Complaint: A student loan with Chase bank, they sold there accounts to XXXX - which now holds my account. This happened back in 2013. Though I have made numerous attempts to contact them, they do not respond and they tell me know one works in that department any more so there is no one to contact. Because of this, instead of saying sold on my credit report it shows that I am very behind on payments and it is hurting my credit. I have called them and mailed letter, and no response.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: I have a credit card through Chase Bank. I have three different balances on the card each with their own interest rates. I made the minimum payment and then made two other payments hoping they would go towards the balance with the highest interest rate ( cash advance ). It did not. When I called i asked them about this and they said that is not how their system works. I was told that The Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 would force credit card companies to apply excess payments that blling cycle to the balance with the highest interest rate first. Can you please help me with this issue or am I misunderstanding how the process works.

Complaint: Some time around XX/XX/2018 my checking account was double debited for my mortgage payment. Both my mortgage and checking account are with Chase Bank. I called Chase and over the course of a couple days they were able to fix the issue and return back the second mortgage payment. All is well until I noticed I never received credit for my annual 1 % cash back, a promo given by Chase at the time my mortgage closed. That credit is given annually, {$170.00} which is 1 % of my annual principle and interest payments. I have been receiving this promo since XX/XX/XXXX and it's for the life of the loan. I reached out to Chase where they have been unable to correct the issue. I have reminded them on multiple occasions that this error was caused by them and not me. The root cause of the issue is when the payment error was corrected the Chase representative removed my auto debit from my checking account. I never requested this nor was I advised this was being done. I let Chase know this was done without my authorization and I have been a long time customer who has ALWAYS paid my mortgage on time if not early. The auto debit was never raised as a concern to me because I always pay on the XX/XX/XXXXt or prior and the auto debit was set for the XX/XX/XXXX business day of the month. I am asking for my 1 % promo to be reinstated and that I received credit in my XX/XX/XXXX statement of {$170.00}. I had a remaining 24 years left of promo credits totaling {$4100.00}. If they are unable to fix this issue going forward due to technical capabilities then I would expect them to honor their commitment up front and avoid future issues or having to do this every year. I will mention again, I tried on multiple occasions to fix this with Chase and they are not helpful at all or even care about their customers.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 contact Chase Bank to inquire about reopening a new account. I was told I needed to clear an amount that was in collections, then I could proceed. I paid the disclosed amount, and the rep, Mr. XXXX noted my profile, and told me that I was still eligible to bank with Chase, and could open a new account at my leisure. I stopped by my local branch on XX/XX/XXXX, and scheduled an appointment to open my new account for XX/XX/XXXX. I opened my new accounts at the branch with a truly amazing banker named Ms XXXX. The next day I also opened a Finn account for use when I travel locally and abroad. I also opened a U Invest account for investing on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I stopped by a branch in XXXX Florida to make a cash deposit at the ATM machine, and the transaction was denied multiple times. I called customer service to check on this, and was transferred to their Loss prevention dept. I was shocked to find out that all my accounts were restricted, and the rep I talked to told me they were going to be closed, and she had no valid reason that she could provide. She also said I could NEVER open any accounts with Chase again. She apologized, and said Chase decided to close the accounts, and that was that. This is unacceptable. I can not condone or overlook this type of discrimination. There was no strange or irregular activity on any of my accounts. Chase extended even extended an invitation to restart our financial relationship. I do not appreciate the way Chase has treated me.

Complaint: Forged deed. XX/XX/2005, my home, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, per divorce court order, was sold to a person who, as I recently just learned, shows no record of ever existing. My home was flipped 4 months later at a {$40000.00} higher cost, with the fraudulent buyer of my home in XXXX turning over my large house quickly, at a much higher price, in a poor housing market at the time.The mortgage release, which my then spouse said I HAD to sign, with his providing no explanation for the delay from my home being, presumably, sold XX/XX/2005, and the release I was told to sign, from WAMU, being dated XX/XX/2005 ( after the XX/XX/2005 sale/flip, which at that time in XXXX, I knew nothing about. ) The mortgage company was Washington Mutual, now Chase Bank.

Problem accessing account
Complaint: When trying to transfer money from my Chase account to my external XXXX XXXX XXXX account it was placed on a security hold.
When I called up to release this temporary hold, I was asked 3 security questions.
The system did not accept one of the answers, and now my online account is frozen.
Chase has said the only way to resolve this, is to go to a Chase Bank, with 2 forms of ID.
I live in the XXXX ( XXXX ) and can not walk, and I have not been in a Chase bank in the USA in 4 years.
Chase are asking me to take time off work, fly to America, and show them ID, so I can access my own money?
They are happy to verify me on the phone and discuss my account in detail, but they will not unlock my online account.
Not acceptable.
I have called and spoke to countless supervisors, security teams etc and the answer is the same.

Complaint: I have attached a PDF file including details surrounding my dispute. I have put many many many hours into disputing these charges. I have had not resolution, & I gave up. But, I'm asking you, the CFPB for help, because I was advised to by a person in my exact same situation, we both got ripped off by the same company, & we both had trouble getting out money back. Complaint: Account Name : XXXX XXXX Last four of account : ... XXXX For nearly a year Chase Cards has been charging my account that has had tremendous effect on my credit report. They have continue to put excessive fees on my account which they claim is legitimately mine. However I have repeatedly told them this was paid off nearly 9 month ago. The remaining fees are all the excessive fees put in by Chase to an account that was paid off. I have attempted 2 other times to report Chase but every outcome has been conveniently in their favor. Attach are portions of the last 5 statements of the excessive fees to an account that has been paid off.
