Complaint: You have marked my complaint as a duplicate it is not, while some of the same issues remain unresolved there were new ones added please do not mark this as a duplicate!!!!! 1 ) I have been trying to resolve unapplied payments since XX/XX/2018 to no avail 2 ) When I receive correspondence Selene continually glosses over this fact 3 ) Selene has used one of my payments for Legal fees 4 ) I had to hire an accounting firm to validate my findings and they did, this must get addressed, another issue that has not been addressed and glossed over in their correspondence 5 ) NEW I have requested the information on the new company that is taking over my mortgage to no avail 6 ) NEW I have requested an amortization schedule that has not been received. 7 ) This company has been pushing me towards a foreclosure since XX/XX/2018 ONE CAN NOT BE SATISFIED WITH A STAMPED LETTER THESE ISSUES NEED A RESOLUTION, JUST BECAUSE YOU RECEIVE LETTERS OR CORRESPONDENCE DOES NOT MEAN THE ISSUES WERE RESOLVED THEY HAVE NOT BEEN!

Complaint: Had XXXX XXXX XXXX sell my loan to seline finance in 2014 after reviving a payment from me that was to be applied to my pay due account. I had late fees with XXXX but made plans to repay as I stayed correct. They Sikhs the loan to XXXX, with my catch up payment used on ALL late fees which made me a month behind after the sale to XXXX. I contacted them regarding this matter and tho make a long story short, I inquired on things like forbearance or any other way to assist me. They replied they don't did such things and offered no solution but to pay. At the same time, I was reviving a discharge of a chapter XXXX bankruptcy, which was XXXX XX/XX/2014. Since XX/XX/2014, even though I'm paying my mortgage monthly, it's not showing on my credit report as not owing a mortgage. This is hampering me on fair credit reporting. Difficulty submitting a dispute or getting information about a dispute over the phone
Complaint: Since the beginning of my home loan with Selene Finance every attempt to pay online, which they encourage, we have had trouble logging into their website. Every month seems to require that we contact them by phone, only to be told that my account was locked out. The previous month 's password doesn't work and after a few attempts the account locks but does not tell you. If I am able to get a hold of them they fix it back to usable. Every month the process takes several days. As we are in the middle of a refinance it has become necessary to make payments at the end of the month for closing strategy. We had trouble Friday, XX/XX/2019 with no notification of being locked out. After trying to log in as the week went on we called XX/XX/XXXX with no answer to assist us with the account. I received an E-mail notification over the weekend of XX/XX/XXXX that the password was now OK to be reset. We reset the password, made the payment on XX/XX/2019, then captured a screenshot for proof. Again we had to make a payment XX/XX/2019. The login with Selene Finance did not work with a known working password that was used for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. After multiple attempts with no notification of a lockout we were finally able to make a payment by phone with a customer service representative at the call center. Working on the refinancing we became aware of a late payment reflecting on credit for the month of XX/XX/2019. We began communication with Selene Finance to remove the incorrectly reported information. We requested to have them remove the inaccurate late reporting, but through a challenging process of supplying them information as well as not receiving any confirmation that the documentation we supplied was legible we wasted copious amounts of time. Their customer service was atrocious and we were never able to speak to an actual customer service representative from the bank. It was just the call center diverting us to deal with an Email address at the bank. The Email address at the bank never responded to the directions specified in our Email. We only received a template letter in the USPS mail a week after sending our Email correspondence. Our last communication speaking with Selene Finance once again instructed us to use the Email address provided and to ask that a real bank representative to call us. They said we might get a response. They did not call and the customary template letter arrived USPS mail along with the newest date on top. Each one of those letters reminds us that they have 30 days to work on it. One thing noticeable when reviewing all the information with the call center representatives they never repeated to us from the supposed documented process the information we formally submitted to them. This system used by Selene Finance has me running around in circles, wasting week after week and is costing my family a significant amount of money daily. Being unable to do business because of issues with Selene Finance 's technology always not working as well as not being able to talk to a manager in the Bank itself is not only stressful and extremely frustrating, it is actually unacceptable. It looks as if I am need of the CFPB 's help to reach Selene Finance to have them remove the incorrect credit reporting. That mistake in reporting is delaying what began as a simple refinance of a VA home loan.

Complaint: Selene Finance admitted inadvertently reporting my payment status as delinquent ( letter dated XX/XX/19 as a response to my previous complaint about them to CFPB ) and they still have not corrected that mistake. They stated in the letter they were completing the necessary adjustments to the account on XX/XX/19 and would report the status of the account as Current but that has not been completed as of today. This has caused me much stress since I am trying to apply for a refinance.

