Complaint: We are consistently being charged with overdraft fees, even when there are deposits being made to the account before the overdraft fees can be assessed to our account. This has been happening for years, and when we ask for waivers of the fees because of this matter we get told that we are only allowed one waiver for the year, which is absolutely ridiculous to me, cause no other bank we bank with does that but Chase Bank. This has been a problem for us for years since we have had this account and I'm tired of trying t deal with it, with Chase directly.

Complaint: I am trying to remove a lien from a boat title. We purchased the XXXX boat, used, in XXXX. There were no loan institutions involved in the transaction with a private party - we paid cash. When we received the title from NYS DMV there was a lien indicated on it. The lending institution indicated on the title ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX, XXXX ) is no longer in existence. ( We have never done business with XXXX XXXX in any way. ) According to FDIC Bank Find, the XXXX XXXX XXXX became part of national Chase Bank in XXXX. At the advice of OCC Customer Assistance Group I contacted Chase Bank Customer Service today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) to try to track down the history of this lien. However, I was told that they don't have a department that does that. The NYS DMV ID for the boat in question is XXXX. The NYS DMV title document number is XXXX. The title was issued XX/XX/XXXX. I want to get the lien removed from the title because I want to sell the boat. We have taken out no loans for this boat. If there was a loan by the previous owner that is still active ( which I doubt ), we will then decide how to proceed. But first we need to know who holds the lien. Complaint: Loan paid off in XX/XX/2018. We still do not have the title. The company can not locate the title nor tell us how to get a replacement title. They will not return our calls and either hang up on us or just put us on hold. We have been to the DMV here in Florida. We have contacted the California ( state where the loan originated and our residence at the time of origination ) DMV as well. They both believe it is Chase 's fault and duty to deliver us the title.

Complaint: I initially filed a dispute with Chase back in XX/XX/XXXXagainst a charge from XXXX for {$25.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I wanted to file it online because of the convenience of not having to deal with a representative ... Although I suppose it wasn't all that convenient. Because all it did was create a mess. The real reason of my dispute was not being accepted. They need to fix their disputes section of their wesbite, because you should be able to select any reason on the site, not just one or two ... So after I clicked the wrong reason, I added the real reason in the notes, but I guess no one bothered to look at that part ... Chase then mailed me a letter requesting more information about the charge. I could not provide them with the requested documentation because they asked me for proof that I paid with another method, since that was the reason I had to select on their website. So they closed my case ... I then called them, which was about a month ago in XX/XX/XXXXand told them the real reason I was disputing, which was because I tried to return the item but only store credit was being offered, and that was not how I paid for the item. I also mentioned to the person from the disputes department that I filed a complaint with XXXX and the Regional Manager was supposed to call me about the incident but never did. I also mentioned that I still have the product, untouched since I tried to return it on XX/XX/XXXX, waiting to be returned if the merchant would like ... It has been a month since my case had been re-opened, and I have not received one letter in the mail or phone call regarding my case, and a credit was never temporarily posted to my account all of this time. So the first time I called today, after giving all of my information to a representative and explaining the situation, he transferred me to an automated system that hung up on me ... The second time I called, after 15 minutes of speaking to another person, who was just a tad arrogant, he hung up on me while I was still talking ... And the THIRD time I called, the third agent who I yet again had to explain my situation to, argued with me, saying that according to XXXX ' policy, they don't even return over the counter products once their opened ... Um, I've been returning items just like that to XXXX on and off for the last 15 years. They most certainly do! If it's their brand, they will return it, as per the XXXX Money Back Guarantee '. Not sure what she was looking at.. But ALL XXXX pharmacy and XXXX branded products come under a 100 % money back guarantee ... I kept explaining this to her but she just kept arguing with me. I then asked her to just please tell me what was going on with the dispute that was re-filed over the phone back in XX/XX/XXXX. She said they closed it ... Closed it?!? Why?? Because of the bogus XXXX she was telling me??? They didn't even inform me that they closed my case! No letter, no phone call, no Nothing!! These people are so unprofessional.And they treat their customers like garbage!!! And between the fraudulent charge to my account for {$340.00} that they said I authorized when I didn't ( which they STILL never showed valid proof of by the way ), and now this, I will be closing my account with Chase after I receive the credits that I am owed ... Horrible people.. Monsters ... Just like XXXX ... They must both be in cahoots with each other ...

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I made a purchase on Amazon and I thought I paid thru my XXXX account. I didn't realized that it was paid thru my Chase credit card. I never received any billing statement from Chase credit card for 3 months until I found out when i was buying a house. They submitted a late payment on my credit report for {$25.00} which made my fico score dropped 25 points to XXXX. I am currently in escrow and my loan will be denied if credit bureau didn't reverse the late payment record. Reversing the late payment record on my credit report will put my score back to XXXX. It was only for {$25.00}. This home purchase is a big dream for me because I saved my hard earned money for many years and established my credit. I called Chase and they didn't want to give me a letter stating that I was never really late. All I needed is a letter from them so that the credit bureau will reverse the late record. I am asking the help of CFPB to set the record that I never had a late payment. All I needed is a letter from Chase stating that I was never late, that it was not my fault.

Complaint: I selected a Southwest round-trip flight for four, scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/2019. The total came to approximately {$2300.00}. On the check-out screen, there was an offer to apply for the Southwest Rapids Reward card by Chase. The promotion being offered was {$200.00} statement credit and a points bonus for spending {$500.00} in one month. The web site stated that my Chase credit card application could be approved in 15 seconds, and that I would be redirected back to the XXXX web site to complete my purchase and earn my promotional bonuses. I applied for the card, clicked " Submit, '' and within 15 seconds was taken to a screen stating my credit application was approved. The page stated that once I clicked " Continue, '' I would be taken back to the XXXX site, where my promotion would be applied and that I had 30 minutes in which to complete my ticket purchase. I clicked Submit, was redirected to the XXXX site, but nothing happened. The page hung and refused to load. I touched nothing, worried that if I clicked anything, I might not get the applied bonus. I waited five minutes, then called Southwest Customer Service, where they told me it was a computer glitch and that literally nothing could be done about it. I called Chase, and they told me the same thing. So now I have applied for a card and had my credit score pinged for a bonus I did not receive, as I still need to book the flight today and have no further use for the card. Southwest told me there was no way they could hold the flight, or credit me {$200.00} for it, and Chase told me there was no way to get my card number so that I could use it on this exact flight, as advertised. Southwest tried to blame my computer for the hangup, and Chase told me " we aren't XXXX XXXX, '' refused to offer an additional statement credit or any kind of courtesy for their glitchy process, and on top of it had the nerve to say there was no customer service issue. Obviously this is a bait-and-switch to get people to sign up for their card on the spot, a mistake I will never make again.

Complaint: chase bank froze my account and stated they would permanently close it. all this after i filed a claim for {$80.00}. they still insist to close it. now ... .they are trying to freeze it over {$1.00}. i deposited the dollar yesterday. there was {$80.00} credit from the claim which i reversed. Chase not credit the account {$1.00} to close it.
