Other problem
Complaint: On or about XX/XX/XXXX I paid XXXX XXXX XXXX {$7200.00} as payment for work on my home, in XXXX I had paid them {$13000.00} as a deposit. Since that time I have found numerous deficencies in the work 2.5 bathrroms tile and not been sealed and caulk was cracking and falling out, new floors had paint on them, paint was not completed or poor quality, paint dumped in side yard. They installed a new tub that was cracked in two places any many others. They have been here 4 times to fix problems but have not fixed any of them. They have no interest in making it right because they have been paid in full. In XXXX I filed a dispute with my credit card Chase. A month later I called to see what the status was ... they had closed the dispute, without contacting me for any further info. I have 62 emails and photos between myself and XXXX XXXX detailing the issues, in one he agrees all these items need to be repaired. On XX/XX/XXXX I again attempted to file a dispute and called them to ask what info they needed. They said at this time they did not want the correspondence or photos, I mailed them anyway.. On XX/XX/XXXX, they sent a letter saying they would contact me if they needed anything else. On XX/XX/XXXX, I again called Chase claim ID XXXX and was told the merchant had not replied and after 2 billing cycles without an answer from XXXX XXXX we would receive a credit, They did not contact me. On XXXX XXXX, I called Chase and was told the dispute had been closed. I was advised that they needed more info from me. I have had no phone calls and one letter letting me know they had received my dispute and would be contacted if they needed more info. They have not contacted me in writing or telephone and both times closed the dispute without asking for any further info.My husband and I both have cell phones and a landline with voicemail. If any documentation is required I will send 62 emails between XXXX and Myself. I have now lost the 60 day window to dispute the initial XXXX with my bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX paid as a deposit to XXXX XXXX, because Chase has not made any attempts to resolve this issue.

Complaint: I opened the Chase/XXXX XXXX Rewards credit card. At the time I was verbally told that the offer was XXXX rapid reward points and a companion pass after spending $ XXXX in the first three months. I followed a link provided to open the credit card. Now they are saying that the offer was over at the time and they have given me a much less valuable sign-up promotion that doesn't include the companion pass. The companion pass was the entire reason we signed-up and the reason the card was promoted to me. They have informed me that the offer was from Jan 10-Feb 11 and that my cc shows approval on the XXXX XXXX. The supervisor I spoke to said that they specifically don't send out offer details to confirm your offer when you sign up ( thus denying me evidence ) but also that they can't fix it without this evidence. I feel that their offer and subsequent actions are fraudulent and constitute deceptive practices. When I spoke to XXXX, they acknowledged that it doesn't seem right but stated that Chase is the one who has to authorize the deals so the error was definitely on their end.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: I pre-ordered an item on XX/XX/XXXX and paid {$350.00} with a Chase credit card. The merchant, XXXX XXXX, gave an estimated product shipment date of " XX/XX/XXXX. '' After waiting for this item for a significant amount of time, I decided to cancel the order as it did not appear that the item would ever be completed and shipped. On XX/XX/XXXX, I requested a refund from the merchant, XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, the merchant stated that my order was cancelled, and the refund would return to the original method of payment in five business days. The original method of payment was a Chase credit card that I had since closed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a secure message to Chase requesting that the refund be transferred to one of my open Chase cards. I also followed up with a phone call that same week, and the representative I spoke to informed me that funds that are sent to closed accounts would be sent via check through the mail and could not be transferred to any existing accounts. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Chase indicating that my " disputed charge '' would remain on my account and " the merchant is not willing to credit your account. '' I followed up with a phone call to Chase describing that this was a refund, not a dispute. The representative informed me that they did not have access to closed accounts. I explained my previous attempts via phone and message to locate these funds. They informed me to try to send a secure message again this time emphasizing that the refund I am looking for is on a closed account and that the previous representative may have looked for the refund on a different account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent another secure message with this information as well as the emails I received from the merchant about the refund ( see Attachment ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Chase with similar language about " the merchant is not willing to credit your account '' and " we consider the charge valid based on the results of our research '' ( see Attachment ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I followed up with the merchant, XXXX XXXX, requesting an alternate way to receive this refund given that my credit card company apparently can not locate the funds. On XX/XX/XXXX, the merchant provided a screenshot with their records that the funds had been refunded ( see Attachment ). This was my last exchange trying to resolve this between the credit card or the merchant.

