Debt is not yours
Complaint: After checking my credit report recently I began to do more investigating. I discovered several accounts that I am not familiar with. In the past, I have been a victim of identity theft, so I asked the companies to give me more information about the debt. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent the creditor a letter asking for additional information regarding the debt they are attempting to collect from me. They have failed to respond to my request but continue to report the information to the credit bureaus. They are in direct violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act 1692 which states they are to provide this information upon my request or cease collection activity.

Threatened or suggested your credit would be damaged
Complaint: I was sent demands for payment on several occasions by a credit collection agency named MRS Associates of New Jersey that has NOT proven a debt is mine. I received these demands dated XX/XX/2018, XX/XX/2018, XX/XX/2018. I also received a letter from the collection agency, which has no date on it, claiming that documents they recieved from the original creditor proves they have the right to collect from me. I never signed any contract with the debt collection agency. I have sent 2 letters dated XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 asking for the debt collection agency to validate the debt, but they have not been able to produce the tool of indebtedness they claim I owe them. They have failed to validate my request for proof I have a valid debt with them. This is a violation of my rights under fair debt collection practices.

Debt was paid
Complaint: Date : XX/XX/2017 to date XXXX XXXX account attempting to collect a cancellation fee that is not owed and continue to add charges.
Dispute, early termination fee. {$380.00} I transitioned to another carrier in XX/XX/2017. I did not have an open contract with XXXX at the time of the change. I paid our monthly bill up and through XX/XX/2017, when we switched to another carrier. The auto payment was terminated by XXXX as well as online viewing capabilities. XXXX refused to provide a final bill without an attorney letter. XXXX refuses to provide proof of contract to date. XXXX erroneously added the additional termination fees and the fees appear to continue to climb.
The agreement with XXXX XXXX was to pay monthly fee for services on our 2 phone lines. There was a delay in paying the final monthly bill of {$160.00} on XX/XX/2017, which was paid upon proof of the final bill received by XXXX in XXXX, 2017.
The delay from XXXX to XXXX in payment was because XXXX refused to provide a final bill after multiple attempts. Further, I had to hire an attorney to send a letter to XXXX on XX/XX/2017 to dispute the bill and provide the monthly statements ( letter attached ). XXXX has implied that I have a 2 year contract, I did not have a contract at the time of cancellation. I had our service with XXXX for over a decade and never missed a payment and was always on time with payments owed. I did not purchase a device on a plan in the past 2 years on either of our lines with XXXX. All of the phones we have purchased outright. According to the agreement, on XXXX there will be a XXXX cancellation fee for those customers who have completed the contract. When documentation was requested as to why the termination fee was applied, it was denied ; rather XXXX chose to engage multiple collection agencies, even after multiple attempts to come to a resolution. Many of the collection agencies hired by XXXX stopped collection efforts after XXXX could not supply them with proof of contract and amount owed. MRS BPO LLC have not stopped the efforts and have impacted my credit score. This action by XXXX has negatively impacted the credit score of well over 800 and is now seriously damaged. Addition to this, I hold securities licenses and this action has the potential to negatively impact my XXXX and has created undue anguish and could possibly cause even further complications with my employment.
This letter serves as a complaint and dispute for erroneous cancellation/termination fees charged by XXXX XXXX. XXXX has knowingly and willingly refused to provide any proof of the debt they claim owed as well as all request to remove these erroneous fees. Most importantly the erroneous information has seriously impacted my employment, credit score as well undue time, energy and XXXX as a result of this situation. After a letter from my attorney, calls from me, letters and multiple attempts to resolve this issue XXXX continues to ignore and cause further damage to my reputation, career and financial life.

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a phone call from XXXX XXXX with MRS BPO stating that I had student loan debt in collections in their office. I attempted to make a payment arrangement of {$100.00} a month with the company however they were asking for a good faith payment of 15 % of the balance of {$15000.00} which I did not have and I explained to Ms. XXXX that I did not have that amount to put down as a good faith payment.
The company is unwilling to make an arrangement without a good faith payment which I do not have the means to pay.
Prior to this being transferred to MRS BPO I had an agreement with XXXX XXXX XXXX and received in writing an agreement to pay {$230.00} a month beginning XX/XX/18. XXXX XXXX XXXX never gave me to opportunity to respond, agree to, and make the payment as it was transferred to another collection agency.
Ms. XXXX also continues to tell me that she knows that the co-borrower on the student loan has the assets to pay the good faith payment and states that she can not disclose to me how she knows that information.
I submitted a complaint on XXXX XXXX XXXX back in XX/XX/2018 and received a response stating they would be willing to work out an agreement. The letter was dated XX/XX/2018 I believe, the letter then had to be mailed to me which would take a couple days and thats not including XXXX XXXX holiday and weekends ( mail isnt delivered on Sundays ). Ms. XXXX from MRS BPO states they received my account in their office on XX/XX/XXXX. That didnt give me any time to receive the letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX and respond which I feel is unfair.

Debt was already discharged in bankruptcy and is no longer owed
Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX aka XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX/XXXX ) was included in my Bankruptcy that was discharged on XX/XX/11 and additional loans were also " Charged Off '', but to date, they keep sending my name to " Collection Companies ''. I am constantly harassed and taunted by several different collection agencies until I send them copies of the Court ordered document ( s ). This company is relentless and is tarnishing my credit scores by sending my name to different collection agencies, ( Erroneous/false reporting ). The collection agencies are blindsided because they are not aware of the Bankruptcy and/or charge off until I provide them with proof of documentations. This company must be stopped from tarnishing and/or shredding consumers ' credit by trying to get paid by any means necessary - especially when they have been included in a bankruptcy that was discharged and/or in charge off status. I received correspondence from MRS BPO , LLC stating that I owe {$11000.00} plus of a Co-signed loan - which I included in my bankruptcy - Last correspondence was XX/XX/XXXX.

Debt is not yours
Complaint: Debt Collection company MRS BPO , LLC is trying to collect on a debt I believe XXXX XXXX XXXX has not proved to be mine. I got a call from them and said it was not my information. I sent them a validation of debt letter and got a response with no social security number or birth date on the loan documents. I do not believe they have done anything wrong or harassing of me but I needed the debt to be proved it was me and they could not do that. This has nothing to do with me. They also provided me with a signature that says XXXX as my first name in docusign which could of been done anywhere and isn't even my first name as you can see in documents that are attached. It is not even my name and I always use my middle initial especially on loan documents. Unfortunately they are tasked with collecting this debt that XXXX XXXX XXXX refused to properly prove. I am uploading docs to show what MRS had sent me as prove which does nothing as I said no social security number is listed or birth date and the name is not even correct.
