Complaint: We filed the following complaint against Chase through this website.
COMPLAINT ID XXXX SUBMITTED ON XX/XX/2019 PRODUCT Checking or savings account ISSUE Managing an account But disappointingly, we have been told they can not help us because we are not their customer and there's a third party involved - I assume they mean the con man who has been using Chase to cheat people of their money. We've been told the case is closed. That's simply unacceptable, especially in this day and age of Internet scams. Banks are the loophole. Scam artists are using banks to take people 's money. Banks and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau must do more to stop this. I understand you can not discuss the account holder/scam artist in question but you can at least explain to me what Chase 's general procedures are when faced with such complaints.
1. Do you freeze the accounts?
2. Do you launch an investigation?
3. Do you take evidence from the victims of the scam artist?
4. Do you blacklist such account holders if you find sufficient evidence they are using your bank to take people 's money?
5. Do you do anything to stop this from happening again, for instance by REALLY checking the ID of people who open accounts and making sure they are not fake IDs?
6. Do you forward the complaints, evidence to the FBI 's Internet Complaint Center ( ic3 ) so they can track down these people and file criminal cases against them.
Or does Chase simply take people 's money, loan money to earn interest and do nothing more for consumers?
Do banks like Chase understand that you exist, your jobs exist because of something we the consumers give you - that's TRUST. If we no longer trust you and believe you have our best interest in mind, why would we put our money with you?
My next steps are to tell everyone I know and publicly on social media the sad incident that happened to us and to urge my family and friends to not put their money with companies that do not have our best interest in mind.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 XXXX XXXX took out {$290.00} of my account with out my permission, I notified Chase on XX/XX/2019 when I noticed the transaction to dispute the charge and refund my money.
Chase had me file a claim on the phone and go into the local branch to file another after telling me they denied the claim because I had done business in the past with this company. I informed them having done business in the past does not give anyone the right to take out of my account without my permission.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX our firm issued a check in the amount of {$10000.00} drawn on our Chase checking account for XXXX 's rent. It was payable to XXXX XXXX XXXX. On or about XX/XX/XXXX I received a telephone call from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( paying bank ) questioning intended payee. They acknowledged that the check was payable to XXXX XXXX XXXX but had been endorsed by and deposited into an individual 's account. XXXX recommended that we contact Chase 's Fraud Department which I promptly did to request credit to our account for this check which they acknowledged had not been properly endorsed. At about this time the Landlord questioned why rent was not paid so we were obligated to issue a second check for {$10000.00} expecting Chase, upon reviewing the check they had improperly paid from our account ( the check was endorsed by an individual, not the payee, a national bank ) they would promptly credit our account. This they failed to do. Instead they embarked on a process to delay addressing our claim. Instead of promptly making available their " required claim forms '' Chase delayed for weeks in providing them. They were provided on XX/XX/XXXX and submitted on that date. On XX/XX/XXXX Chase requested that same form be resubmitted. On XX/XX/XXXX Chase advised it would take 90 days to resolve. It is clear that both payeeing bank and Chase acted in violation of the UCC and our deposit agreement with Chase in paying this check without checking the endorsement and thus paid over an improper endorsement. Apart from being out over {$10000.00} we are aggravated by the fact that Chase has taken the position that our firm acquiesced, to reduce their costs and thus increase their profitability, in their assuming the business risk of not checking endorsements and thus we have no basis for complaint with respect to the 60 days taken so far in crediting our account in spite of the fact that Chase 's policy was at variant with the UCC and their deposit contract with us.

Complaint: Applied for the new IHG premier credit card.
XX/XX/2019 -Received the card on Friday ( Approval was the week before ). Card went thru partner verification with IHG so IHG approved it and card was issued. Card is being used all over weekend and even Monday XX/XX/2019 with no issue.
XX/XX/2019 - Tried to book 4 nights at a hotel, was getting charged for the 4th night. Tried calling IHG, they do not have an updated information. Said I should call chase because the problem is at their end.
Called chase and chase stated I have the benefits as soon as I activate the card. The card is already approved and it shouldnt go thru anymore verification.
Called IHG again and they stated it may take 4-6 weeks for my information to be updated and for me to be eligible for 4th night free.
That is just a summary, actually its more of a whole day of calling and contacting chase and IHG and ultimately IHG stating that its because their system is not updated. Contacted IHG thru live portal, phone call and XXXX XXXX ( I hate transcripts for this one ). Nobody can help. The fact that in no place in terms and condition does it say that I am not eligible for the 4th night free during a certain period is fraudulent marketing. Somebody forgot to update my information in their system and I am the one who ends up suffering because of this.

Complaint: Date of activity : XX/XX/2019 Merchant : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Original dispute filed : XX/XX/2019 Claims Dept : Chase Bank Case # XXXX My wife and I brought our family to XXXX XXXX for a day of excitement and fun but unfortunately services were never rendered due to severe weather which was totally unexpected. We requested rain checks from the merchant but they stated that they do not offer any type of rain checks or refunds for that matter. As a result, we are disputing the sum total of {$210.00} that was charged to us.
We have been to this theme park several times and this have never been a problem. We request that this situation be resolved in all fairness.
