One Main, Springleaf and XXXX have been and are reporting hard inquiries without verifiable proofs of my consents. One Main, Springleaf and XXXX have been and are reporting those hard inquiries as inaccurate information without verifiable proofs. As a result, there are no permissible purposes of putting those hard inquiries on my credit report. I sent certified mails to all XXXX One Main and Springleaf asking about the permissible purposes of those hard inquiries and verifiable proofs of the inaccurate information. I waited more than 30 days to have the verifiable proofs from XXXX One Main and Springleaf of their inaccurate information and I didnt receive them from all of them. Since neither XXXX nor One Main nor Springleaf have verifiable proofs of their inaccurate information and it has been more than 30 days since they received the dispute, according to Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S. Code Sec. 1681i ( a ) the following hard inquiries should be deleted immediately. Complaint: I have an account with One Main Financial. They are reporting interest that have not accrued yet on the loan monthly to all three Credit Bureaus. On my credit reports its stating I owe One Main Financial {$11000.00}. I only owe a balance of {$7400.00}. In the month ofXX/XX/XXXX, I disputed the amount they said I owe via certified mail to XXXX with my supporting documentation print out from One Main. XXXX received the information onXX/XX/XXXX. Weeks later, the correct balance was updated to the amount then that I owed which was {$7500.00}. Now this month One Main has updated it with a balance of {$11000.00} which is inaccurate. This month of XX/XX/XXXX I sent in via certified mail to XXXX along with my supporting documentation of how much I owe they received this information on XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX on today XX/XX/XXXX to see if my balance has been updated to the correct amount. The representative informed me it did, I then proceed to ask her what balance it was stating, she said, " it 's an update of {$11000.00} ''. I made her aware that the balance is still incorrect and informed her I even sent in supporting documentation that came from One Main saying how much I actually owe.This is an ongoing situation where they updated the correct balance when I first sent in the dispute to XXXX, now they are back to reporting an inaccurate balance to all three Credit Bureaus that I do n't currently owe.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I called my local XXXX XXXX California branch to talk about my account. I was answered and given personal account information without verifying or authenticating I am account holder. I asked if anyone can call and get personal information with just my name, they yried to deny it stating she did not give personal information, but she did inform me about previous transactions on my account. I called again one week later to the call center to file a complaint, they said they were going to, but never happened. I called my local branch again to make sure maybe it was just that one call, they gave me payment information and debt information without verifying I am account not holder. I asked the associate why she did n't verify I am account holder because that is private information and I would n't want anyone to just call and get it, she stated that they are not required to ask questions to authenticate customers, when I asked her how is my information protected she then put me on hold and transferred me to the manager without telling me. The manager stated that they do normally ask questions but she does n't understand why I was complaining about this. I was also called on XXXX XXXX, to collect a debt that was n't due until XXXX XXXX, payment was not late yet, when I got in contact with them and asked them why are they making a collection call before me due date, and again did not verify me, her words were " I was just wondering if you were going to make it on time, " the company is one main, in XXXX XXXX, California. I received a call today XXXX/XXXX/XXXX from the call center, they again just gave me payment information without authenticating me, I asked how is my information protected and she stated they are not required to ask authentication information u till after the call and after all information is given. I feel my informative n is not protected and they are violating consumer information privacy.

Complaint: One Main Financial contacted my husband 's cell phone advising that they were trying to reach me for an important business matter. My husband, who when I signed my loan documents was only my boyfriend, is not associated with the loan or account at all. When I provided his phone number, it was under the pretense that he was a reference to validate the information I provided in order to obtain the loan. One Main Financial has called my cellphone 3 times a day, every day, leaving 1-2 voicemails a day to collect on a debt which is in direct violation of TCPA. They do not have permission to call my cell phone, or any known contact 's cell phone, to collect on a debt. They are falsely stating that they are calling my references in order to obtain a valid mailing address for me. I currently have my mail forwarded to my new house, so it is false that they do not have a valid address. They are in violation of FDCPA by calling me numerous times a day and leaving a voicemail each time. I have blocked their phone numbers ( four different ones ) and they now call blocking their number so that they can still get through to leave a voicemail. I would like to report them for their abusive tacticts, calling unauthorized parties about me, and for calling cell phone numbers without written consent. I verbally advised One Main Financial on XXXX XXXX, XXXX at XXXX that they do not have authorization to call mine or my husband 's cell phone and advised them of their regulatory violations. The woman raised her voice, spoke over me, and advised they will continue to call any number I provided including my references, regardless of the number being a cell phone.

