Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I opened both a checking and savings account with JPMorgan Chase due to a promised bonus of getting {$200.00} for a new checking account, and {$150.00} for a new savings account. To meet the initial deposit requirement, I deposited {$250.00} into the checking account on XX/XX/2019. I initiated a transfer of {$10000.00} on XX/XX/2019 from an XXXX account to the JP Morgan Chase savings account ( due to the requirement of {$10000.00} being deposited into the account within the first 20 days of the account being opened ). I was notified both of my accounts were suspended on XX/XX/2019 via attempting to sign into the Chase Application. I called JP Morgan Chase XX/XX/XXXX and they insisted I visit a branch to prove I had the money in my XXXX account. I met with a banker at a JP Morgan Chase branch location on XX/XX/XXXX. I proved my XXXX account had sufficient funds ; per the bankers guidance ( I have his business card ) I reinitiated the transfer. I was ensured my account was no longer suspended at that time.
On XX/XX/XXXX I was notified my accounts were again suspended and my accounts would be closed via the Chase App and upon calling JP Morgan Chase directly after receiving the notice. I also received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that my accounts with Chase bank were suspended and closed and that I would not be notified as to why, ever, " at any level ''. At that time I had {$230.00} in my chase checking account, and {$0.00} in my chase savings account. I was ensured via the written letter that no transactions, debts, or transfers would be completed. I was ensured via a phone conversation on XX/XX/XXXX, that no transfers would be completed and that the {$230.00} would be sent to me via a written check. No date was given for the check to be received, even upon request. I have no direct access to my accounts with Chase and have not been able to access the information regarding the suspended checking, savings account, as well as my credit card.
On XX/XX/XXXX I transferred the {$10000.00} from my XXXX checking account to my XXXX savings account due to the information that the transfer would not be completed per JP Morgan Chase 's both written and verbal communication. On XX/XX/XXXX Chase bank withdrew from my XXXX account, {$10000.00} thus over drafting my XXXX account and thus forcing XXXX to freeze all of my accounts. I am now locked out of both banks. Upon contacting Chase immediately upon seeing the debt from the XXXX account, on XX/XX/XXXX they said that they haven't received the money, but " should '' they receive it- they will send it back within 4 business days. I asked for this in writing, and they refused. I asked if this is a policy, they said no. I do not have faith that Chase bank will return the money to my account- I believe this to be attempted theft. I contacted XXXX bank. They have frozen my accounts and due to the {$10000.00} being transferred between two XXXX accounts I am now deficient {$20000.00}. I have incurred " Overdraft fees '' with my XXXX account.

Charged too much interest
Complaint: I opened my Chase account XX/XX/2017, I have been making the payment on time since 2017. Last year, I had a minor XXXX and I was unemployed for six months, it kept me so behind on my bills since I didn't have a job. I explained this situation to many chase reps and asked them to help me with my financial crisis. I also asked them to waive the late fees and also reduce the interest charges because it's too hard to pay off with my situation. They refused to waive the late fees which is {$37.00} and also refused to waive the interest charges. Now, my balance is {$9100.00} and I started my card with {$8300.00} limit. My minimum payment is {$1800.00} and it keeps showing on my credit report as a delinquent account. I spoke with many people and they all are helpless. They do not help at all on the other hand, XXXX XXXX really helped me out when I was in a same situation.
I can not pay such a high amount because I don't make much and I am also an XXXX XXXX so it's super hard to pay off the whole balance.

Complaint: I contacted an individual on XXXX for concert tickets sometime early XXXX. The person had an account that seemed legit and answered all of my questions. This person fooled me into thinking I would exchange cash for the tickets as agreed upon. I asked this individual for the required information and for pictures. Once we made an agreement, I transferred the money on XX/XX/2019 and this person did not send me anything. In fact, the person disconnected their phone number and deleted their XXXX account. I was not able to get my money back as I sent the money through Chase XXXX. I did not know that Chase XXXX did not protect against this. I want a resolution to this and I want to ensure this situation does not keep happening to others.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: On or about, XXXX XXXX, 2019, I called Chase to hear my balance, and I discovered that there was a charge that I hadn't made to XXXX for {$570.00}. I told the Chase agent about the fraudulent charge, and she cancelled the card, took off the charge, and mailed me a new card.
A few weeks later, Chase called me and asked me whether I knew XXXX XXXX. I replied that I did. They continued with, " that name is on the fraudulent charge, and so is his email address ''. We got off the phone, and I thought that was the end of it.
On XX/XX/2019, I again called Chase and after listening to the automated message regarding my account, I heard that the XXXX charge was put back on my account. The charge was reinstated on my new card. I didn't know why. I immediately spoke to XXXX in the fraud dept. and was told that the charge was put back on my card because I knew the purchaser. I do not know him. He is my travel agent 's business partner and I am familiar with his name. My travel agent spoke to XXXX, and he did not know anything about this charge. He does not have any access to my credit card information.
I have received nothing in writing from Chase with any final resolution ( that my fraud claim was rejected ), nor have I received in writing any evidence supporting the rejection, other than a phone call asking whether I knew the purchaser. The charge has not been removed.
I have gone into the Chase branch on XXXX XXXX. in XXXX, XXXX. I spoke to a branch rep, who referred me to XXXX, head of the fraud dept. in XXXX. I submitted a letter written and signed by my travel agent, XXXX. This letter was submitted electronically to XXXX on XX/XX/2019. I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/2019. XXXX told me that the purchase was credible, and there would be no refund to my card.

The house is paid for so I would increase my net worth. Some people just dont want to help others succeed even though they have been in good standing with the bank for many years.
