX we closed a long distance transaction on a XXXX XXXX XXXX. All of XXXX 's paperwork showed this vehicle as a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. However I later learned that this was actually a XXXX model with XXXX miles. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Cell XXXX, was the sales person whom I did n't speak with until all paperwork for signatures for purchase. Whenever I phoned XXXX to inquire about the delay in moving forward with my purchase he never indicated that financial institutions were declining me. Then after we closed the transaction about six different financial institution 's decline letters began arriving. This gets us to my perception that this was a fraudulent loan transaction. And I just paid off my loan effective XX/XX/XXXX. <P/>As indicated earlier I personally met XXXX. So he knew that I was XXXX XXXX. One of the several attachments that I 'm forwarding you shows my then credit score was XXXX. Therefore I 'm confused about the justification or merit in enjoying a 7.59 % T. D. Auto Finance loan also evidenced on one of the attached documents. Finally it is my hope that reasonableness and fair play, equity is yet available even at this delayed date.
