Complaint: Everytime I try to cash my paycheck at XXXX or any other check cashing service in denied due to a company named Certegy. I do n't understand why everytime I call them they can never give me a reason why they deny me. This is not fair and a paycheck is a valid check! I have provided this company my id and asked for a copy of my file but nothing explains why they have me red flagged

Complaint: there was a bank account open in my name at XXXX XXXX XXXX, that is now close due to fraudulent activity and now i ca n't open any type of bank account because of this. my identity was stolen when i lost my wallet and phone a couple months prior to this. when you call the social sercurity place to report a lost social all they do is give you a replacement but ca n't tell you if things have been open with your information.

Complaint: I tried to open an HSA ( Health Savings Account ) for my employee-provided health insurance. I was turned down by XXXX different banks because of bad data ChexSystems had allowed into my file. ChexSystems tells me that someone at another financial institution typed in my SSN with a completely different name as part of a credit inquiry. ChexSystems then flagged my file as so bad that I could n't even open a simple bank account. This affected my health insurance open enrollment, my participation in my health plan HSA, and cost me many extra hours of time and weeks to unravel with ChexSystems. The bad business practices of ChexSystems failed to detect this problem earlier, despite their systems having all the necessary information. Instead, they flagged me as high-risk at XXXX banks. I highly recommend that companies avoid using ChexSystems entirely. While this issue is now resolved, I hope ChexSystems will change their faulty business procedures to avoid harming consumers.

Complaint: I sent numerous letters to Chex Systems to verify or delete XXXX XXXX XXXX from my report and they have reinserted this account after they deleted it back in XX/XX/XXXX. I will be attaching the proof here as Chex System could n't verify it to begin with and still can not verify this account that 's reporting on my report negatively. I have never been notified by Chex Systems to even reinsert this and only found out when I tried to open a checking account and was denied. I will include copies of letters received and recent letters that were mailed to Chex Systems.
Under FCRA 611 15 U.S. Code XX/XX/XXXXi ( B ) Requirements relating to reinsertion of previously deleted material : ( i ) Certification of accuracy of information If any information is deleted from a consumer 's file pursuant to subparagraph ( A ), the information may not be reinserted in the file by the consumer reporting agency unless the person who furnishes the information certifies that the information is complete and accurate.
( ii ) Notice to consumer If any information that has been deleted from a consumer 's file pursuant to subparagraph ( A ) is reinserted in the file, the consumer reporting agency shall notify the consumer of the reinsertion in writing not later than 5 business days after the reinsertion or, if authorized by the consumer for that purpose, by any other means available to the agency.
( iii ) Additional information As part of, or in addition to, the notice under clause ( ii ), a consumer reporting agency shall provide to a consumer in writing not later than 5 business days after the date of the reinsertion -- ( I ) a statement that the disputed information has been reinserted ; ( II ) the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available, or of any furnisher of information that contacted the consumer reporting agency, in connection with the reinsertion of such information ; and ( III ) a notice that the consumer has the right to add a statement to the consumer 's file disputing the accuracy or completeness of the disputed information.
I was never notified nor was I ever mailed any documents verifying this account. I 've also contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX as per the address they included and it was returned to me, copy attached. I demand this deleted immediately.

Complaint: Chex system actually wrote back to you and lied.
The police said that there is no shelf life or expiration date for a police report when it contains similar offences over the course of years to follow. Check system seems to want to feel that the police should do things differently and that what they like. The law clearly states that I need to file a complaint with them that the information is fraudulent and they have no more than four business days to block it. If they find they blocked it and error then they can add it back. The police do n't have to do their job and I do n't have to do their job I 've done my part according to the law of the fcra section 605b. I 've complied with that and they have broken that law. Please write to them with this complaint and tell them they can not rewrite the laws because they want it that way petitioner Congress people and have the Congress people rewrite the laws but they have to follow the laws as written. And there 's no shelf life for police reporter investigative report for ID theft and they 're absolutely is no leniency if they do n't react within 4 business days. We 're talking years now and they still have not complied at all. Have them answer to these charges because they are a XXXX percent factual. I 'm a victim of identity theft the court found that and the police found that I do n't have to constantly defend myself because an agency does n't want to follow the law. Have them remove this information immediately. XXXX XXXX XXXX Bank and XXXX XXXX XXXX. After the police report was concluded XXXX Banks tried to take me to court saying that I was using an alias and they lost. That 's the dismissal that was voluntarily done by the XXXX Banks. So much for the shelf life of a police report because this was the next year. I did n't have to file a new police report the courts accepted that XXXX from XXXX this dismissal was XXXX. The letters that have gone out for my attorney to these entities are dated XXXX of XXXX and they do n't feel I need to file a new police report because the police do n't want it and they know the law too. Check systems needs to be called out and have them follow the law they ca n't rewrite the law because they want to and they do n't like it. No argument they make is valid at this time unless the law gets Rewritten. Act according to the law ChexSystems not what you want the law to be.

Complaint: I have tried several times to cash my paycheck at XXXX ( Which Certegy handles the verification ) but they keep declining and told me to contact Certegy. I was very concerned because I dont have any negative transactions so I called Certegy and spoke with XXXX and her senior XXXX. I advised them that I have a copy of my consumer report and it clearly states no outstanding/ unpaid transactions and I wanted to know why they are providing negative information preventing me from being able to cash my check. XXXX advised that they cant tell you why the transaction was declined it was confidential, so I spoke with XXXX that stated the same thing. I asked her if I do n't know why they are declining the transaction how would I know if they are basing the decline on incorrect information. I just do n't think they should be able to just decline my transaction with out giving me a reason besides falling outside to the guidelines. They should be required to provide me with the guidelines so I will know if I meet them. I am simply trying to cash my checks nothing more. Please investigate this because it does not seem ethical at all.
