Complaint: I modified my loan XX/XX/XXXX. I have been making my regular contractual monthly mortgage payments each month since then. In XX/XX/XXXX I noticed that my web access was cut off and called to find out why. I was advised on the phone that my mortgage was 1 month delinquent. I reviewed my checking account statements and I made very single monthly payment on time. I wrote to the mortgage company for an explanation and I received the attached letter dated XX/XX/XXXX which stated that prior to the modification on XX/XX/XXXX they mistakenly applied {$660.00} to my loan. on XX/XX/XXXX my modification and new loan agreement took effect and I made my payments timely. In XX/XX/XXXX they took my monthly mortgage payment reveresed it took {$660.00} and placed {$1500.00} in a suspense account thus making my mortgage delinquent one month. They did this without ever notifying me of their actions. I am now being threatened with foreclosure for their error.

Complaint: I have asked for a history of our payments twice now so we can see what we have paid in late payments, how much we owe and when we can get our PMI dropped. Both times they have told us due to our bankruptcy judgement they can only send us XXXX type of history but not what I am requesting, yet neither time that they have said they will send us what that can have we received anything. How can I get some information about the mortgage we are paying on, some what to see what we have been paying and how those payments are being applied. They seem to be able to send us info on our escrow account, when those payments change, how come we ca n't get any info on the mortgage Itself?

Complaint: I applied for a loan modification with Seterus, Inc. in XX/XX/2016. All required documentation and trial payments were completed in XX/XX/2016. My ex-spouse filed bankruptcy, I was able to purchase his interest in the property from his bankruptcy trustee. I hired an attorney to draw up a quit claim deed, and my ex-spouse 's Bankruptcy Trustee signed on my ex-husbands behalf. The Quit Claim Deed is approved and recorded by the Bankruptcy Court and is filed in the County Courts. I provided Seterus with the Quit Claim Deed. I received Loan mod confirmation letter from Seterus in XX/XX/2016. XX/XX/2016 was to begin my 1st new modified payment, I even received a confirmation letter from Seterus stating my automatic payments will be drafted from my account starting XX/XX/2016. The payment was not processed, I inquired by calling the customer service number in XX/XX/XXXX to find out why the payment was not taken, only to discover Seterus had an issue with Quit Claim Deed I submitted. I was told I had to submit in writing my concerns to the Correspondence Department and they would reply within 30 days. I typed a letter on XX/XX/XXXX asking Seterus to explain why they felt my Quit Claim Deed was invalid. Seterus told me they needed the recorded copy of the Quit Claim Deed. I sent another letter to the Correspondence Department on XX/XX/2016 along with the RECOREDED QUIT CLAIM DEED that was retrieved from the PACER System. I also explained my concern about feeling as though Seterus was drawing out the modification process. I submitted the recorded Quit Claim Deed as requested. I was told by the Customer Service Agent that my loan was being escalated and t Seterus only needed the recorded deed to continue to convert the loan. On XX/XX/2016, I received a Notice of Intent to Foreclose from Seterus. I was completely overwhelmed and confused by the written correspondence received in the mail. I quickly contacted the Customer Service Number and spoke to a representative who told me the modification was still active and the notices are sent out automatically and that I should not worry. The next day, I received another notice from Seterus dated XX/XX/XXXX thanking me for asking for assistance with my mortgage loan. I received yet another correspondence from Seterus dated XX/XX/2016 stating the Quit Claim Deed I submitted was not valid, as it was not signed by my ex-spouse. It further stated Seterus could not accept the Quit Claim Deed with his Chapter XXXX Trustee 's signature, as there is not a Power of Attorney on file for him. Seterus declined to implement the loan modification. The letter also stated in order for Seterus to reconsider the loan modification, my ex-husband must sign the Quit Claim Deed, or provide a notarized power of attorney from his Trustee. I then responded with a letter to Seterus on XX/XX/2016 stating his Trustee has the authority to act as an agent on behalf of my ex-spouse because he filed bankruptcy. I also send copies of the final order from the Bankruptcy court granting the Trustee to sell his share of the property to me. I enclosed the recital agreement ( document where I purchased the ex-husbands share of property from trustee ). Seterus responded to my letter on XX/XX/XXXX stating the Quit Claim Deed I submitted is incomplete as the document states I sent XXXX pages, they only received XXXX pages! The letter from Seterus also states I need to have the Quit Claim Deed signed by either my ex-husband or his trustee, in order to remove him from the mailing address for the loan! I have sent Seterus the Quit Claim Deed signed by his Trustee on three occasions and yet again on XX/XX/XXXX! Now on XX/XX/XXXX, I received the mod. packet w/documents informing me I MUST SIGN AND RETURN THE DOCS ALONG W/ QUIT CLAIM DEED ( WITH EX-HUSBANDS SIGNATURE ) BY XX/XX/2016.

Complaint: I had a mortgage loan that was owned and serviced by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, NC XXXX. The last amount reported on my bureau was {$140000.00}. This loan was paid in full at the end of XX/XX/XXXX. Repeated requests have been made to properly report this as paid in full. Their deliberate disregard to properly report the balance and pay history has caused my personal credit score to be lower than it should be. This has recently cost me a higher interest rate on my auto loan. This loan is reporting as open on all three of my bureaus and has kept my scores low on all XXXX. Complaint: I have been trying to obtain a HAMP loan modification with Seterus on an investment property I own. The original modification was filed prior to the HAMP deadline. My income falls within that which HAMP allows for investment properties. I have provided all the paperwork requested by Seterus. Whenever I call they try to steer me to other solutions instead of a loan modification. Since HAMP allows for loan modification on investment properties I am very upset and frustrated.

Complaint: In reference to tracking number XXXX, XXXX opened a deposit account and funded by XXXX to pay the property taxes. Seterus changed it to a deposit account opened by Seterus and funded by home owner in violation of the terms and conditions of service transfer agreement between XXXX and Seterus. The reason XXXX did the way they did is that the mortgage is principal and interest payment only and they honored it. Seterus violated it. If Seterus argument that XXXX opened an escrow account based on XXXX crediting {$0.00} of my excess payment towards mortgage, they need to say so clearly and unequivocally. In the previous response from Seterus , Inc., the company again is claiming I have not paid the months of XXXX and XX/XX/2017 which is untrue, I have always issue my mortgage payments in a timely manner and that is indisputable, see attached!
Now in order to get this finalized is Seterus, INC says I have to pay {$260.00} and sign a request to get the escrow funds which I never agree to put there in the first place to be released? Or just to be more clear, if I pay {$260.00} and I sign the escrow release form my account will be bring back up to date without any other hidden fees? Also, will Seterus, Inc remove the many bad credit reviews they did to my account which has affected job 's and credit?

Complaint: Reference CFPB XXXX I and a friend owned a rental property in South Carolina. Because of various hardships ( I can provide the letter ) we short sold the property. Seterus delayed the acceptance of the original offer on XX/XX/2013 for 6 months. During that time they started the foreclosure process, so it shows up on our credit report. On XX/XX/2013 they closed escrow with the person who made the original offer.
