Complaint: My insurance premiums kept going up though I had no tickets or accidents. This last time I just couldn't take it no more when they up and took it out of my account at almost double my premium I called they said that I had a ticket and no I haven't. Argued with them for a minute then they told me to get my record. Gave me the number to the reporting agency and I requested a copy. They sent me a copy and then I see several tickets and accidents I never have as well as the lady 's information that had this stuff. Different date of birth differant ssn different address well different everything even name. This is so unfair on credit reports and now I've been forced to pay higher insurance because of this.

Complaint: LexisNexis claims to be unable to process my request due to inability to authenticate me based on the information I provided. I used a letter on XX/XX/2018, used by many others to which LexisNexis has responded to by starting investigations. The public records are the identifiers of note. LexisNexis has violated the FCRA 30-day provision. If LexisNexis can not validate me it seems the public records can not be validated either. Asking for additional information is a well-documented delay tactic of LexisNexis. The bankruptcy and my demographic info is what is needed as per other complaints to your company. The FCRA clearly outlines the information I am required to provide. I provided the information with my dispute on XX/XX/2018, XX/XX/2018, and XX/XX/2018. Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I filed a complaint against LexisNexis with the CFPB, Case # XXXX, about an erroneous reported bankruptcy appearing on my credit report. I requested they provide me with the original creditors name and telephone number, and who they spoke to that physically verified this account was indeed mine.
On XX/XX/2018, I received a letter from LexisNexis stating they had indeed verified this account as accurate. I am writing this complaint to the CFPB to notify them that LexisNexis has violated my FCRA rights and I intend to pursue litigation against LexisNexis for monetary relief for this violation.
In the letter sent to me, LexisNexis states they received verification of this erroneous verified bankruptcy from LexisNexis XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, a company which they indicate sells public records to a variety of customers, including consumer reporting agencies such as XXXX , XXXX , and XXXX . LexisNexis XXXX XXXX has no role in determining what public records relate to which consumer.
This is a violation of FCRA 611 ( 6 ) ( iii ) which I have also included in my complaint. LexisNexis did NOT verify the accuracy of this erroneous account with the ORIGINAL CREDITOR, which would be the US BANKRUPTCY COURT, but instead received it from a third party wholesaler of public records, who by the way, retrieved it from the XXXX system, which is a public records reporting system which legally in court cases has been shown to be notorious for reporting wrong information. I demand this erroneous bankruptcy be removed from my LexisNexis credit report IMMEDIATELY or else litigation for violation of my FCRA rights will be swiftly forthcoming!

Complaint: I submitted a public record investigation request to LexisNexis XX/XX/2018. I received a response more than 6 months after stating that the public record item was verified, only after sending a complaint XX/XX/2018. In my correspondence, I request the Method of Verification which LexisNexis did not give, in clear violation of FCRA. Additionally, they exceeded 30-day response requirements per the FCRA. They know this because I have a friend who had the same issue recently and LexisNexis in accordance with the FCRA removed the item in question

Complaint: I found a Bankruptcy reporting on my consumer report with Lexis Nexis, I sent a letter requesting documentation bearing my signature. I received back a letter stating it was verified with no documentation of verification.
I then sent a second request demanding per FCRA SS 611 ( 15 U.S.C ss 16811 ) description of procedure used to verify and under rule Bankruptcy Rule 9037 in addition to a " personal identification of prmation defines as individuals social security and taxpayer identification numbers, names of minor children, last 4 of SS and dates redacted. Therefore the claim of verified is in violation of FCRA Section 611 ( a ) ( 2 ) which requires you to notify the party who furnished the dispute information, also in violation of Section 5 ( a ) of federal trade commission act ( 15 USC ss 45 ) which prohibits " unfair '' or deceptive acts or practices. Lexis Nexis replied with disputing on my behalf with XXXX. I am disputing Lexis Nexis in their reporting of a bankruptcy on their report they hold under my personal information.
Lexis Nexis can not verify a bankruptcy through a 3rd party, I am entitled to have the name, address and phone number of the PERSON who responded back with verification per FCRA Section 611 ( a ) ( 2 ) this can not be done and therefore it must be removed from my report with Lexis Nexis.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I mailed Lexis Nexis a certified Mail letter disputing a degrogatory/ negative public record on my Lexis Nexis report. It states I have a Bankruptcy, and I was disputing that. I again requested my Lexis Nexis consumers report, and they not only did not place that record as disputed by the 30 days the law and my rights state they have they did not reply back to me at all, and have neglected their obligation as a reporting agency to do so per the laws, and rights you set before them, as well as Fair debt and reporting agencies have to do. The information they are reporting is not accurate, and has affected my life tremendously. Their enormous fabricated record keeping has slandered my name, and as my letter stated I would handle that to the fullest extent. The only response I received was someone elses information which violates their rights as a consumer with very personal, and sensitive information that had I been a thief I could use against them. I have included pictures of my letters, can prove their record keeping skills are absolutely horrendous. They sent someone elses information to me, and expect me to set tight while they do the same to me, and continue reporting false info about me to perspective jobs! I will not have it, and demand the laws in place to protect myself, and my rights are utilized in such an instant. I lost I very good Job Opportunity based on their poor reporting practices, and have no filed all complaints my letters told them would take place due to this dafamation of my character. Please hold them accountable for their many violations of my rights, and hold them to the laws you set behind to protect consumers such as myself!
