Complaint: This company has a charge on my credit and it is wrong! they are stopping me from being able to lease another apartment and causing lots of stress.I tried to dispute because the online information said ask for proof and corection they continue to not do this! 1 they had mold and everyone had no choice but to move and would not have any fees but im sooo confused also on my credit report its not even reported like accurate??? The balance is wrong ..The high credit??? im confused and dates of acivity is all wrong .. this account has no reason to be reporting on my credit report regardless ... They make these crazy attempt to always say accurate how and can never send proof of all thAT HAS been asked for this is illegal and im just in shock that its allowed ..Every credit report they report something differnt so how in heaven name can it all be accurate????????????

Complaint: Hi CFPB I am filing a complaint that's related to complaint number XXXX they have change there name on my XXXX from hunters warfield to XXXX XXXX XXXX. These guys are playing games with my XXXX and credit which isnt fair. I offered for an exchange but they will not send me original proof with my signatures showing its mine. They are playing games by harassing, threatening, using bad language very rude as I was being very respectful and polite. Their also changing the balance and their names on my report on XXXX and XXXX its showing closed negatively and the name they have is hunters XXXX and on my XXXX its show open and a different name XXXX XXXX XXXX. I'm just now seeing this on my XXXX under section XXXX under fcra they have violated the statue of limitations this must be removed of all my XXXX credit reports or else it's a {$1000.00} fine for each. This is a complaint I have filed related to complaint number XXXX they keep harassing me wrongfully I almost lost my job when they said I was going to be arrested at my job. This isn't right. Thank you cfpb for your hardwork I really appreciate your help.

Complaint: They call from different numbers up to 15 times a day to my spouse and myself. When trying to see what the debt was, we were yelled at stating that we know what the debt is and dont act stupid. When I requested a letter to verify the debt and to verify who they were, they told me they wouldnt give mail me anything until I gave them my card number. They were very rude, I told them to not contact me again until I receive a letter and we both continue to get calls. I first talked to them in XXXX of 2018. Nothing but calls sense.

Complaint: Hi I am filing a complaint for Hunter 's Warfield inc. This company has depressed me to death as i do suffer through XXXX XXXX, Hunters warfield keep harassing me, calling my family, friends, and job threatening me wrongfully to pay them {$1800.00} that that cant show proof of original document of I even sent out a validation letter and never gotten a response from them after they harrassed me for 3 months straight. They even keep playing with my credit report first they say I owe {$550.00} and then they say I owe {$1800.00} and then they update by decreasing {$1.00} now {$1800.00} but they don't want to respond to my letter i sent them to show original proof under section 609. These guys are causing me emotional distress and playing with my report, job, and messing with all my friends and family by harassing me saying there going to show up at my home and have me arrested for an owed debt they cant prove originally. This isn't fair or right this is a violation under FCRA and must be remove from all my bureas. Thank you Cfpb for helping were glad that you are here to help in situations like this

Complaint: I checked my credit reports on XX/XX/XXXX and found a negative account reporting on collections from a company called hunter warfield. I have never been contacted by this company and was never given notice of this debt owed to give me a chance to dispute it. However they have already reported it on my credit file. The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), which are enforced by the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) states that debt collections must provide written validation and verification of any debt attempted to collect. I am taken legal action to sue the collections company for violations the fair debt collections act by not contacting me directly to both verify and validate this supposed debt owed. I want proof that the apartment complex did not move a new tenant into the apartment before selling this incorrect debt to hunter warfield. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the XXXX XXXX XXXX reported 397 closed Hunter Warfield complaints over the previous few decades, such as 120 closed HW complaints over the past 12 months. The XXXX provides HW with a B evaluation. Additionally, XXXX lists 28 complaints filed in federal court in the past year alleging violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, two alleging violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and one alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Moreover, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) lists 255 closed HW complaints for XX/XX/XXXX.

They corrected the debt owed reporting to the 3 credit bureaus. As of today, they are incorporating interest on a debt that has a firm amount owed in which it is XXXX. The other account with XXXX XXXX is currently at {$830.00}, which is still stating I owe {$1000.00}, which is being reported. I came to a monthly agreement on a 24 month payment plan in the amount of XXXX, until debt is satisfied.

They requested that I provide them with certain information, cop of ID or valid driver 's license etc ). I called them and went through several departments. finally got connected with a support Dept. and the person wanted more information again, which I did not provided. I questioned the fact that the letter was sent to my place of business/work and all of a sudden got disconnected. I am afraid this company is fishing for information and uses fear tactics to get information. I don't know whether they are using it for ID theft or anything else.

In accordance to Furnisher Rule 660 4 ( 3 ), this is materially misleading. I have submitted several requests for proof of debt. HW repeatedly sends me copies of a bill. This is in violation of the FCRA. H.W. Has an obligation to reinvestigate this claim and verify its accuracy These Damages are based solely on accusations of H.W. clients. In accordance to an FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX You should be aware That a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. In addition, H.W. made reference to the Fair debt collections Practice Act, when in fact this is a complaint concerning the FCRA.H..W. Is a law firm and knows, this is an effort to deceive and mislead me. In accordance to FCRA sect 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) it is illegal to report information that is inaccurate when there is reasonable belief that it is inaccurate. Sect 623 ( a ) ( 1 ). Complaint: I moved into this apartment XXXX on XXXX. At the time I was in desperate need of a place to live so I was willing to pay just about anything to find a place to stay. They sold me on the fact they were planning on updating the place with new amenities. When I saw the suppose Demo unit for the place it was beautiful. Unfortunately they didn't keep any of their promises. I never received my in-unit washer and dryer, I never got my in-unit table but every month I was being charge the price of having all these amenities. I then contacted the office and the manager XXXX to figure out what was going on and he explained to me that everything would eventually be installed. None of what was promised happened. I didn't feel it was fair to be charged for something I never received so I explained to the office I wanted to move. They were extremely rude about the situation, the threatened to mess up my credit and never gave me any paperwork necessary to move forward with the process. I moved out all my belongings and returned their keys to them even after they informed me this my moving out would mess up my credit. Now they're charging me upwards of {$3300.00} when they didn't give me my security deposit back ( which I didn't expect to receive back ) and I honestly don't think its fair whatsoever and I would like it removed off my credit report.
