Complaint: I am trying to modify or apply for a forbearance on my home equity loan with Specialized Loan Servicing. I sent all my required documentation to them via mail and uploads. They kept stating that they needed additional documents which I uploaded several times. I was never contacted by them via email or phone which seems strange. The communication with this company is awful and researching them and reading reviews it seems this is their way of dealing with consumers. I wish my loan was never transferred to them. I received a letter for them dated XX/XX/19 stating that they conducted a review of my application for relief options and they are unable to evaluate me. I have sent everything they have requested as I said and they continue to state they do not have all the required documents. I intend to keep my home and would like to have options as to getting help with this.

Complaint: I had a frozen bank account and my mortgage payment for XXXX was paid late in early XXXX. My credit report after 3 requests and disputes shows XXXX still missed. XXXX XXXX and XXXX are paid. I have no arrears yet it now shows 2 late payments or missed. This has destroyed my credit and dropped me nearly 200 points. It has caused banks to reduce my facility on all cards and this should not be allowed especially after disputing the information provided to XXXX and XXXX. I am current and have no missed payments on my mortgage account with SLS. I attach my payment record and a current statement from SLS to show no arrears and next payment due XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: First, SLS LLC is reporting my home mortgage account summary and all monthly payments with the following comment " ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Real Estate Mortgage ; Loan Modified Under a Federal Government Plan ''. This is correct, it was under XXXX and, as such, is a negative reference. The modification was done in XXXX and, since over seven years have passed, the statement should be removed from all Credit Bureau submissions by SLS LLC. Second, SLS LLC is reporting the payments made in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX were less than the scheduled amounts. Also, in XX/XX/XXXX, they show no scheduled nor paid amounts. Since SLS LLC has been autodrafting my checking account since they acquired my account from XXXX XXXX, the scheduled payments and paid amounts should always match.

Complaint: I was very far behind on my mortgage because my husband was unemployed for 10 months a couple of years ago. He was older so it was difficult getting a new job, he has one now. Our loan was sold by XXXX XXXX to Specialized Loan Servicing effective XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX, I received default notices and intent to foreclose. I called XXXX and asked to pay ALL OF MY PAST FEES and did that at that time. I also paid thru XX/XX/XXXX and was current. After that they added additional late fees, two of them were waived. However, they have kept on a {$15.00} " property inspection '' fee that they say was incurred on XX/XX/XXXX. No one came to inspect my property and my loan was current. Now they will not waive this additional fee and I feel this is not fair since I am current on this loan. I specifically asked to pay everything I was behind on and did in XXXX. Now they seem to be using this as an excuse to extract additional fees from me and I don't think that is fair. They are impossible to reach by phone and it takes them every bit of 30 days to respond to me which I find completely onerous. Thank you.

Complaint: My mortgage was with XXXX XXXX. As of XX/XX/19 my mortgage was sold to Specialized Loan Services. When the Loan was transferred I was up to date on payments. I received an Escrow refund from XXXX XXXX for {$170.00}. When finally Received a Bill from The new mortgage company at the end of XXXX there were additional charges of {$370.00}. No one could tell me what the are for. A Statement say that it is delinquent taxes. But when I called SLS they couldn't say what it was for. on XX/XX/19 I sent in writing to SLS a request for info on the charges and have not received anything but an acknowledgement that they received my letter. My taxes are paid through my mortgage if they were paid late by the mortgage company I don't feel that I should have to pay a late fee., If that is what the fee is for. I have been paying my mortgage but my last statement said they will not that a partial payment because I have not paid this charge.

Complaint: We are attempting to refinance our home. Our current mortgage is through Specialized Loan Servicing. We requested to refi our current loan with them and they said they do not originate loans in Nevada. We then contacted a local bank and are in the process of doing the refinance with them. The title company ordered the payoff from SLS on XX/XX/XXXX and as of today, XX/XX/XXXX, we still do not have the payoff. We have been calling SLS since XX/XX/XXXX trying to get the payoff and they have said that because our home is in Nevada, they have to manually create the payoff and that we are in the queue. We have spoken to reps nearly everyday from SLS, many have said that they are waiting for some kind of Addendum to be able to produce the payoff and some have even said it is already done and has been sent. We have escalated this situation multiple times with SLS and are always assured they are working on it. Our loan rate lock is about to expire and it will end up costing us money, as the rates now are higher. We feel that SLS is not in any hurry and is going to ultimately cost us money and/or cause us to lose our loan completely due to their own internal issues. We are not sure where else to turn, as they refuse to give us a corporate phone number and we aren't sure where to turn.