Complaint: I had a car title loan wi th Springleaf Financial on a XXXX XXXX XXXX in 2013. I lost my job and was unable to make the payments. They took my car and my account was turned over to a company called XXXX , XXXX . They sued me for {$1000.00}. I paid this to this company and have satisfied this debt. I asked this company to remove this negative item from my credit report but was told that they bought the account so they could not remove it from my credit report. I have contacted Springleaf that was listed on the credit report was not the original account holder and they would not remove the negative item because I paid another company. This was done by phone. I have sent Springleaf ( to the address on my credit report ) 2 letters with no response. I have tried to dispute this with the credit bureaus but I have not gotten anywhere with them. How can I get a negative item removed when I pay the debt when everyone keeps telling me that they ca n't do it because they do n't " own '' that debt anymore. I am trying to buy a house and this is causing me to be unable to qualify for a mortgage. If you pay off a debt then it should be removed from your credit report.

I was not aware this was not cleared till 15 months later when I received a letter from one main telling me I was delinquent. I have spoken to many individuals at one main who keep telling me they are working on it and have not resolved receiving the p ayment from the law office. Complaint: I obtained a personal consolidation loan to pay off three high interest credit cards. They issued three checks made out to the card companies and I sent each of them out overnight mail. One of the checks the card company ( XXXX ) says they have n't received. I was issues a credit in the amount of {$1700.00} the amount of the check because the company was uncertain if the payment was received. A few weeks later the card company said that they had not received the payment. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted XXXX at One Main Financial in XXXX XXXX to find out if they could make certain the check was cashed. The said yes that the check was cashed on XX/XX/XXXX. I have been back and forth with both companies over the past 3 months to find out if the check was received and cashed. The credit card company told me on XX/XX/XXXX that the payment had been received and was cashed and I proceeded to use the card for both my sins birthday {$410.00} and a down payment on a car {$500.00}. I just received a statement from the card company saying that in fact they had not received the check and my card balance is {$1300.00} over the limit. I am paying the loan to One Main Financial and interest and late fees on the card balance and have been unable to obtain a copy of the cashed check from One Main for the past three months and they repeatedly tell me that they have requested it and they will forward it to me when they can. I phoned their main customer service office today XXXX XXXX, 2017 and was told the same thing, they will forward it when they can. I do n't know what else to do.

Complaint: I took out an original loan for XXXX dollars at their crazy 35.99 % interest rate but I needed some funds in a hurry and paid off the loan early which would have been around XXXX for the full term but they charged me over XXXX for far less than the full term and did not refund me the overpayment now I 'm looking at this after signing up for an additional loan that again I need very short term ( {$5700.0 0} ) a nd they are reporting that I owe them over XXXX !! Complaint: Unfortunately, OneMain/Springleaf is continuing to string me along as a consumer in hopes they can bully me. This is in response to my latest communication with OneMain/Springleaf who actually suggested themselves that I file another CFPB complaint. First they take the FULL 60 days in responding to my first, original CFPB request ( Case number : XXXX, -XXXX 2017 ), then respond giving me only a few weeks to review and respond. All the while they are reviewing, they are stressing that I continue to make my monthly payment which is interest only. After they submit their response in XXXX, the response and claims are very incomplete and false. 1 ) I NEVER asked for settlement. I only asked to pay what I should owe based on account payments over time. They tried to say I asked for a settlement - which I never did. I asked to pay off what I calculated I owed given my payment history. They changed my words around on several occasions to say that I said I want to 'settle ' my loan as if I am trying avoid paying what I owe. This is just a blatant lie and an obvious strategic smear to place on me as a consumer. I not once said I wanted to settle, and I stated this several times, yet their documentation keeps saying that I said this. 2 ) After 60+ days of supposed " review '', they supply incomplete information from my first CFPB complaint. They stated I authorized agreement to terms, but do not at all provide documentation stating so. They only provide my original loan agreement and the statement of terms to date. I had to send another response asking for the additional documentation to support their own response. 3 ) There is no where stated on my original loan, that my loan is " pre-computed '' loan. They are now saying this to justify a revert to an interest-account account. However, this is never stated in my papers, therefore I could not have possibly known an AOT would chance my loan to this. So my last 1+ years of payment were solely interest only to justify the overall inflated balance they now say I owe. 4 ) Since this is going on 6 months +, they have tainted my credit and hampered me from making other solid financial moves, due to a significant credit score drop. I feel this is by design in an attempt to bully me, since they previously stated that " I do n't have my own legal representation ''. I am being bullied my OneMain/Springleaf, and I had been a long-time customer for over 10 years. I do n't know if the Springleaf merger changed how they do business, but until they show how and why they changed the terms of my account, I feel fraudulent methods have occurred on my account.
