Complaint: In XXXX I changed careers and took a drastic paycut. I refinanced my loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX at their request to catch up past due payments. Before the career change I went thru a divorce and was hit with an astronomical monthly child support debt. When I refinanced the loan with XXXX XXXX they were aware of all of these changes. Since then on numerous occasions I have expressed to them that my primary vehicle is a motorcycle. The same one that they have a title on for the loan. It is my primary/only means to get back and forth to work. I get to the school which is an hour and twenty minutes from my home around XXXX every morning and can not have my personal phone on loud or use it during the day. I am in class until around XXXX then have staff meetings and lesson plan periods. I usually leave the school around XXXX and have the SAME hour and XXXX minute commute home. I can not use a cellular phone and drive a motorcycle at the same time. I also can not call from school or use a work phone to handle personal business. I have explained this before the refinance, during the refinance, and several times when I was able to after the refinance. I STILL receive upwards of XXXX phone calls a day from XXXX XXXX. Today I received one from the corporate office that showed up as a picayune XXXX XXXX. This morning already before that I received two others with voicemails attached that they were trying to get ahold of me from unknown numbers that were not local XXXX numbers. I feel that its not safe or truthful to hide who is calling and have the same company show up from several other locations in an attempt to get ahold of me. I could understand if I had NOT already explained all of this on several occasions. When I spoke to the representative from the corporate office I was pressured to give my personal bank info to set up a payment from that same non disclosed number that wasnt of the local branch. I hung up with that representative and not even 5 mins later received another phone call from the local branch asking about the payment that I had JUST spoken to someone else about from corporate. My wife answered the phone because I had just stepped out to walk the dog and asked if it was XXXX XXXX XXXX it was saved in my phone as XXXX XXXX. ) The representative declined to answer and just said that they were looking for me. My wife, knowing that it was the local branch, informed them that I had stepped outside and that someone had just gotten off the phone with him and that it was ridiculous someone was calling back that soon and that it was bordering on harassment. I agree that this is harassing behavior. The representative rudely said that she was the only one in the branch today calling accounts and that it must have been someone from corporate calling and that she would disconnect the call if I wasnt available.
I can understand that I owe two payments, but they also need to understand that I am not able to answer XXXX phone calls a day and repeat myself continuously. One phone call a month to explain the situation and let them know that my pay schedule has not changed from the previous month and that I get paid the last working day like EVERY other XXXX employed by the state should be sufficient. I should not receive daily phone calls nor should I be forced into giving my personal bank information to alocation/number that pops up a different place from local towns XXXX miles away. When I am able to pay, I pay securely online.

Complaint: One main was disputed by all credit bureaus in the month of XXXX. A letter of debt validation was never received in response to any of the disputes. The account was removed from XXXX report ( I have provided the screen shot displaying this information ) but came back verified on XXXX ( I am also attaching the documentation from Experian showing verified status as of XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX the company One main reached out to me in the form of a letter ( attaching a copy of that as well ) not to provide documentation or any contractual agreements for this alleged debt but a letter willing to reduce the debt amount significantly up to 90 % in hopes that I would contact them and settle and I did not. The letter stated this was the 'Final Opportunity '' and that I had to respond before XX/XX/XXXX. On today XX/XX/XXXX my XXXX credit score took a 96 point decrease which is detrimental making it very difficult almost impossible to acquire credit especially when you were looking to buy a house in the next couple of months due the account jumping from a closed status to open without my knowledge or any documentation in writing saying an account that has been closed since XX/XX/XXXXis now open and not only open but has a missed payment causing my payment history to decrease from 100 % to 96 % and my credit age history to drop because it is now factoring this account. I have attached screenshots for all this information. I need this information reviewed and corrected and removed immediately. I am beyond upset and frustrated the amount of ways and things a company go about affecting a consumer 's everyday life.

Complaint: I was approved for a $ XXXX loan back in XX/XX/XXXX. I have been making regular payments to day and have experienced another hardship so went back to apply for an additional $ XXXX loan. When I realized I only needed about {$2500.00} or less, I notified One Main and told them.
The CSR informed me that I had been approved for the $ XXXX loan however, I would need to use my XXXX as collateral. I told the CSR I did not want to do that and he told me that they could not give me the loan. I then inquired about receiving way less than that amount and was informed that my car would have to be used as collateral.
I asked the CSR, XXXX, what credit report was used to approving my $ XXXX loan previously. XXXX told me that they pull from all three ( 3 ). I asked him what was different between the two ( 2 ) reports pulled in a matter of months. He stumbled and said that 2 things popped up. Well, that makes no sense as the items that " popped up '' were on my report since XX/XX/XXXX or sooner so you had to see it when you gave me the $ XXXX loan.
I asked for a copy of the credit reports and was denied review of them but One Main wants to use my credit report as the foundation for requesting a collateral loan.

