Complaint: In XX/XX/2019, I applied for the XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card directly from the booking site for XXXX hotels, as I was paying for a reservation I was making. The offer specifically offered a XXXX XXXX point award after charging {$3000.00}. And this offer had been presented to me several times before I took it. The offer never varied during this XX/XX/2019 period that I booked on the site, which I done for several hotel stays during XXXX.
The card is a Chase Bank card. The application was approved and I received the card in late XXXX and started using it. ... ..Since then, in the last week, I come to find out that they bait and switched me on the offer, with some extremely inferior offer, and one I had never even seen or heard of, that amounts to a mere 2 night stays.
Because the offer was presented on the XXXX booking site ( XXXX ), my complaint is against both XXXX and Chase for fraudulently offering one promotion and then giving me an inferior promotion. When I complain to Chase to their email portal, they do nothing in response more than send a form letter response ( sorry for your inconvenience, etc.. ) It is obvious they don't even look into it. XXXX does not even bother to respond.
There is much documentation out there that this was the going offer at the time of my application. I have already charged the {$3000.00} and lost the opportunities of other hotel reward programs. On a separate but related matter, I have struggled mightily to try to get my points for each and every stay at XXXX properties this year ( I have accrued 80+ stays in 2019 ). They make you jump through hoops when it is supposed to happen automatically.
What I experience from these 2 companies is seemingly a combination of hubris, incompetence, gross negligence and ultimately fraud since they refuse to address the problems and don't seem to care at all about honoring their commitments. I also see that there are now blog sites devoted to XXXX 's grossly negligent handling of their rewards program.

Complaint: Chase purposely holds pending transactions until account balance is low and pushes these transactions active to charge additional insufficient charges. Current account balances reflects these pending transactions. Then the next morning current account balances show a different story from account balances the night before. Deceiving business practices to charge customers multiple insufficient fees. I have several screen shots and this happens often too often. Please let me know if I need to display these screen shots.

Problem using a debit or ATM card
Complaint: XX/XX/19 is the last day i had my debit card i made a purchase that day.that same day my card was lost and fraudulantly used in multiple things includeing a fraudulant claim made with chase and fraudulant deposits and fraudulant withdrawls and fraudulant transactions totaling over XXXX $ chase is denying my dispute for multipe inconsistencies/red flags which include my pin was used and writen down whitch is not enough to deny my claim accourding to the laws protecting me as a bank consumer and they refuse to use audio and video footage to prove it wasnt me they stated that thats not evidence. another inconsistency was that my account was being moniterd by a trusted device around the days of the charges and nothing was reported i do not remember looking at my account and i tried telling them other people has access to my account overview and that i had no idea of knowing about the transactions. also they said a day or two before i reported i lost my card charges were denied on my account because chase thought they were fraud and they never showed up on my statement and i wasnt notifed so how could i know they whouldnt tell me what they were either so i might of made those charges and i might not of how could i know if i am not told what they are. also i recieved the two fraudulant that someone tried depositing in my account from chase in the mail and ive never even heard of the place writen on the checks and the signiture on the back is not even close to my signiture and they have my signature on file. they have already taken money out of my joint accounts trying to get the money they think there owed back this is ridicouls and all chase can tell me is to find evidence and show them and that this is a unfortuite sittuation.none of there so called inconsistencies make sense or dont hold up and they cant deny my dispute because i wrote the pin on my debit card but they are.please help!

Credit card company won't work with you while you're going through financial hardship
Complaint: Spoke with agent in XX/XX/2018 explaining hardship because I was fired and that I was having health issues. Made payment and requested arrangement but to no avail.
In XXXX, I had another XXXX and called in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX to make arrangements to close account and stop interests and fees by making arrangement to pay them {$50.00} per month. They said unless I had someone to be responsible, that had a job, they could not make arrangements. In the meantime, they have raised the amount owed with fees and interest plus have been reporting to credit bureaus derogatory scores. I have never received call from anyone trying to settle or accept arrangement. I am XXXX and have health issues preventing me from getting a job.

Complaint: Earlier this week, I filed a complaint with the CFPB about Chase Bank not allowing me to make a claim regarding fraudulent charges on my account. Yesterday, I happily discovered that the bank had reversed my charges. I was unable, however, to transfer any of my funds. When I called the Bank today, I learned that my account was restricted and was in the process of being closed. No reason was given. I am currently on XXXX and not only do I desperately need these funds for medication ASAP, but I also have my Social Security check being direct deposited on XX/XX/2019 and it is now too late to change that information. Further, I learned that it might take another week to actually close my account and after that occurred, I would be mailed a check. I am obviously being punished for whistleblowing which is illegal. This is causing a major crisis for me!! Please help ASAP!

Complaint: My manger at work texted me and said she had someone call for an employment verification on me today, from a man named XXXX at XXXX XXXX at XXXX.
Since Ive had identity theft before and worked hard to get my credit in order, I called XXXX XXXX XXXX to see what this was about.
They informed me that they were hired by XXXX, but wouldnt give me a company name, and just gave me their number to call for details, at XXXX.
I called the XXXX number and XXXX XXXX company is who the number belongs to. I spoke with XXXX XXXX and this woman said I owed Chace XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and that thisbis an attempt to collect a debt. I explained my debts had been paid off over 15 years ago and above that, this is past Virginias Statute of Limitations which is 6 years. XXXX XXXX hired XXXX XXXX XXXX to call my employer.
She said she could see that these judgements ( which I already paid over 15 years ago before judgements were made ), were expired and they would send them back to XXXX XXXX company, but that she saw two more accounts and needed to transfer me to a manager.
She transferred me to a supervisor named XXXX ( with a XXXX XXXX ).
XXXX stated that there was a judgement for me for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. These were also paid off aroundXX/XX/XXXXXXXX and the statute of limitations have expired. I should not have any judgements on me.
I have worked hard to pay off my creditors back then and over 15 years later, multiple calls are being made to my employer.
I believe this to be harassment, and the statute of limitations for Virginia has expired.
While I was on the phone with XXXX, I was disconnected, so I called back and talked to XXXX. She big up on me. I called back again, and spoke with a man. He put a cease calling on my account, which is good, but I dont think it was legal for them to hire XXXX XXXX XXXX to call my employer.
I am up for a promotion, and now this looks very badly on me with the multiple calls.
Please have them cease and desist. Also, how do I ensure my credit is not ruined because of them?

I recently started a new business and my spending pattern got changed. It was really a tough time when my accounts were closed being a new business owner. They closed our 4 credit cards, personal checking, business checking, brokerage and retirement accounts. I would like Chase to explain why they closed my accounts?