RECENTLY, I HAD TO HIRE AN ACCOUNTING FIRM TO CONFIRM MY SUSPICIONS AND THEY DID. I NEED ALL MY PAYMENTS APPLIED AS WELL AS MISSING FUNDS. I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT I WAS BEING PUSHED TOWARDS FORECLOSURE AND ASKED SELENE TO SELL MY NOT AND IT SEEMS THAT IS WHAT IS TAKING PLACE. HOWEVER, I DO NOT WANT TO MOVE TO THE NEXT COMPANY WITHOUT RESOLUTIONS TO WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. I NEED THE XX/XX/XXXX PAYMENT APPLIED, THE XX/XX/XXXX MONEY ORDERS APPLIED AND THE MISSING FUNDS APPLIED WHICH EQUALS THREE PAYMENTS. I OWE FOR XX/XX/XXXX BUT THEY HAVE NOT ALLOWED ME TO MAKE THIS PAYMENT, ALL I GET IS THREATENING LETTERS LETTING ME KNOW THAT I AM IN DANGER OF LOSING MY HOME. THIS NEEDS RESOLUTIONS PRIOR TO MY MOVE OVER!!!!!

Complaint: The family is dealing with an illness and the attorney who was working on the file passed away. The family had to file bankruptcy to stop the sale. While in the process the XXXX XXXX 's job causes in to travel and XXXX is employed but dealing with an illness. They have gathered the documents and requested that the bank would give them a chance to workout some type of arrangement that they can make payments and save their home. We have a savings for the workout on the loan. XXXX has sent many applications to Selene Finance, but they claim they have not received an application since the attorney was working on the file which was back in XX/XX/XXXX which is not true. XXXX has submitted at least 10 request for a loan modification. This is urgent and there is a pending auction XX/XX/XXXX. We tried to get clarification of having a full package in for review before they will consider cancelling the foreclosure auction. They would never give an exact amount of days, now they tell us that it had to be 37 days. We have aqll required documents plus money to pay as a good faith payment. Please help us.

Complaint: I tried making my loan payment today XX/XX/19 to find out they have locked my account. They claim i have not paid for the month of XX/XX/XXXX which my paystub clearly indicates my payment went through on my XX/XX/XXXX. I never recieved any type of warning indicating that they would have locked my account making it impossible for me to make any further payments. I would like for Selene Financing to unlock my account so i can continue making my monthly payments without any late fees. This has been the second time in 6 months that i have had a problem with Selene finance. I contacted the company and i explained to them the situation and they could not help unless i send a certified check or a money order to them for the remaining of the year. I have a bank branch that does not exist near my county so going to the bank is not possible. I would like to switch Financing companies if this keeps happening every 6 months.

Complaint: We closed our mortgage with Selene Finance when we sold our home on XX/XX/XXXX. We had an escrow surplus of approximately {$2100.00}. When the 30 days had passed that we shouldve received the check from them, we called and they claimed they sent the check to the wrong address and that they were canceling and reissuing the check. They said we would have it by XX/XX/XXXX. When that date passed we called to ask where the check was. They then said the account had been charged with miscellaneous fees on XX/XX/XXXX ... the fees are not described, and they were placed on the account two and a half months after the account was closed.

Complaint: This complaint is to request CPFB to enforce RESPA on the following Servicers/owners : XXXX XXXX XXXX, Selene Finance, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that have been appearing one after another in the case explained here below. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX filed an unsupported foreclosure on XXXX XXXX Courthouse case # XXXX-XXXX-XXXX XXXX against my home, claiming amounts out of the permanent modification agreement signed on XXXX at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the same entity that on XX/XX/XXXX did proof in Court that I was current in my payments according to the permanent modification agreement ; XXXX XXXX repeatedly scheduled on XXXX a non-jury trial motion to dismiss with the Judge that was delayed and opposed by XXXX XXXX. Many unnecessary delays have kept the unsupported foreclosure going on for 21 months now and with the appearance of 3 more new Servicers/owners in the case. A phone conciliation conference was finally scheduled but cancelled twice, I was told to give way to the settlement. On XX/XX/XXXX the new and fourth servicer/owner appeared : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; this company made the attempt several times for me to sign a new hardship modification package that I refused as it is obviously out of order ; then on XX/XX/XXXX I was informed of a settlement to deduct about {$10000.00} from the loan amount, cover lawyer fees and reinstate the payment according to the permanent modification agreement ; but it was astonishing to realize they were increasing the balance amount of the loan in {$20000.00} more, what of course I did not accept. The last communication through XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX, was to send again a new hardship modification package to be signed, what of course I refused. I guess XXXX XXXX is under a lot of pressure from this block of entities created to try to crush the system. I am out of debt and I always honor my payments on time but this situation did low my credit score to the incredible number of XXXX. I just sent again to XXXX XXXX XXXX the full payments accumulated that they sent back as well as the payment of XXXX. Because I dont see an end to this negotiation is that I humbly ask you to enforce Respa on these 4 servicers/owners. They are abusing me because I am a defenseless XXXX Senior Citizen female that will turn XXXX next XXXX, and which health has suffered with this underserved and heavy attack. I thank you in advance for your consideration and all help you can provide that it can be an example in the future of the consequences of forged scams.