Overcharged for something you did purchase with the card
Complaint: I was charged on XX/XX/XXXX to my chase XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$620.00} at XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX. As soon as the charge posted to my account, I notified Chase that the amount was incorrectly charged as the bill was supposed to be for about {$100.00}. We had thrown away the receipt since the amount on it was correct and we did not think there would be any issues. I attempted to reach out to the restaurant numerous times and they responded that the charge was incorrect and they had processed a refund. Chase denied any refund had been attempted and the restaurant did not respond to any more attempts at contact. Chase told us that since we did not have a receipt, we would be unable to dispute the charge and the only way to deal with it was to mark it as fraudulent. I proceeded to file it as fraud, i was sent a new credit card, and the amount was credited to my account. I did not hear from Chase again. On XX/XX/XXXX, the charge was re-posted to my account. I called Chase as soon as I saw it on XX/XX/XXXX and questioned the charge. Their response was that the charge had been decided not to be fraudulent so they were charging me for it again. I responded that I had email copies of correspondence with the restaurant where they had admitted to the incorrect charge and that they had tried to refund me. I asked if I could send this in as proof. They said yes and that they would send me a letter so that I could send the proof in with that. I attempted to reach out to the restaurant at this time and was again ignored. After posting reviews on the restaurant 's social media page, the restaurant finally responded and stated that they had already refunded us the money which we never received and which Chase denies. On XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out to Chase to let them know I had still not received the letter. I was told it can take up to 10 business days and to let them know if I still had not received the letter after that time frame. On XX/XX/XXXX i received an email that there was a letter waiting for me in my account online which I was able to download and see that this was the letter supposed to be mailed to me on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent in copies of the email correspondence to Chase with a description of what had been occurring. On XX/XX/XXXX Chase called to let me know they were denying my dispute since the window for dispute had ended on XX/XX/XXXX and because although the email showed that the restaurant admitted the incorrect charge and stated that they had refunded me the money which clearly had not happened, there was no amount stated in the emails for how much the charge should have been. In all of my phone calls with Chase, of which there were about 20 if not more, not once did anyone mention a deadline to dispute the charge or deadline to mail in proof. Even on XX/XX/XXXX when I called to complain about the re-posted charge, I was not told that there was a deadline. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I still have not received the letter from Chase that they were supposed to send me to send in my proof. Chase refused to contact the restaurant or to have the restaurant provide a copy of the receipt to show what the correct charge was. I requested that they obtain a signed receipt from the restaurant if they refuse to credit my money and prove that the charge is correct. This charge was for over {$500.00} more than the charge should have been. Even if I had ordered every single thing on the menu at the restaurant the charge would not have been that much. Chase refuses to help me or provide any customer service on a card that costs a $ 450 yearly fee to have.

Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Complaint: I have a loan with CHASE MTG and DPT ED/XXXX. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting both XXXX, XXXX, CHASE MTG and DPT ED/XXXX with no successful resolution. XXXX and XXXX only reporting me late. There was definitely an error on their part. I was never 30 days late.

Add-on products and services
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I charges on my Chase INK Credit card number XXXX a trip through XXXX XXXX for {$1900.00} ( I will attach the XX/XX/XXXX billing on the subject card showing the charge ). The trip was to commence on XX/XX/XXXX.
In XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from the XXXX XXXX XXXX which advised that XXXX was being suspended for having insufficient working capital, or being insolvent. Since the air flight and hotels was to be paid from the {$1900.00}, they obviously embezzled those funds for other purposes. See the attachment : XX/XX/XXXX letter.
Since the above account was closed I was unable to dispute the charge on-line, so I called customer service and got the run around, including Supervisor XXXX in Chase 's Fraud Department. She refused to give her full name, and refused to move the matter to someone who to access the account. She was completely unhelpful. I sent to Chase through the XXXX XXXX XXXX the 2 issues ( see Chase Internal message XXXX XXXX -- attached ). That message also was an attempt to confirm your receipt of my attachments to this letter.
The message XXXX XXXX from your Fraud Department ( why this was sent to them is unknown to me when it is a disputed charge ) wherein they too indicated that they were unable to find the account. Today I spend another hour wasting time calling the number provided in the message to no avail. The Credit Bureau specialist was my last contact. He found the account, but could only get to XX/XX/XXXX statement. He gave me an address to transmit a written complaint and dispute ( letter attached ).
The INK Chase Credit Card advised that purchases were insured, and that I was protected against fraudulent conduct by merchants.
Chase 's responses has always been that they can not locate the account, therefore they can do nothing.
A friend and travel companion, XXXX XXXX used his same Chase Ink Card, and they refunded his charge.
