Company closed your account
Complaint: I opened a Chase checking and savings account on XX/XX/19 for a {$600.00} bonus. {$300.00} of the bonus was for making a direct deposit to the checking account. {$200.00} of the bonus was for maintaining a balance of {$200.00} in the savings account for 90 days. {$100.00} of the bonus was for doing both of these.
I made a direct deposit to the checking and was awarded the {$300.00}. After receiving the bonus, Chase randomly closed the account without my consent. I maintained a balance of over {$15000.00} in my savings account for the 90 days and was awarded {$200.00}. I received {$500.00} of the {$600.00}, but the {$100.00} bonus for completing both requirements was declined because of my checking account being closed. I did not close the checking account. Chase closed the checking account.
I called Chase and tried to work with them. The representative I talked with asked a supervisor to credit my savings account the {$100.00} because Chase was the one that closed my checking, but the request was declined. I think this is a shady business practice to close an account for a customer that was following requirements and doing nothing wrong, and also to decline the bonus later on. I'm not impressed with how this was handled by Chase.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: I am filing this complaint based on the keys principles set forth by the Basic Consumer Rights. The Consumer Bill of Rights pushed for by XXXX XXXX XXXX established four basic rights ; the right to safety, the right to be informed, the right to choose, and the right to be heard. I was denied all four. On XX/XX/XXXX, I bought a vehicle from XXXX XXXX XXXX. As a mean to lower my monthly payment, I used a Chase Sapphire Preferred and a XXXX XXXX respectively to add {$4500.00} down payment. After I took the vehicle home, I discovered several issues that required immediate attention of the dealer. I called and spoke to XXXX, the salesperson and he advised me to confirm a date that I could bring the vehicle in. When I arrived at the dealer upon inspection there was more problem than I initially thought. At this point I asked to speak with the sales manager based on satisfaction guarantee that was issued to me by the dealer. After over six long hours managers finally agreed to allow to change the car for a similar model. As a practical matter, what he failed to disclose to me was that my {$4500.00} was not part of the refund. I found out in the process of the new paperwork signing because of the discrepancies in the numbers. Two things happened, I was not disclosed my down payment was not refundable and I did not have the opportunity to negotiate a fair assessment of what the cost to repair the issue I was having which by any standard would be a fraction of the {$4500.00} that I used as a down payment. I filed a complaint with both credit cards Chase {$3000.00} and XXXX {$1500.00} and they both concluded their investigation without fully investigating the matter and further proof of documents. They just took the dealer at its word and close the case. If those four standards of Basic Consumer Rights apply, I should be entitled at minimum to a fair hearing.

Deposits and withdrawals
Complaint: I'm looking for any canceled check with a value of 5K or higher in value from XXXX & XXXX. TO be specific I'm looking for a {$10000.00} check from XX/XX/XXXXaround XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX time frame A {$5000.00} check from XXXX from around the same time period.
So about 6 to 7 months ago I called Chase inquiring about looking for cancel checks records from XXXX & XXXX I called Chase online and had the unbelievable luck to find an employee who was willing to go that extra mile. It took about 1/2hr, but she told me to write to the following : Chase Bank Image Retention Mail Code - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX XXXX For cancel checks or documentation from over 10+yrs ago The letter should include my account number, date ranges or figure or amounts and or dates that you were looking for.
She said to be specific as possible or try to be as detailed as possible. in your letter.
Unfortunately, I didn't do this right away and I waited Fast forward to 2weks ago when I thought I had misplaced the information, I called Chase and I was told that there was no place to recover records that are past 7/8yr old. I lucky and found my notes on the above address and suggested that the Chase Rep update her or the group they record. in case other CHASE CLIENTS needed or wanted to locate canceled checks or bank records that 10+yrs Last week I was in the process of drafting that letter and I happened to just look online and google the address and googled Chase in XXXX or the address and I and found out that the address in question was a Chase facility however it is now a vacant building in XXXX All the comments & post online seem to be asking the question where all the departments & people did who had worked at building relocated too.
I called Chase back online to inquire about what had found out and to inquire about an updated address for Image Retention department which most Chase employs have never encountered or know about. Thus, I was told again that there is no way to get bank records that are 10+yrs old.
I'm looking for Image Retention that used to be at the above address or I'm looking for where to go to get information on any canceled check or statements with a debit entry value of 5K or higher value that was processed in XXXX and XXXX.
To be specific I'm looking for a {$10000.00} check from XXXX, around XXXX or XXXX time frame A check XXXX around the period.

Unexpected increase in interest rate
Complaint: in 2009 my interest rate was 9 % and i just got off the phone with my Chase ink company that said that due to the Credit card act of 2009 they were allowed to adjust rates as they see fit based on Credit history etc etc ... ... so since my variable interest rate has jumped from 9 % to 18 % to 28 % and I am told that is the highest its allowed to go as if i should be saying thanks. This is not fair to the consumers who are so busy with the daily lives to always be paying attention to the changes that are alway in small print. This is deceptive and should be looked into.

Transaction was not authorized
Complaint: I have a checking account with Chase Bank. A forged check for {$1100.00} was cashed from my account. I am unable to locate the actual physical check used, although having my other checks in my possession. I have reason to suspect my landlord 's son is responsible for the forged check.
I am no longer living under this landlord, there were issues making the residency uninhabitable and I moved out within 20 days. My security deposit check was returned. Shortly after, a forged check was cashed from my checking account. The landlords son had been in my apartment at least twice in my absence, that I am aware.
Chase Bank initially was supposed to reimburse the amount of the forged check ( {$1100.00} ) within 3-5 days. Speaking again with Chase Bank this morning ( XX/XX/19 ), they said it would be reimbursed by the end of the business day. It is now the end of the day, and has not been reimbursed. It has been 8 business days from when I reported this. And it has still not been reimbursed.
Please inform me of my rights and what next steps I can take to get my money back. Thank you.

Personal information incorrect
Complaint: One year after I turned my XXXX leased car into XXXX and bought a new car from XXXX, I received a letter from a collection agency saying I owed {$590.00} to JPMorgan Chase Bank. I have never not paid a bill on time. XXXX XXXX told me they were taking care of everything I owed on the XXXX lease. I left the car there paid for the new car and everything was fine until one Year later when I received letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX N J. I called and was told I owed this money from the leased XXXX. I was never called or received anything in the mail. I called XXXX and they said they had my previous address and phone number, so I never heard from them. I called XXXX and they said that it was not their responsibility even though they told me they would pay everything I still owed. I never received any bill in one year. I had a stellar credit report and this significantly lowered my score. I paid the bill the same day I received the letter and feel this was unfair. If the collection agency was able to get my new information, why couldnt JP Morgan Chase? I also have a few credit cards with them, so they have my social security number and I have never been late.My XXXX was bought in XX/XX/XXXX. My lease from XXXX was XX/XX/XXXX XXXX
