Complaint: I recently open my restaurant on XXXX. On XX/XX/2019 i saw a charged on my account for {$200.00} i called the bank they open a case and cancel my card. I was told that i will recieved a new card im 5days new card was never recieved. On XX/XX/2019 The bank contacted me a weeek later and advised me that my chase was resolved and my funds was put back. I explain to the agent i still have not recieved my card, agent apologize and told me that i would be recieving a new card the next, the card never came after i closed my restaurant on the next day i had to go to XXXX to purchase some items fpr my restaurant i tried used my card to pay for the items and the card decline i taught to myself that not possible i had ovef {$2000.00} on my account and another {$1600.00} in my business account ( my personal and my business account are under the same umbrella ) i paid the items cash and once i got my my car i open my chase app and relize over {$2000.00} was transfer and i look ad my business account and it was transfer over to my business account from the the person stsrted swipping my card for {$600.00} {$750.00} {$600.00} several charged up to {$3900.00} i contacted the bank after being transfer several times i finally got someone to help me the agent open a claim. The next day my funds was returned a week later chase took my funds again, and this time the agent said it was me that did it and the not giving me my money back.for 3 weeks now my business have being shut down because my business account is overdrawn. I was told since its my card and my pin that was used it was me, but i explain thwt i never received the new card. I went to the police department file a report report my business in XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I applied for their promotional checking account offering {$300.00} for opening a checking account, I opened the account on XX/XX/XXXX received my debit and letter confirming my option our for overdraft protection on XX/XX/XXXX all be email as I requested all documents, statements by email as I like to save paper. So, I did everything that I was required to do, to get the {$300.00} promotion and needed to make sure it stayed opened with no negative balance, no problem!
Then on XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter in the regular mail from chase dated XX/XX/XXXX saying they will be closing my account ( I have XXXX informed delivery, which you get an email showing you the mail you will receive that day from the post office ) it was an the XXXX informed email I received that day as well. So, they held on to my money, sent me a debit card, emailed me a copy of the option out of overdraft letter on XX/XX/XXXX they like cash flow to make money then XXXX the consumer, stay away! Unfortunately, consumerfinance.gov would not let me reply and closed it after their reasoning is the agreement in the small print as usual, they can close your account at any time for any reason. For any of those that want to see my documents I will be glad to show you as attached and please notice dates of letters received.

Complaint: XXXX/Chase Visa advertises that it guards their card holders against fraud. I purchased a " ruby '' from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I agreed to a payment of {$500.00} US Dollars. I even received an Appraisal Folio no. XXXX signed by the Store Manager indicating under " Gemstone '' : # 1 - 8.5 cts - color Ruby ''.
Upon return to the states, I a jeweler indicated in writing that it is not a gemstone, but a " man-made stone ... valued at between {$20.00} and {$50.00} US dollars at the most '' I contacted XXXX XXXX about returning the stone and receiving a credit. I never received a response. I contacted XXXX about the fraudulent purchase. They denied the appeal and upheld the charge as I had not returned the stone to the store. So, on that basis, I returned the stone to the merchant by certified mail ( another {$50.00} ) along with a letter demanding credit. I never received a response or credit. After I finally received proof that the stone had been returned to the vendor I contacted XXXX again that I had returned the stone. Their response dated XX/XX/XXXX was that they upheld the charge : " While you may have a valid complaint with the merchant, the results of our additional review confirm that the transaction is valid and no billing error occurred on your account. '' This was an obvious fraudulent sale. I later discovered that there have been many complaints filed against this merchant, but they are still in business. As requested, I sent XXXX/Chase proof of the value of the stone. As they then were upholding the sale because I had not returned the stone, I paid to have it sent back and tracked it's return. And then XXXX/Chase turns around and indicated that it was a valid transaction. Now I am out the {$550.00} AND the stone which I returned so I could get credit from the merchant or XXXX/Chase.

Complaint: I have wired through one of Chase branches in XXXX XXXX, the exact Reinstatement Amount of {$43000.00} to JPMorgan Chase Bank In order to remove/withdraw their wrongful foreclosure proceedings on my residential property.
However, the Chase Executive Ms. XXXX XXXX, and it's trustee, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are not honoring even their own rules and regulations, she wants the Total Payoff of {$100000.00} now in order to remove their wrongful foreclosure proceedings with Sales Date of XX/XX/2019 at XXXX XXXX on my family resident.
She knows I can not prepare XXXX in such a short time. That's why I asked for minimum reinstatement amount to avoid foreclosure without resorting to Chapter XXXX- bankruptcy filing.

Complaint: Multiple times with the latest being XX/XX/XXXX chase has manipulated the order credits and debits come out of the account so they can collect late fees. I have receipts and screen shots showing a positive balance after a deposit and the next morning there are multiple bounced checks. First time i brought this up it was made right and I was told deposits have to be made before XXXX no mention of eastern time. This last time i made sure my deposit was before XXXX and now they are saying XXXX eastern. Their reps should no this stuff. On top of this they organize the transactions so they can maximize the amount of things over drafting. they had a class action lawsuit XXXX dealing with this exact same thing.

