Complaint: I signed a loan with Nissan Motors. I have not had a problem with this loan until recently. Unfortunately i had a total loss. However i was smart and purchased GAP. Since XXXX/XXXX/15 ive been trying to work with NIssan to get the loan taken care of. I have paid my account like always and i have been working with GAP to get their check issued out for the loan. This has been stressful. I have spoken to several customer service representative and customer relations and have been hung up on told different answers, have been talked to in a poor manner tranfered back into the call que. Also i have filed a XXXX complaint but the coropartion has failed to respond or do anything or even acknowledge the complaint. I have been trying to get copies of the warranty cancellation policy checks so i can sent to GAp so they can redo their portion due to the fact they under estimate what i would get back on the poiicies. I have called daily trying to get it resolved no one has helped and they are very rude. I think its sad that they cant even respond to a XXXX complaint. In the mean time another month has passed and i am now due for a payment when GAP has been trying to pay but due to the negligence of NIssan i am forced to pay even thoughi havent had to car in two months and im trying to resolve the issue. I just need some help i feel discouraged and stressed out.

Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, My vehicle was recently evaluated by the lemon law. A case number was generated " XXXX ''. The car has had several lengthy repairs while the vehicle was not in my possession. Ultimately Infiniti has settled a claim and sent me a check for the damages. During the period while I was not in possession of the car, payments were not made. There was no communication between Infiniti and Infiniti financial. As a result of this the late payments were placed on my credit report.
I have recently disputed the inaccuracies on my credit report posted by Infiniti Financial Cooperation and received an update letter from XXXX, XXXX XXXX and XXXX that my report has been updated and the inaccuracies remain.
Per the credit reporting companies I can no longer dispute these late charges. I was told by the credit reporting agencies that the consumer is only allowed one dispute per claim. Per the credit reporting companies " if the creditor responds to the claims in question and verifies the claim as accurate on their system, the consumer can not secondarily dispute the inaccuracy.
I have provided a bank statement indicating that the payments were made and have not exceeded the 30 day grace period provided by law. I additionally provided a check copy from Infiniti and a copy of the case which was settled indicating I was not liable for the late payments when I was not in possession of the vehicle. I have spoke directly with Nissan Infiniti consumer affairs and they have requested that the late payments be removed but this has not been communicated to Infiniti Financial. Additionally, my attempts to contact them both in writing, via attorney, and by phone have not resulted in the appropriate removal of the inaccuracies on my credit report. I am now liable on my credit report for delinquencies despite payments being made.
Per the fair credit reporting act Infiniti the creditor in question is required to inform me that negative information has been placed on my credit report. They have not done this and continue to report a delinquent account status. In fact, when my vehicle was under lemon law investigation XX/XX/XXXX ; I was in contact with Infiniti and they informed me that despite the lemon law investigation and the vehicles repair, I would still have to make payments to avoid late fees which was contrary to what I was told by Infiniti consumer affairs.
I have been a long customer with Infiniti and have a long credit history with them. I have never had delinquent payments. Contacting the consumer protection bureau is my last plea for assistance before taking formal legal action with Infiniti Financial. Infiniti financial is in direct violation of the fair credit reporting act as well as in violation of personal consumer rights. Their computer automated credit reporting without direct human oversight, inability to accurately inform consumers of reported delinquencies as well as posting late fees under account balance violate the laws sought to protect consumers. I would like Infiniti to reverse the inappropriately placed inaccuracies on my credit report as to avoid unnecessary legal action that is preventable with fair credit reporting practices.
I appreciate all that you do for consumers and look forward to a prompt resolution to this claim.

