Complaint: I opened the saving account for the {$25.00} bonus. I was supposed to received the {$25.00} bonus after 3 consecutive auto transfers from checking to savings. I notice on XX/XX/2019 that automatic transfer was cancelled for not enough funds into my checking 's account. Therefore, I put enough funds in my account on XX/XX/2019 requested that the executive team reactivate my automatic transfer for the month of XXXX. Although Ms. XXXX reached out to me from the executive office, she failed to try to resolve my concerns ( case # XXXX ).

Overdrafts and overdraft fees
Complaint: Chase is guilty of not posting charges chronologically, and charging me in a shady fashion to push my account into overdraft. They have a " 2 reversals '' policy for their overdraft fees and I have used this feature up in the last six months. I have had this account with them a little over three years.
On XX/XX/2019, I checked my account to find I was {$18.00} overdraft. I had recently reached out to Chase about putting XXXX charges from days ago onto my account all at once at the end of the month. This was the case today. Nevertheless, I hurriedly had my mother transfer {$70.00} through the XXXX app into my account hoping to avoid the overdraft fee. Right after the transfer was completed I checked my account and there was {$50.00} in there. The next day I awoke negative {$88.00} overdrafted. This was XX/XX/XXXX. I had been charged the overdraft fee for three charges yesterday. I also had a new, non ACH Debit card charge for {$11.00}. I called to ask why I was charged when my account was not overdrafted by the end of the day. They claimed it was after the cut off time.
I now had no money to eat. All the charges were days old charges from my XXXX. One from a week ago. All the charges were less than {$10.00}. I inquired about the {$11.00} charge. I had been told that they can not stop ACH Debit, but this was classified as a card swipe. I had signed a form at the beginning of my account stating I did not want them to allow my account to go overdraft, and to decline the charge. I was told by the manager on the phone that that didnt count and was deducted when I had money in the account. I checked my account today and I had three more late charges from XXXX, was charged {$34.00} for each. I was also charged {$34.00} for the {$11.00} charge I was told " didn't count ''.
When I called the line and asked why I was charged for the {$11.00} charge, after a long period of " investigation '' the rep informed me that they treated this charge like an ACH Debit and just allowed it through. When I asked why a manager would tell me it doesn't count I was told they could not speak on " pervious calls ''. I asked them to pull my call and they refused.
I do not remember the manager 's name but I know the rep who transferred me to him was named XXXX.
I am now {$200.00} overdrafted, and have not used my debit card for a sinlge swipe in five days.
This is completely unethical business practices.

Didn't receive terms that were advertised
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received an advertisement via email that new Chase customers could get {$300.00} for opening a new Chase Total Checking account with the set up direct deposit, and an additional {$200.00} for new Chase savings customers who open a Chase Savings account, and deposit a total of {$15000.00} or more in new money within 20 business days, and maintain a {$15000.00} balance for 90 days. I careful read all of the disclosures and was sure to follow all steps correctly to be eligible for both offers to receive the combined {$500.00} offer. I opened my accounts online on Chase 's website on XX/XX/XXXX. To date ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I still have not received either offer, despite numerous attempts to work with Chase employees to resolve this. ( On XX/XX/XXXX I deposited {$20000.00} into the savings account, well within the 20 business days of account opening. ) When I contacted Chase at the end of XXXX to discuss my concern. I called the customer service line and spoke with a supervisor. He informed me there was nothing he could do without the coupon code. I explained I do not have the coupon code ( at the time ) and the call ended. I later found the coupon code and called back. During this call a lady informed me that regardless of having the coupon code there was nothing that could be done to investigate/resolve this. She then told me the reason I did not receive the bonus offers for opening either account is because I did not enter the coupon code at the time I opened the account online. That was the only reason I did not receive the bonus amounts.
During the online account opening process Chase 's website stated " If you open the account online, your coupon code will be automatically applied ''. Furthermore, the email I received ( will be attached for reference ) specifically states, " Your coupon code will be automatically applied. Account ( s ) subject to approval. '' As a result, two sources confirmed that the coupon code would be automatically applied, therefore I don't recall entering the coupon, because it was being added automatically for me.
I am very frustrated with my Chase experience and the lack of payment of these bonus offers I rightfully earned. After phone customer service supervisors told me there was nothing they could do I contacted local branch management. They advised me to contact the phone customer service and said they could not help me. I am very upset about this entire experience. I want to be compensated {$500.00} to cover the {$200.00} and {$300.00} offers I should have earned. I followed all of the terms and disclosures correctly. Please investigate this matter and contact me back. Thank you

Complaint: On XXXX my chase checking account was hacked and 2 XXXX quick pay transfers ( account ending in XXXX ) were made to unknown person ( {$990.00} and {$770.00} ) totaling {$1700.00}. I immediately contacted Chase fraud dept and executive offices. I was issued a provisional credit of {$1700.00} while Chase investigated mater. I also closed accounts, opened 2 new accounts- changed ID and password. On XX/XX/2019 Chase came back with fraud claim denied with no notice/ email/ courtesy phone call or mail- they just took the amount of {$1700.00} out of my account ending in ( XXXX ) i had pending transactions and cause my account to be overdrawn - charging several NSF fees. I called fraud department and was told they determined that i made the wire transfers my self to a person i knew. They said decision was final and nothing could be done. I did not make those wire transfers. I do not know the person who received money transaction. I have never signed up or used XXXX quick pay. No one has access to my laptop/ cell phone so no way possible i am responsible for this fraudulent incident. Chase does not spend money to protect cyber activity with their online banking services. I also run a daily anti virus program daily on my laptop. I contacted the executive offices ( XX/XX/2019) XXXX ext XXXX ( XXXX ) said he would investigate- also communicated with fraud department XXXX with no success in recovering my money {$1700.00} plus NSF fees as a result of incident.
I have filed a online complaint with Federal Trade Commission and Texas Attorney general 's office XXXX consumer Complaints.

Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: I recently returned a leased XXXX XXXX XXXX vehicle that I had financed through Chase Auto Finance. Although I am covered for 'excess wear and tear '' up to {$1000.00}, the inspection they performed claims I owe them {$1100.00} for excess wear and tear above the allowed amount. The vehicle, in reality, was in fine shape, was returned with almost 10K fewer miles than the contract allowed ( hence, more valuable for them ) and was quickly resold. Itemized charges include " Carpet Dirty = {$65.00} '', " Front Seat Dirty = {$65.00} '', " Back Seat Dirty = {$65.00} '' and many > {$100.00} charges for small scratches. There were some small scratches on the vehicle - I live in a city - but nothing a normal human would consider " excessive '' .The only legit " excessive wear and tear '' charges are for a dent on the front bumper, and a scratch on the back bumper, which should cost less than the allowed $ XXXX ( {$660.00}, according to their estimate ). This is attempted extortion, and I will refuse to be ripped off.

Complaint: On about XX/XX/2019 I opened two custodial accounts for my daughters ( minors ) with two checks from their great aunt dated XX/XX/2019. The checks were drawn on XXXX XXXX for {$15000.00} each which intentionally is the annual exclusion amount for 2019 as this was part of her estate planning.
While both checks cleared from XXXX XXXX, Chase Bank decided that one of them was fraudulent, closed the account without notifying me, and I've been fighting with them for four months to get my daughter 's money back from them. It is currently held by them and was not returned to XXXX.
Originally they asked that the donor call them but she was in failing health in a nursing home so we sent them the authorization from her Power of Attorney which they said would work. The donor XXXX in XXXX and now they want the executor to drive several hours from his home in XXXX to a chase bank in Ohio to prove he is executor and indicate the check is not fraudulent. I believe any reasonable person would find this unacceptable.
Facts around the issue and expectation : The check cleared the XXXX XXXX account in XXXX of 2019 as did several others for the same amount and this is the only one with a problem. Chase had two accounts opened and funded by the same XXXX account, signed by the same holder, on the same day and neither one was returned by XXXX. Both checks were for the unified annual exclusion amount of {$15000.00}. At some point common sense should indicate their flagging this check as fraudulent was in error and they should give my daughter back her money.

Problem with rewards from credit card
Complaint: We had a trip scheduled for my daughter who was graduating to go to XXXX and XXXX. She unexpectedly had to have XXXX and was admitted to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX for the XXXX and released the following night with a statement indicating that she could not return to school for a week, couldn't perform any XXXX XXXX for 2 weeks and then was under travel restrictions for 3 weeks.
Our airline and hotel providers all used the documentation to promptly credit us for the trip cancellation. We have been going round and round with the Card Benefit Services organization XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX XXXX since opening the claim on XX/XX/2019. All we have filed is for {$350.00} for 3 one-way train tickets from XXXX to XXXX that we could not get waived. They are sharing they need the actual prognosis of exactly what was wrong with my daughter which feels like an invasion of personal medical records and that know that she was hospitalized and put on restrictions for weeks across the actual day we were to travel is not enough.
I am asserting this is a deceptive and misleading practice where a benefit is being advertised as part of our Chase Visa Sapphire Reserve card that is never really meant to be used as the service provider Card Benefit Services makes it so burdensome to use that it forces customers to give up.

Fee problem
Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I contacted Chase Bank phone customer service to have three {$34.00} overdraft fees waived due to low funds on my end to cover 3 bills. I explained I didnt have enough to cover the full negative balance. I was only able to deposit {$240.00} and my balance was negative {$27.00}. I was told there was nothing they could do. I request to speak to a manger but was told, Just to let you know, they are going to tell you the same thing I said. Horrible way to show empathy and provide great customer service. No effort was done by Chase to help me out.

Trouble closing card
Complaint: I received a phone call from JP Morgan Chase Bank a couple weeks ago advising me that I owed money on a Chase accountant roughy {$900.00}. I advised the representative who was calling me from an out of state phone number that I do not have a Chase account and further requested that she transfer me to the correct department to have the account removed from my name and social security number. She was incredibly unprofessional, hostile and rude, threatened to disconnect the phone call multiple times, proceeded to continue asking me for payment and advising me that she was trying to collect a debt, albeit having been advised that the account in question was opened under fraudulent means. Chase has violated federal law by refusing to take the mandated steps to correct this matter. Furthermore, one of my stolen checks in the amount of {$4000.00} was deposited into this account and Chase has refused to reimburse us for this. If I dont receive an adequate response with resolution I will file a small claims lawsuit against JP Morgan Chase Bank to recover my {$4000.00} as well as any further damages as a result of this account.

Non-sufficient funds and associated fees
Complaint: I have contacted Chase Bank in regards to the excessive overdraft fees and have received no help whatsoever. It is not fair to me, as a consumer to be assessed so many overdraft fees without having appropriate time allotted to bring my account current. As soon as my account even went negative i was assessed a fee, even though i deposited the funds to bring my account out of a negative standing. I have contacted Chase several times and I the representatives did not remove any of the fees placed on my account. With these excessive fees it has caused my account to go further in the negative. I have been assessed 10 insufficient fund fees within the last week which is {$340.00} that i do not have in order to bring my account current. I can pay the items that were being withdrawn from my account, but not the {$340.00} in total fees.
