Complaint: I have called the company on and spoke with representatives there XXXX times about this issue about my balance. I have been to the balance will update by the middle of the month. This has not happened and the old balance is still reflected and now their is a new balance required that I do not intend to pay before contacting legal counsel. This company appears to disregarding my last payment XXXX entirely. The showing balance of XXXX was my last statement balance and I have the records to prove this. Notwithstanding I stay updated on my account with this company at all times. I have had trouble with this company and I have another complaint for which is being addressed also. Nevertheless, my balance is improper and is XXXX plus accrued interest but not XXXX. Essentially I am paying principal now. I believe this is part of a harassment attempt by this company as your records ( at cfpb ) shows past complaint ( s ) against this company.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX at around XXXX EST I received an alert that my credit had been pulled by One Main Financial. I promptly called XXXX and after not being able to get help the first time, I called a second time. During the second call, I placed a fraud alert on my profile and asked that the inquriy be removed as it was not authorized by me. The representative gave me the phone number XXXX to call One Main. When calling this number it goes to XXXX. The rep for XXXX Services l gave me the number to One Main FinancialXXXX, but when calling this number, they were already closed for the day. When I called XXXX XXXX XXXX back and tried to ask questions, the representative was acting as if I was XXXX in trying to find out XXXX One Main Financial is. She just kept saying over and over that " They are a separate company, you will have to contact them. '' It is ridiculous how much of a run around I received due to an unauthorized hard inquiry being placed on my credit by One Main Financial at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX TX. I did NOT authorize this company to run my credit report for any reason and I would like this inquiry to be removed from my report by One Main Financial and or XXXX.

They call me as much as 5 to 10 times in one day to collect Payment that IS NOT EVEN 30 DAYS PASSED DUE I made a payment on Friday XXXX to this company On Saturday XX/XX/XXXX there was a letter in the US MAIL from XXXX XXXX XXXX thanking me for my payment also enclosed in his letter was a message saying your payment is still past due. Just to be clear with XXXX My payments are due on the XXXX of each Month so Therefore you should have not sent out a message like that. Per the FCRA i HAVE 30 days to pay the balance before you can even think about reporting a late On my credit report. I was well In the 30 days deadline. ( I noticed in your letter dated on XX/XX/XXXX You states XX/XX/XXXX That is dead wrong per my contract my payments are due the XXXX of each Month. and I have until The XXXX Of the next before you can report any lates to either of the reporting agencies.. This company have called My Phone so many times in one day That I had to contact My phone carrier to block there Number from calling. Now I 'm getting letters each day from this company. I ask them to please stop contacting me via Phone or US mail or else I will take legal action and File a lawsuit. This is unreal Onemain will get your money stop with the Phone calls and mailing.

Complaint: I sent 2 certified letters and the company has violated and failed too : 1. Required by federal law to place a " notice of dispute '' on my account within 30 days of my dispute, which the company signed for my letter 3 times. I have retained a copy of the signatures and date of receipt, as well as a time-stamped copy of my credit reports, showing that company have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) and/or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Section. 2. Failed to provide copy of the original contact bearing my signature. This company has violated and is in non-compliance, per FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies ( 3 ) Duty to provide notice of dispute. If the completeness or accuracy of any information furnished by any person to any consumer reporting agency is disputed to such person by a consumer, the person may not furnish the information to any consumer reporting agency without notice that such information is disputed by the consumer. ( B ) Time of Notice ( B.I ) The notice required under subparagraph ( A ) shall be provided to the customer prior to, or no later than 30 days after, furnishing the negative information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603 ( p ). This company violated federal law, by not properly providing the credit bureaus with proper notice within the required timeframe, and I have evidence of such, via certified mail receipts, and the company must now remove the item. Complaint: I applied for a personal loan online and received three pre-approval offers from One Main Financial XXXX. I selected one of the pre-approval offers for a unsecured personal loan that had the terms clearly stated on the website. A representative from One Main Financial XXXX contacted me by telephone to go over the details and asked me several questions about my income and expenses which all the information I gave the representative was exactly what I had submitted online. The representative then tells me they would not be able to help me and I was it approved for the loan. The reasoning 4 not being approved part the employee was due to my living expenses and debt to income ratio. The online loan application process and follow up with Company employee not only displays false advertisement and misleading information but very poor business practices. After receiving the disapproval I contacted the employee again to let her know there had been a mistake with the figures I had given her for my living expenses by several hundred dollars. After recalculating the figures the employee provided another excuse of how they would not be able to help me with the loan and that I was still would not be approved due to their company policy. I asked the employee where I could find the information regarding what is required of the applicants to be qualified for the loan and or company policies that she referred to and I was told that information was not for me to know. Due to the treatment I received from the employee of OneMain Financial I feel I have not been afforded the same opportunities and fair treatment as other applicants would have been afforded, therefore due to being an individual on a very low fixed income due to XXXX XXXX have become a victim of lender discrimination.

Complaint: This complaint is with One Main Finacial in XXXX, NC. An employer there called my place of business, XXXX XXXX XXXX, as I am a XXXX. She called about a late payment on XXXX XXXX, XXXX in the XXXX My payment is not due until XXXX XXXX, XXXX. A deferment agreement was signed on XXXX XXXX, XXXX to skip the month of XXXX as we tried to be proactive and realized we wouldnt be able to make XXXX payment but would be back on track in XXXX. One Main has my cell phone and my wifes cell phone. My wife was never contacted. They called my employer first and when payment isnt even due. Their response when I called was that, well you called back, and that they never received the deferment. When I asked for an email to send them th confirmation email I received when I requested the deferment, I was given one, but told it probably wouldnt work. They have been repeatedly told not to contact my family, other than my wife, and under no circumstance to contact my employer or wifes employer.

Complaint: I have a loan with one main financial.they call here 5-6 times a day and even on sats.what happened was back in XXXX I needed a loan to get my vehicle fixed for inspection.they told me I could get {$500.00} loan if my wife cosigned. it did n't happen after running to the banks and XXXX to get sattements. I had been paying {$230.00} a month be fore that, only about {$100.00} was going on the loan the rest was interest.so I borrowed the money from realitives to get it inspected.i told them ( one main ) I would n't be able to make a paqyment for 2 months because I had to pay my realitives back.that would of been XXXX only the car broke down again I needed a coil it cost over {$150.00} to get it towed and fixed. so XXXX came by, was going to make a payment. but they call here fromXXXX, 5-6 times per day .I asked them to stop and sent them letters did no good.so now were are in XXXX I sent them a check for {$20.00} and told them to stop calling and I d start to pay them that did no good either.so XXXX the stsrter went out there was another {$150.00} bill towing to garage and fixing. itsw a XXXX XXXX and I ve had a lot of problems with it lately, its XXXX XXXX XXXX. any how they call 5-6 times a day XXXX asked them to stop that does no good and I told them in a letter if they keep calling I wont pay them anything.and on sat. they called twice.XXXX.if theyd stop calling me XXXX d start to pay them again iwas paying them {$230.00} a month that 's {$2700.00} a year and onl ; y {$1200.00} went towards the loan.and they could n't give me {$500.00} loan it really ticked me off. I am XXXX and on XXXX XXXX.and tired of this XXXX.plus they changed my loan date when I asked them not 2. so they really got me going.i ve had an account with them for years.i d like them to sue me in court so I could tell my story so other people borrowing from them know wht they do.

Since it is against federal law ( Fair Credit Reporting Act15 USC 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) for an entity to view a customers credit report without a permissible purpose, I am writing to inquire as to your alleged purpose for doing so since I did not apply or request credit from your organization.