Complaint: I LEASED THIS CAR XXXX AT XXXX INFINITI. AT THE DATE OF LEASE AGREEMENT XXXX, THE TOTAL MARKET VALUE OF THE CAR WAS {$30000.00}. AT THE END OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT, THE REMAINING BALANCE/ RESIDUAL PAYOFF WAS {$24000.00} TO PURCHASE THE CAR. I HADNT DECIDED IF I WAS GOING TO PURCHASE THE CAR OR GET A NEW LEASE SO I EXTENDED MY LEASE. THIS EXTENSION WAS VERBAL AND PER INFINITI FINANCIAL SERVICES ( IFS ), I NEEED TO PAY THE MONTHLY NOTE AND IT WOULD BE APPLIED SO ONCE I PAID THE REMAINING BALANCE, THE TITLE/PINK SLIP WOULD BE SENT TO ME. I DID N'T HEAR ANYTHING FURTHER FROM IFS REGARDING THE LEASE. NOW IN XX/XX/XXXX, I CALL TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE STATUS AND THE NEXT STEP AS I HAVE FULFILLED THE PAYOFF BALANCE. I WAS TOLD THAT I STILL HAD A BALANCE. Complaint: I have tried to pay my car note online at XXXX XXXX for over two weeks. Before they switched their systems. I had my reoccurring payment set up with my bank account for 2 and a half years with no problems. Now, my payment has been rejected two times f5rom the online process through my bank account and would not be accepted via EXXXX Debit Card or XXXX XXXX through their XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX twice and my bank twice. My bank, XXXX, says they are not rejecting any payments from XXXX ( as XXXX emailed me and said my financial institution was rejecting the payment, three times XXXX. I called XXXX twice, the first time they said that it was my banks fault and to try again, which I did. Today, XXXX I called after I received another email saying the payment I tried to give on XXXX ( third time trying ) was rejected and I had incurred a late fee. I spoke to someone in their Customer Service department, but I could not really understand her. She said my bank account information was incorrect ( which it was not ). She said she would waive my late fee and connected me to their payment system XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX could not accept my XXXX Debit Card, XXXX Credit Card, XXXX. I checked online and the late fee has not been waived. I am highly frustrated and super inconvenienced since I had all the information in my account previously, and now it is not working. This could affect my credit score, and I have not received any help from XXXX in regards to paying them.

Complaint: Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp ( aka NMAC ) has incorrectly reported a 30 day late payment to the XXXX major credit reporting agencies purportedly for the Month of XXXX 2015. This 30 day late payment reflects on my credit report for the month of XXXX. In a conversation with NMAC Representative XXXX XXXX on Thursday XXXX XXXX, 2015, she referenced the account and acknowledged that NMAC records show that the XXXX 2015 payment was received 28 days past the due date on Friday XXXX XXXX, 2015 but did not credit the account until Monday XXXX XXXX, 2015. She further acknowledged a potential lag time as a result of NMAC 's then XXXX-party payment processing company XXXX, XXXX. In a letter from NMAC dated XXXX XXXX, 2015 they incorrectly make reference to the XXXX payment being received XXXX XXXX, 2015 ; Again, this is not accurate information - NMAC records show that payment was in fact received 28 days past the XXXX, 2015 due date on XXXX XXXX, 2015. This credit reporting practice is not in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ).

Complaint: I purchased my auto from Nissan and financed the sale via Nissan Finance. I elected the FinanceSignatureDIRECTPAY system which allows for automatic payment withdrawal from my bank account. Nissan Financial has been taking my monthly payments directly from my bank account since the sale was made. For some reason - they say my paper work was late I say they delayed processing it - the first payment was delayed and therefore some subsequent payments, according to them, were late. Nissan Finance has been taking all payments out of my checking account on the XXXX of every month, none of those payment were late ( see attached payment record ). This problem is a bookkeeping issue on the part of Nissan Financial and should not affect my credit history. I made an " extra '' payment to this loan to fix the bookkeeping error on XXXX/XXXX/2014. Please have Nissan Financial correct the information they sent to the credit reporting agencies post-haste.
Enclosed is a copy of my payment records from Nissan Financial 's web site supporting my position. Please investigate this matter and contact the national credit reporting companies to which they provided this information to have them delete the disputed item [ s ] as soon as possible.
I tried to resolve this issue with your phone customer service reps to no avail.