Complaint: I currently have a personal loan through OneMain Financial. I have never missed a payment for the life of the loan. I usually mail my payments in, so typically the postmarked date is used. Also, on their payment form, there is a payment due and a payment due 10 days or after date. However, their office in XXXX, IN where I originated the loan constantly calls me the day it is due and every day after.
I contacted their corporate office and explained what was going on, and XXXX at the XXXX office contacted me and let me know that they would give me a 10-day window before calling.
Within the last 3 months, XXXX at the same office has started calling the day it is due and so on. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a phone call, a page, and an email all within 5 minutes.
NONE of my other creditors or utility companies use these practices, so I can not believe that these actions are legal. These practices are predatory at best.

Complaint: I have a Charge-off on my credit reports reported by the XXXX credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) being reported by Springleaf ( OneMain Financial ). This debt was a joint account with my ex-wife. We were separated in XXXX and divorced in XXXX. This debt was sold to a Collection Agency, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX has removed it from my credit report on their end. I have asked Springleaf ( OneMain Financial ) as a Goodwill gesture to remove their reporting from my XXXX credit reports on their end as well. I received a letter from them stating that my request was denied and that Springleaf ( OneMain Financial ) will not remove the derogatory remark from my XXXX credit reports, and that they will keep reporting it. This account was opened in XXXX, and was charged-off in XXXX. I am asking them for their consideration in removing this derogatory item from my XXXX credit reports from each of the XXXX credit bureaus.

Billing dispute for services
Complaint: on XXXX a woman holding a drivers license, with my name and addresss, who 's Number that did Not match my number along with a Social Security Card, That had my name on it, But the number was not correct, went into One Main financial business office and took out a loan for XXXX. This was reported against my credit and had nothing to do with me.
I met with the NJ district manager, XXXX XXXX, who showed me these documents and i told him that these artifacts did Not Match mine.. but yet this loan went against my credit. I am working hard to improve my credit and this is quite a blow.
OneMain did not do their job in my eyes. They checked the name, address, place of business only.
this is a gross injustice. to make matters worse, when i contacted the number to One Main that was provided on my credit report, they said they had no account under my name. i only found out about the theft last week when the account became delinquent.

I emailed her back and said I would not call them. I am tired of being lied two.and told her to refinance my loan for {$170.00} a month and I would set it up auto pay. I know this would extend the loan for another year or 2. if they wont do that I told them to take me to court and sue me.i want this in writing not over the phone. Complaint: on XX/XX/2017 I applied for a Loan with OneMain Financial online. I was told that i was qualified for a loan based upon my pre-tax income and pre-credit screen online. I went through the entire process, a customer service rep called me walked through everything. I was mislead during the application process because on the phone they use a different method of calculating income and only look at your take home pay, which can vary significantly in my case. [ They do not disclose this to you on their website when you are applying that its a different method of calculation, they also do n't mention to you that they use a budget amount to look at your income when you apply ] My pre tax income is close to XXXX a month. My take home income is close to XXXX. Between both incomes I have elected about XXXX dollars in additional taxes taking out ( voluntary, selected most recently ) I also have a tip wage that is calculated in my income and pre-taxed which makes my income look lower. I was trying to explain this to the representative except she stated they do things differently when they calculate over the phone, and it 's different than online. They do n't tell you this when you are applying. It becomes very misleading lending practices. Had I understood exactly online when applying how things were calculated and that they look at a different formula I would 've never continued with the application because I would know that the loan I was applying would not meet their standards, and I would have been declined from the start. The process makes it seem so easy, your presented with terms based upon all the data you submit and they pull your credit online, but they do additional screening over the phone and have additional standards. They also look at your income differently when they talk to you over the phone, which again is not what is stated on their website when it asks for Income.

Complaint: On X/X/17 I mailed a letter to the company asking them to remove an inquiry from my report because I am sure that I did not authorize it. I mailed it to the address the company provided to the Credit Bureau that they pulled the inquiry from. USPS returned the letter to me with a sticker attached that read, " Return to Sender - Attempted not known -unable to forward ''. This means that the company is not providing the credit bureau or consumers with an accurate address in which to inquire about or dispute information inaccurately being reported. This is completely unfair to the consumer and a clear violation of my consumer rights.
I have attached a copy of the envelope with the notification from the postal service, a copy of the letter sent inside, and a copy of the address reported to the bureau, pulled directly from the report provided to me.
