Complaint: There are various Inquires showing on my three credit reports that I have not apply for credit at. I contacted the companies with written letters asking that they be remove due to possible fraud. I have received no positive results. I then contacted the three credit agencies with two attempts to have them removed without positive results.

Complaint: Onemain Financial was formally known as Springleaf Financial. They are reporting a negative account to the three credit bureaus which is impacting me Onemain Financial was formally Springleaf Financial. I have a account on my credit report from Springleaf that is reporting inaccurate information. When I contacted Onemain Financial to inform them as well as dispute the information, I was advised by their " credit bureau reporting dept '' that my account was sold to a collection agency and they could not help me. I would like to dispute the dates reported and amounts owed. I had a perfect payment history with this company and when I lost my employment, I requested the payment protection to be applied to my account, this is an additional protection that I paid for every month. The protection payments were never applied to account which caused my account to go into default. I asked month after month when the payments will be sent in because my credit was being affected. I was told that I needed unemployment before my claim could be approve. I was going through an appeal with EDD and my claim had not been awarded yet. I paid for this protection so I 'm the event something like this happen I would be protected but at a time I really needed it I was denied. This is illegal practices, to advertise a service then charge the customer but not provide

Complaint: This claim has already addressed by CFPB. I want a re-investigation This is about One Main Financial : Company falsely charged me and sent my name to collections for a debt I do n't owe.
One Main has never responded to any of my letters. This is the first letter that I received from CFPB. I need company to re-investigate this claim. I am asking One Main Financial to provide me with evidence bearing my signature or any copies of documentation they have. They have replied through CFPB with a long letter with no evidence bearing my signature. I am making a final goodwill attempt to have this company clear up this matter.

Complaint: One main financial is aware of my financial hardship. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX on my financial hardship. I sent my proof of hardship via paystub to her e-mail at XXXX. She responded thank you. Within the next couple of hours XXXX XXXX alerts me One Main Financial ran my credit. The next day XX/XX/XXXX corporate calls to bug me about non payment after speaking with XXXX the day before. One Main Financial called me and said they see the note on my account it is typical procedure for it to take two days. That it is typical procedure for them to call because often times they do not know about the note.The main issue is. I was unaware of a hard pull and that it was apart of the process until I spoke with XXXX XXXX. Then he goes to tell me that the process was stopped because I e-mailed XXXX XXXX the next day of this issue. According to XXXX I said I wanted to " stop '' the process. I never said I wanted to stop the process. I said I want the inquiry remove.
Here is my e-mail : On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX My credit report said I had an inquiry from one main financial. I was unaware a loan payment adjustment resulted in a hard pull. I am asking for the inquiry to be removed since I did not authorize it and was unaware. I am trying improve my credit within the next couple of months.
Thank you XXXX XXXX This is the second inquiry One Main Financial has done unauthorized without my approval. XXXX XXXX goes to say I am behind for XX/XX/XXXX and now XX/XX/XXXX. It does not matter if you always make payments on time. You get behind three days the XXXX office blows up your phone and corporate. Once XXXX tells me I have to catch up despite my hardship I told him sorry I do not have it and hung up. I am upset now. I am upset because I had this loan for too long. I am almost done paying it. I have made a lot of steady payments rarely late. I often make triple the amount of what is even dued. For you to pretty much say to me you can not help me is annoying. On top of the situation XXXX never e-mailed me back to say you received my last e-mail. I kept getting phone tags back to back from the office and corporate because they stopped the process.
I am in hardship a soft pull would suffice. What are you gaining by running a hard inquiry? If that is your policy why was I not told? If the process was stopped why no one sent me a letter or called instead of leaving voice messages to say my account is overdue. Not one voicemail to say to your loyal customer about what happened to the process until I eventually had to call back to see what is going on why they keep blowing my phone up.
I need the company to remove all recent inquiries and acknowledge my financial hardship. If you can not help me as a customer I can not help you as a business. This company already gets a bad rep throughout multiple credit groups. I was with them when they were Springleaf Financial in XX/XX/XXXX. I even recommend a friend or two to them in which I warn to referrals to pay off as fast as you can. Do not take out more than what you do not need. I hope that a resolution can resolve from this. I only need help until next year XX/XX/XXXX from this company to work with me. That is only three months. XXXX XXXX tells me it is " too late, '' for the process. I do not ever believe something is too late and a company can not do anything for your situation. Your customers is where your money is and how you maintain your business.

Complaint: An inquiry dated XXXX XXXX, 2016 is reporting on my credit report. I did not authorize anyone employed by Springleaf Financial Service to make any inquiry and view my credit report. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 1681b ( c ) and a serious breach of my privacy rights. I 've sent a certified letter to the address listed on my credit report to the company and I 've never received a response or proper resolution

Complaint: I took out a personal loan from One Main Financial and paid it off in full on XXXX XXXX, XXXX.
Then just recently i look at my credit report and it shows as i just took out a new loan in XXXX XXXX. I was contacted by them asking for my personal information and i refused to give it to them because they had all my contact information when i originally applied.
They informed me that they did n't have any of my information because they operate as XXXX XXXX now. I was told that XXXX XXXX reversed the payment but i was never aware of this and no one ever called or sent me any information regarding this issue.