Complaint: Nissan Finance reported to the credit bureau that I am 30-60 days delinquent despite acknowledging that they received my paperwork late ( XXXX XXXX ). On XXXX XXXX, 2015, I purchased a 2015 Nissan Rogue at XXXX Nissan in XXXX, NY. I agreed to finance the car from Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation. Approximately one month later, in XX/XX/XXXX, I still had not received a statement with my account number, amount of payment, and due date. At the same time, I received a phone call from a finance manager at XXXX Nissan ( XXXX, NY, the dealership which sold me the car ), asking me to return to the dealership to sign a document pertaining to the warranty. I asked him if this unsigned document was the reason why I still had n't received a payment statement from Nissan Finance, to which he replied that this document had nothing to do with the hold up, and that the statement should come at some point in XXXX. I never returned to the dealership to sign the document. Even though I received several phone messages to return to sign the document, nobody mentioned that the document was holding up my paperwork from being sent to the finance department. On XXXX XXXX, I received a phone call from Nissan 's Collection Department at XXXX informing me that I missed my first payment on XXXX XXXX. I called and spoke to an operator and explained that I did not know that I had a payment due. She verified that the dealer never submitted my paperwork until XXXX XXXX. She told me that since they did n't receive my paperwork until XXXX XXXX, that she would note that it was n't my fault. She told me that a statement had just been mailed on XXXX, XXXX XXXX and I should be receiving it shortly. I waited another week, and when I still did n't receive a statement, I called the same number again ( XXXX ) on XXXX XXXX, to inform them that I still did not receive a statement. This time the operator asked to verify my mailing address and he discovered that XXXX XXXX number was incorrect : I live on XXXX XXXX, and they were mailing the statement to XXXX XXXX. Since my address was corrected, I expected to receive a statement shortly after that call. But exactly XXXX week later, I still did not receive my statement. This morning, XXXX XXXX, 2015, I called the ( XXXX ) number again and asked to speak with a supervisor to find out what the problem is. I spoke with XXXX XXXX. She told me that I 've had the car since XXXX and I now owe XXXX. She said that she would waive the late charge and that it would not be reported to the credit bureau. I explained that I never received a statement, and that I had made two efforts to call to receive a statement. Today, XXXX XXXX, not only have I still not received my statement, but they have reported me as delinquent 30-60 days on my credit report, even though they acknowledged that they never received my paperwork until XXXX XXXX in order to send me my statement. I also do not think it is fair that I am behind in my payments already ( owing XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and almost XX/XX/XXXX ) all at once, when clearly the dealership did not submit my paperwork right away.

Complaint: My car was repossessed on XXXX XXXX, 2015 .I had made a payment via phone and the repossession company would not allow me to contact Infiniti to try to clarify this but took the car. Following discussion with Infiniti reinstatement department, I made an additional payment as they required on XXXX XXXX, 2015 which reinstated the loan. Because the car loan was in my husbands name, they stated that the car could only be released to him. XXXX In following future conversations they informed me that my husband could send them power of attorney. I downloaded a legal XXXX form and my husband faxed it .It had to be refaxed several times until it met the criteria for their legal dept. They would not advise us of the legal language they required, they would not allow us to speak to this legal dept. Each time there was 2-7 days between their receipt of the fax and response from the legal department.
In the mean time without any notification to my husband, even though the loan had been reinstated, the car was moved out of state to auction. When I was finally able to determine that the legal dept had given permission for me to retrieve the car, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and they said my car had been sent to auction. Finding out where the car was took another process, reaching them another process, XXXX XXXX informed me that my plate was no longer on the car and I could not pick up the car without a plate. No one knew where my plate was. I called Infiniti, they take no responsibility. Even though my loan had been reinstated, no one had put some " reference number " in the computer. At no time did anyone ask me for any reference number- my payment which was made via money gram was clearly recorded in their system. Their process is very malicious. I thought my husband had made a payment initially until I received a singular call from Infiniti XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2015 and I made a payment on XXXX XXXX XXXX, 2015. Infiniti is not required to notify you of their intent to repossess, so you can rectify the problem. Their reinstatement department is very poor, they do not inform or explain or do anything to assist the customer. I explained to them several times that I have XXXX and XXXX so I am very ill.

Complaint: Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation continues to harass my family. They call my parents and my siblings numerous times a day and also disclose my personal information to them. I have asked them to stop calling my relatives, as I do not live with them and they have the number to reach me directly. They continue to harass them waking my parents up late at night and harassing my brother as well. I live in a completely different state than my family and I do not want them to continue to harass them.
