Complaint: I received a text on my personal cell phone on thursday, XX/XX/2019, saying word for word : " Please contact MRS Assoc. regarding a XXXX matter at ( XXXX ) XXXX. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. MRS is a debt collector. Further details have been mailed or emailed. Please review your email inbox, junk, or spam folder. Prefer to chat? Visit us at www.mrsbpo.com and chat with a representative. '' I received calls from MRS on XX/XX/2019 at ( XXXX ) XXXX and on XX/XX/2019 at XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX. I will not pick up or respond to these calls or texts. My XXXX account was closed on XX/XX/2019, which is only possible to do when the balance is {$0.00}.
I have moved from the address the account was linked to ( remember, the account is now closed - and had no balance left when I closed it ) and have received no mail or e-mail regarding the supposed " debt '', which makes the attempted collection illegal. They are giving me no details of the debt and I will not respond to their texts or phone calls. MRS Assoc. should be fined and put out of commission. They need to stop harassing me for debt I do not owe and this should NOT show up on my credit report.

Complaint: MRS Associates contacted me claiming to represent XXXX. I immediately did three things.
First, I disputed the debt. The claim is not valid.
Second, I requested written verification of the debt.
Third, I requested they NOT call me at my work.
The person on the phone was pretty silent. I told them I understood my rights and I was exerted them. They hung up. They did NOT respond to me again.
The SECOND CALL I stated again the same three statements. I dispute the debt as it is NOT valid, I require written verification and they are not to contact me at work.
Today, XX/XX/XXXX, they called me a third time. I demanded a supervisor. They delayed and at first denied they had supervisors. Finally, I spoke to " XXXX XXXX '' XXXX XXXX 's conversation meandered and contradicted itself. I again stated that twice prior I had disputed this debt and had requested written verification. He fist claimed they had never contacted me before. I stated, regardless, I require written verification of the debt. HE REFUSED, claiming they had sent it prior. I stated the obvious. that first he claimed they had never contacted me, now he claimed they had verified. I stated I had never received written notification and I required it. He said he couldn't do that. I stated SIX TIMES that I required written verification. I asked him if he was refusing to provide it. He would not answer me.
XXXX XXXX said there would be " legal consequences ''. I responded that I was aware of my rights under federal law and that he was required to provide me with written verification. He refused, this was the 7th time in the same conversation. I told him that they should not call me at work and that I was going to report them to the state attorney general and other offices. He hung up on me.

Complaint: I sent a letter to MRS BPO LLC on XX/XX/ 2019 ( within my 30 day window ) disputing the validity of the debt ( Acct Number XXXX ). I have yet to receive a response from the company validating the debt that is owed. In my letter that I have attached, I asked them to provide the proper documentation within 30 days and if not that they should remove from all credit reports. Nothing has been done.

Complaint: MRS has been calling my work line and cell line for several weeks/months about a debt I do/did not know about. After checking my mail yesterday, I received a letter from them about a debt by XXXX XXXX XXXX and to respond in 30 days to dispute debt. The letter is dated XX/XX/ 2019 and tied to an account balance of {$2800.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which I never received any letters from them about this debt either. Due to not knowing about debt until I received this letter, I will be disputing it. I placed this though under communication tactics because they call my phones twice if not three times a day.

Complaint: I XXXX XXXX along with my husband XXXX XXXX are going through a long term financial hardship. We most likely will be filing for a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy in the near future. In the meantime, we have asked numerous debt collection agencies to cease and desist making threatening calls to both of our cell phones. These collection agencies are even calling our neighbors and relatives looking to make contact with us. This has to be an illegal collection practice, and we do not desire to have relatives know of the financial problems we are going through. Accordingly, we wish to have all calls cease immediately.

Complaint: During a credit report check on XX/XX/XXXX for the purpose of purchasing a new home, this account was shown as a collection account for an energy company I used in my last home. I moved from that home, out of state in XXXX of XXXX. The home remained vacant until XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive any communication from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX or MRSBPO at any time to my new address. Once I became aware of this collections account, I immediately contacted them and paid the balance in full. I did not dispute the validity of the debt since I was familiar with the company. I do take full responsibility for this debt and the lateness of it. I did ask the company to delete this collections record from my credit report in good will. For this account of {$180.00} is what is standing between me owning a home and not. They refused to delete the account. Now, my excellent credit has dropped 100 points and I have a Public Record of this account.

Bpo reported a XXXX dollar debt to my credit report all 3 bureaus I've never heard of them they never gave me the right to dispute they just put it on my credit. It's not even mine. There's no account number on credit report either. They have no information on the debt at all and are not willing to remove it.