Complaint: XX/XX/2019-Chase Credit Card bill received in mail was for {$180.00} payment due date of XX/XX/2019. It included a credit card fee of {$37.00}. I called Chase to dispute the " PAST DUE '' charge. Over the phone Chase said they would dismiss the {$37.00} late fee received on the XX/XX/2019 Bill. I paid my minimum in full of {$150.00} on XX/XX/2019.
XX/XX/2019 - Chase Credit Card bill received in mail was for XXXX with payment due date of XXXX XXXX. Once again including a late fee of {$37.00}.
XX/XX/2019 - Email received from Chase Credit Card via XXXX that bill received on XX/XX/2019 with a payment Due date of XX/XX/2019 was at least 16 days past due as of XX/XX/2019. I also received phone calls from XXXX urging me to make the " Overdue '' payment.
Statements are not correct. Statements don't reflect proper payments made. Unnecessary " Past Due '' charges. Claims that my payments are late when they are not.

Complaint: I have a credit card with CHASE CARD. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason, I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report, I called CHASE CARD and they said their system automatically put me on paperless billing, which I did not request. I was awaiting letter in the mail all this time just to find out their system had an error. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and CHASE CARD with no successful resolution. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX only reporting me 30 days late 3 times. There was an error on their part. Complaint: Chase Bank is advertising a {$200.00} bonus for opening a checking account. On the website it says open account and coupon code automatically applied. The site also indicate that I should receive my bonus for opening an account within 10 days. I called Chase and asked where was the bonus and was told it if I didn't have a coupon code that it's too late to receive the bonus. I went inside a branch to talk to a representative and got the same result. I called customer service again and was told to create another account to receive the bonus. I knew that was incorrect so I asked to speak to a manager who was rude and condescending. The manager was not apologetic about me receiving the incorrect information. I think Chase is misleading consumers to sign up for an account and not give the bonus. I could have opened an account with XXXX XXXX, but I chose Chase because they used to have good customer service and wanted the bonus. I have documents to show the what information that the website is providing that proves I have been mislead. It clearly states the bonus coupon code will be automatically applied when opening an account online which I did.

Complaint: On Friday, XX/XX/2019, I gave XXXX XXXX /XXXX XXXX XXXX permission to use my debit card to pay a payment of {$540.00}. Within a hour I checked my account and discovered I was {$1100.00} over drawn because the XXXX XXXX/XXXX XXXX XXXX had tried to take {$540.00} and {$1500.00}. I immediately called my local Chase Branch to inform them I did authorize the {$1500.00}. I was advised by a man there to call the XXXX credit to let them know I would be stopping that payment at a cost of {$30.00} to me. I called and talked to XXXX XXXX. She informed me there had " been a glitch in the system and it was immediately voided and recalled ''. I called the local branch back and spoke with a woman. She explained that stop payment was not allowed because I had used my debit card however if it was recalled " it would be batched at midnight '' allowing the money to be returned to my account. On Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, the money had not been returned. I called the 1800 number for assistance. A woman there said that this is considered fraud. She stated that would receive " a partial refund on the next business day pending review ''. On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, nothing happened and I continued to be overdrawn. Today, Tuesday XX/XX/2019, I called the bank branch and was sent elsewhere.I believe it was the fraud department. I spoke with several people there. I was transferred from one supervisor to the next. One person said it wasn't fraud and I would have to wait for the XXXX credit to remove the charge.I was told by one person it would 3-5 days. Another told me 3-4 days. Finally another one told me 2-5 days. I was on the phone with a man named XXXX. He said to me " you cant wait another two days? ". I was very upset and demanded to talk to his supervisor. XXXX stated " hes gon na tell you same thing I did. I have told him everything ''. Again I demanded to talk to his supervisor. XXXX said " is it gon na make a difference? ". I explained that it would. I needed to know why after 5 days of knowing that it was an inappropriate charge and that it was overdrawing me was no one doing anything. XXXX said " well its a computer and we just have to wait ''. I asked if there were not people controlling these computers and I was told " no ''. He finally transferred to XXXX. XXXX said he was really sorry to have this happened and that he " would temporarily fix it ''. He put the {$1500.00} back in my account and had me check while we were on the phone. This had been " temporarily been resolved ''. XXXX then said " I'm gon na ask you a question but you don't have to answer it ''. I said " OK whats the question ''. XXXX asked " what do you need to spend the money on? ". I him it was for " gas and groceries ''. I feel that I was discriminated and demeaned by the question and his attitude. I felt forced to answer as I needed my money and that if I declined to answer he would undo the " temporary fix ''.
