Complaint: Chexsystems is wrong! The FCRA section 605B, says all i have to provide is a copy of " an identity theft report '' Nothing at all about dates or time frames of when the fraud occurred. Chexsystems is trying to interpret and rewrite the law, which is illegal. They have 4 business days to block the fraud, and they never do. I got the XXXX accounts removed from my record, Chexsystems had to block it only. I gave them the information two years ago, they broke the law for two years, and lie about it like in this reply. Look at their policies and see this blatant disregard for the law. Chexsystems refuses to deal with the facts and hides behind XXXX. I am appalled by this behavior and asked them to provide me their policies in how they treat my account, they lie to your entity, imagine how they abuse other customers. Sad, and illegal is how Chexsystems breaking of tbe law is classified. Stop them from breaking the law, have their policies follow the law. There is fraud all over my account. They refuse to obey the law and harm instead. Fraud ten years ago, that is still being committed today, only takes ONE police report, unless it was now comitted by myself. The banks never charged me, because it is NOT me. Chexsystems can not ASSUME that, and not obey the law. I will attach the law, so they see there are no provisions in this law, for how they break the law.

Complaint: To whom this may concern, I am a victim of identity theft and I have previously reported this to Chexsystems, the FTC, Local Police, the CFPB, and others - however - despite multiple attempts to contact Chexsystems I have not gotten a response from Chexsystems and negative known to be false information continues to appear on my report. However, whats worse is that Chexsystems has failed to following the rights, as explained on Chexsystems ' own website here : https : XXXX? MOD=AJPERES Specifically, at least the following violations have occurred : 1. ) Chexsystems has not initiated an investigation into my disputes and continues to request unnecessary information as an excuse for not investigating. 2. ) Chexsystems has not provided me with a copy of my credit file in or provided me with a response to a dispute within the allotted time. 3. ) Chexsystems has not included my " brief statement '' on file, meaning I am being denied my rights to dispute information that Chexsystems has failed to remove or properly investigate. 4. ) Chexsystems has not resend my file to financial institutions who previously obtained a consumer file with disputed and known to be false information. 5. ) More generally, Chexsystems has given me the " run around '' and has refused to assist in the understanding, disputing, or management of their consumer files. Given this situation, I am requesting Chexsystems promptly remove all previously disputed information and send a response via registered or tracked mail to XXXX, XXXX, California, XXXX, XXXX. Complaint: Addendum to Case # XXXX ... .This is in regards to an account with a credit union. The direct deposit from the VA was not properly routed ( See attached ). Deposits had to be made in cash, at a local credit union branch. On XX/XX/XXXX, payments were processed via bill pay, before the deposits posted. Some payments cleared, while others were returned, some payments were returned multiple times. This in turn caused over XXXX dollars in bank fees. Unbeknownst to me at that time, some utility payments, as well as credit cards payments were returned by the bill payment provider. These payments were coded to appear as if it was myself who refused these payments, therefore causing 30 day late to appear on my credit files. Also, I have had a utility terminated due to this, as well as another utility suspended. I contacted my former credit union, to receive a contact number for this bill payment service. Upon contacting this company, the call suddenly terminates without my speaking to anyone in regards to this matter. I had a bill payment service approve payments while there are insufficient funds in one 's account. I have also attached proof some payments were attempted more than twice. According to credit card companies, when a payment is returned, that payment is applied to the balance, unless otherwise instructed. I did not interfere with the processing of the credit card payment. I was informed by the credit card company, a notation was placed on the payment, therefore causing the card to become late on my credit files. Furthermore, this company has not mailed me at my mailing address, in regards to this matter. I have provided notes from a conversation with XXXX XXXX, in regards to what was to happen if a payment is returned. Also, I have included verification of the Direct Deposit that was intended for my credit union for XX/XX/XXXX. Also, the address the credit union, as well as the USPS, and the Department of Veteran Affairs, as of XX/XX/XXXX. Also, I only received notification of this alleged debt after receiving a phone call from this company, on XX/XX/XXXX. I requested a letter be mailed to me in regards to this matter. I never received such letter. As I was contacted less than 21 days after the payment was allegedly made, there was no attempt to resolve this matter within the credit union. I was not allocated the full thirty calendar days to dispute this alleged debt. as it has been now over sixty calendar days, and I still have not received formal notice by postal mail, this alleged debt is hereby invalid. As you mentioned in your previous answer to the CFPB, my address was considered as " invalid '', according to your company. As an alleged collector of debts, my address could have been obtained by contacting the credit union itself or by conducting " skip tracing '' with the credit bureaus. Also, I find it rather perplexing how you had an invalid address when you contacted me via telephone. I also informed you of the correct mailing address per our telephone conversation on XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: Check systems is continually breaking the law and they lied to me and when I attempt to have them talk to them North Carolina attorney general or the local police they refused. They have been reporting XXXX accounts XXXX being XXXX and the other being XXXX and they have been reporting this since XXXX. I proved that these accounts were not mine and yet check systems feels it 's in their power to ignore the law or overwrite the law with their policies. When I attempted to correct them they refused and hung up on me. Instead they would rather harm me by reporting known and proven fraud as if it 's mine instead of doing the job that they 're supposed to do and investigating properly. My XXXX account is now owned by XXXX and XXXX has already given me the identification number for them attempting to get check systems to remove the reporting of their account because they know it does n't belong as being reported to check systems. I 'm going to include ChexSystems lies where they say that they contacted the financial institution and verified it in the financial institution says they never called. So I 'm calling to report ChexSystems has breaking the law ignoring the law and thinking their policies supersede the law. I was exonerated of any wrongdoing fraudulent by the police and the courts period ChexSystems seems to feel that a police report has a statute of limitations on how long it 's good for the same offenses. They need to be told very clearly that there is no shelf life for fact in the law and they can not stop doing something because they believe they 're right when they are a XXXX percent wrong. So I 'm hoping that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can get check systems to do the right thing and hold them accountable to Breaking the Law because my account was closed because they wrongfully reported XXXX and XXXX up until XXXX of XXXX My First Merit account was closed in XXXX of XXXX because of that wrongful reporting period chexsystem refuses to acknowledge anything except their lies and wrongful treatment of customers.
