Complaint: This Cashier Check was stolen from the U.S. mail .., The company never got this payment so I stop the payment on it I stop payment on this cashier check and now this company that stolen the check from U.S mail are calling me and want the amount on the check paid to them., they are calling every day till I pay them WHAT THEY WANT {$70.00}. They tried to cash this check that never made it to the company I was paying the bill too? They now say I own THEM DOUBLE {$140.00} this cashier check was lost in the mail and reported in XX/XX/XXXX! I stop the payment They are trying to collect on this check in XX/XX/XXXX?

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I applied online to XXXX XXXX for a loan. The loan request was declined due to my short credit history. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I received a call from a lending company called XXXX XXXX through It 's representative XXXX XXXX XXXX with a loan offer of {XXXX Though I did not apply to the company for a loan, I nevertheless accepted. The representative asked for my bank details which he said the company needed to pay the check for the amount into my account. I innocently gave him my bank details over the phone. I did not suspect any foul play. I did not know he was a fraudster. It was my first time of getting involved in loan transaction. He also asked me to withdraw XXXX from the money which the company would pay into my account and pay it into an account the company would provide me. According to him, I needed to do this to boost my short credit history and prove my trust-worthiness which would qualify me for a bigger loan. Shortly afterwards, I received alert from my bank indicating the check had been deposited into my account. The next day, I innocently went to my account in ANOTHER BANK, withdrew XXXX and sent it to the account that was sent to me. After some hours, I decided to access the account the check was paid into and I realized my account had been frozen. Confused and not knowing what was wrong, I called my bank and they informed me that the checks that were paid into my account were fake checks. I immediately made a complaint to the Police. After investigation, the police gave me the case number to send to the bank, asking It to unfreeze my account, but the bank did n't comply. That is how the account has remained frozen up till now and it negatively affected my credit score.

Complaint: Our checks are getting declined when written at retail establishments. Funds are in the thousands and checks are for less than XXXX dollars. Complaint: This is regarding violations of the FCRA by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, in their capacity as a furnisher and user of consumer information. Briefly : The bank generated an erroneous XXXX score that does not match with the contents of my consumer reports, made adverse decisions based on false information, and failed to correct this information. Details : In XXXX 2017 I applied on-line for a checking account at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, in response to an advertised promotion. The application was declined twice, citing consumer reports from XXXX and Chex Systems. This was surprising and unexpected, since my credit history is excellent with zero negative items, and I had never been declined for a deposit account by any bank before. I reviewed my reports from both XXXX and ChexSystems, and found them both to be spotless with zero negative items. I had several conversations with agents of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( hereafter referred to as the Bank ), including their Executive office. I presented the complete and detailed consumer reports from XXXX and Chexystems, pointed out that they contain zero negative items, and requested a manual approval of my application. The Bank claimed that they can not consider these reports, and they only go by the 'XXXX Score ' included in their original letter of denial. The Banks letter of adverse action contains a XXXX score of XXXX, a very low score that does not match with my consumer reports. Considering that my FICO score is XXXX and none of my consumer reports contain any negative or derogatory items, a XXXX score of XXXX has to be an error. The Bank first claimed I had to dispute this with ChexSystems. I did so, and ChexSystems claimed it is not them but the banks who generate XXXX scores. So it appears that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had generated a false XXXX score, and made an adverse decision against me based solely on that erroneous score, without considering the actual contents of my consumer reports. This adverse action now causes a continuous negative impact on my future consumer reports. Despite my repeated requests to correct this score and remove the erroneous entries from my consumer reports, the Bank has refused to take any corrective action. I am attaching my most recent correspondence with the Bank, which explains the problem and my requested resolution in detail. If necessary I can provide additional evidence, including prior correspondence and my full consumer reports. Thank you.

Complaint: previous filed complaint with CFPB # XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and referred me to FDIC and now FDIC referred me back to CFPB because the problem is XXXX which need to correct the data report. At first when I tried to open a bank account with other bank and was declined due to the report from my previous XXXX XXXX XXXX Bank marked it paid which is not indicated what type of paid that what I was informed from the bank declined me. Now the invested were completed from FDIC and revealed that the XXXX XXXX XXXX bank did n't report any negative report after the closing filed from first FDIC XXXX XXXX. No. : XXXX ) but when I tried to open bank account with other bank and still indicated paid which no one know what type of paid so I contacted to FDIC again and final investigate indicated from the XXXX XXXX XXXX Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX did n't pay for any charge off and indicate the paid was XXXX that mean XXXX did n't pay for charge off. and since XXXX still have the negative report on my credit report so FDIC told me to file the complete to CFPB because your company is the XXXX dealing with XXXX. and also about bank fraud. I filed the police report about bank fraud for the XXXX XXXX bank after I able to get the phone number from my XXXX and found out about the report about XXXX XXXX bank fraud and scam which I enclosed all the attached here with. XXXX have to clear my report on my report data because it causes me damage to not able to open an account since i am the victim made by XXXX XXXX bank. see from my search attached.

Complaint: I Had a checking account that was closed by the XXXX XXXX attached to the checking account was a credit line. When they closed the account they never said that the credit line had to be paid in full. Payments were made in accordance with the monthly payment. When i was told that the account had to be paid in full the amount was paid immediately. I have been trying to open a checking account and i have been told that i have a mark against me on XXXX. I called the aforementioned company and was told there was nothing they can do. I called the bank ( XXXX ) and they told me there is nothing they can do, that they have put a satisfied into XXXX I was never late and was never told the account had to be closed. This was there mistake and they refuse to remove it from XXXX. I am having a hard time getting an account open.
